Chapter 11: A Brief Meeting

My body feels so heavy to lift. The moment I opened my eyes the warm rays of sunlight were so dazzling that I closed my eyes with my right hand.

After a while, my eyes finally got used to the rays of sunlight. I glanced around and saw the girl I treated yesterday sleeping in her sleep. His face that was very pale yesterday gradually began to return to normal. Seeing her condition, my little heart felt a little relieved.

I forced myself to get up from my place. In a moment the pain spread all over my body making me want to lie down.

I walked between the shelves and saw if there was anything I wanted there. Yes, as of today there is a massive discount, so I should make the most of it as possible.

“Hm, maybe I should choose a slightly more expensive food.” My guman while taking some fresh bread along with chocolate jam and put it in my bag.

After shopping at the store, I drifted back to the roof of the building where I slept last night. There was still a girl lying under the warm morning light.

I brushed that thought away as I approached the girl. I sat down beside her and took some bread from my bag and put it next to the girl.

I glanced at the soldiers calmly. As they began to slash their swords at me, my protector activated by itself and condensed those people. But bad things happened again. My legs suddenly squeezed to the point of making me fall to my knees on the ground.
