Chapter 8 part 2

The scorching sun shone through the holes of the shattered windows. This room is on the 2nd floor of an old apartment used by the northern city alliance as a headquarters. In the room there is a long table on each side there are several chairs that have been used by several people. At one end of the table, there was a blonde woman who was sitting while propping up her chin with her hands on the table. The woman was none other than Rias, the one who became the head of the alliance.

I stood beside Rias at her command. He didn't let me sit like the others. It's so annoying, he's treating me like his personal assistant. He didn't know that standing like this could make me stifle.

“So, do you have a plan to attack the ruler?” Rias opened the discussion by asking.

“How about we attack at midnight?” one of the men answered.

“Kei, stretch that map!” rias said commanding me.

I turned around and took out a large enough map and pressed it against the small nail wall at the corner. I moved to the right side of the map while facing the people. Rias turned her seat and scanned the map.

“If we attack at night, where we will start attacking.” Said Rias.

I turned and looked at the map. There can be clearly seen the image of the division of the territory of the state of Alastein.

In the northernmost part is the village of Rose which is surrounded by a very dense forest for several kilometers. At the southern end of the forest is the northern city. To the west of the northern city there is the city of Ars, to the east there is the city of Square, while to the south there is the city of Fluch. In the middle of the country Alastein there is a central city surrounded by 3 cities, namely the city of Villain to the west, the city of Traes to the east, and the city of Fluch to the north.

When viewed from this map, the chance of the success of the northern city alliance defeating the ruler was very small. In this case, there is only one way that might work.

“Ehm.., can I interrupt for a moment.” I said as I raised my hand to the people who have been discussing the assault strategy since.

Rias looked at me with a confused face then said, “What's the matter?”

“What does not matter if I give a proposal about the strategy we will use.”

“Say!”

“See from this map, the probability of our successful plan to defeat the ruler is very small. For that I recommend to subjugate the city of Ars and the city of Square at the same time.”

“I know you don't want to involve a lot of people in this plan. But if we don't use this plan, then the northern city alliance will disappear without a remnant.” My objection.

“Tapi_”

“Sympathy will only make you lose the war here. Do you have the heart to see your friends die compared to others you don't know.”

“Tch.” Cresh clenched his hands and bit his lips while returning to sit reluctantly.

“Can you explain why we should attack those two cities?” ask Rias.

“Of course.” I replied, “The reason why we should attack those two cities is to urge the ruler.”

“Empress the ruler?”

“What do you think the ruler will do if the northern city alliance attacks both cities at the same time.”

“Most likely he will send many troops to counterattack.”

“And that's when we will use the third army to attack the city of Fluch.”

“So you mean we will form 3 troops.”

“No. The alliance forces will only attack the city of Ars and the city of Square. As far as the city of Fluch leave it to the group BlackList.”
