“Nathaniel, do you really want to defeat the ruler?”

I asked Nathaniel as we were gardening in the morning which was so refreshing.

“What's wrong with you, suddenly asking that?”

“Actually I've already devised a plan for it. But I desperately need a partner to run it. I thought_”

“Yes, I'll help you execute that plan.” Nathaniel.

“Before that, I have a question for you. Is there a large group in this city?”

In order to carry out this plan, I must first confirm whether there is a large group here. If it is true, then everything will be very easy.

“I think I've heard there's a big group in this town. But no one knows if it's true or not. Maybe it would be better if we consider it no.”

He made such a conclusion simply because he doubted the truth. Honestly, this is stupid. Doesn't he think there are people who deliberately make us doubt the truth to cover it up. It seems like he should be given more understanding of this.

“Have you heard any rumors about where they are?” I continued to ask.

“As I recall some say that they are based in the Klaurius.” housing

Klaurius's estate? You're kidding me. I've been there and found no sign of human presence there. If it's true that the rumor says their base is there, then it's definitely not true. It's a waste of time.

No, wait. If indeed the rumors say that they are headquartered in the Klaurius housing which is a research center. If you think further then..,

“Nathaniel, where is the location of the research center other than Klaurius housing?”

“I know there is no research center other than Klaurius.” housing

Actually it's a simple puzzle. To find out the rumor I just need to figure out the point. In this puzzle, the point is ‘Research Center’. So I just need to find out more about it.

“Maybe the Vallencius family.”

After we finished gardening, Nathaniel and I went to the Vallencius estate. It looks so calm. If we take a quick look at it then it will definitely assume there is no one here. But a trick like this won't make me give up.

“So what we will do here?” ask Nathaniel.

“Just play the role of detective only. No more than that.”

“Detective? You mean investigate this place?”

“Ya roughly like that.” I hastened my steps, “For that we need to split up for this mystery to be solved.”

“Alright, I'll search west.”

“Ya.”

To carry out this grand plan I need to stay away from Nathaniel. It would be dangerous if he stayed near me. At least he'll suspect what I'm about to do.

I continued walking straight towards a large Villa. The exterior of the Villa was very dirty with black patches. The black patches were not soil or anything like that, but rather dried up blood. It is not surprising that this villa is uninhabited.

On the floor of the terrace Villa was also a black spot and full of dust, making me not want to step on it.

I kicked at the closed entrance so I could get in. You could say I was very unwilling to touch the doorknob.

There was no sign of anyone in the room. Ignoring the circumstances I kept walking straight towards a room that had no doors. The room was quite small with 1 bed, 1 study table, and 1 cupboard.

I watched the bed carefully. The floor under the bed looked clean. It's obvious that this is strange. Just in case I use the form-changing technique and then wear a black mask that I made with my strength.

“Hm.., I think this form is a bit fat from my original body.” My grunts while watching my hands.

Putting my hand in my pocket, I kicked the bed into pieces. I continued forward and kicked the shattered wall blocked by the bed earlier. Behind the wall was a small empty room and the floor was covered with mats.

“It's troublesome. You shouldn't have to make this secret passage of drag.” lamented.

I gathered a little force on my right foot and kicked the floor with my heel. The floor of the room collapsed instantly. Behind the ruins of the floor was a staircase that led the way to the basement. I thought this was a classic puzzle.

As I continued to walk quietly, I suddenly felt the existence of someone. The man attacked me with a sword. I swiftly dodged the attack by jumping backwards. He advanced shortening the distance and then slashed his sword vertically. I calmly grabbed the sword with my right hand and then crushed it. Seeing that he immediately jumped back and shot.

Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!

The sound of gunfire echoed in the room. I quickly dodged and shortened the distance with the person who attacked me then kicked him until he was thrown very far away.

Suddenly I felt the aura of the presence of many people from in front of me. I took a few steps back and suppressed my aura and fused with the darkness.

“Everything try to see this!” yell at one of them.

“What's up?” ask the others.

I began to shorten the distance with them slowly. Stepping carefully so as not to make a sound. Coincidentally, there was something separate from the group. Immediately I ambushed and covered his mouth with my right hand.

“Hallo!” I whispered to him.

He started to panic and tried to take my hand off her. I gathered strength in my left hand and slashed his neck. His body collapsed and his head was still in my grasp. In order to utilize that head, I drained my fire power on that head and turned it into a fireball. After the fireball was formed I threw it at the group of people earlier.

“Awas!! There was an attack.” Shouted one of them.

It did not take long, the fireball from the head was successfully held. After enduring the attack, 3 of them shot towards me. The first person slashed a sword coated by fire horizontally at me. Seeing that I jumped up to avoid it.

The second person jumped up and attacked me from the front with an electrified spear. My protector suddenly activated and resisted the attack. As I was about to land, the person using the fire sword and the big hammer attacked me from both directions. In that state of urgency, I channeled my power into the air and formed a ball of wind.

>Boom<

An enormous ball of wind exploded destroying the dungeon and attacking my enemies. The sunlight shone on the ruins of the basement. The large villa above him was smashed into pieces.

Not only did I have a moment of rest, the long-range attacks that varied against me. At times like this, I really want to complain. But there is no time to do it. This is so annoying. I sighed and then floated and waited.

The attack was successfully held back by my protector who will be active when pressed. It's actually very unpleasant to have this kind of power. Because this power makes me unable to feel the pleasure of the fight. Because of this too I cannot feel what is called pain from being hurt. It's boring, isn't it.

A few moments later the attack stopped. A thick set of smoke covered the area. I floated straight ahead ignoring the smoke.

“Only that's your ability?” ask those who attacked me.

They were shocked to see me coming out of the smoke without getting hurt. It was indeed very reasonable, because no ordinary human could survive a series of attacks like that. But I am different from them. I was able to withstand the attack earlier because I had a protective god that I hated so much.

“B-how did you survive the attack?” ask one of them to me.

“As most people do, I just resisted the attack.” My answer.

“Death to you monster base!” He shouted while attacking me blindly with his sword.

“You have no right to tell me to die.”

I casually avoided all of his sword slashes. He slashed his sword horizontally towards my neck. I easily dodged by squatting down and stabbing her in the stomach with my right hand.

Blood flowed and washed my hands. That guy's stomach was badly hurt from my attack. I pulled his stomach intestine out. Blood soaked my mask and clothes, then the body of that person collapsed beside me.

I stood up and looked at the people watching our fight. From here I can see them all start and even throw up to see what I've done. I can tell why they are like that.

When I first saw a scene like this, I was also very disgusted to see it. There was also a strange feeling when watching it. But now I'm used to seeing this a lot.

“Before you leave, I want to tell you something. You are free to take this as a warning or not. But obviously, after I beat all of you. Our next goal is to clean up the northern city.” I said.

I'm pouring electrical power in both of my hands.

“But you can't think you can live after hearing what I said.” I'm proceeding.

They panicked and ran without direction. I floated quickly and slashed at them one by one.

After a while, only one person remained from the group. He stood upright while carrying two sword blades in his hand. His courage is to be praised. He refused to die without fighting back. I stopped a few meters in front of him.

“Because you are so brave to challenge me, then I will be kind to let you be my subordinate.” I told him.

“Sorry if I have to reject your offer.” He refused my offer politely.

Before I finished my words, he suddenly stood by me and slashed his swords in turn. I painstakingly avoided that series of quick attacks. Because I was desperate to jump back.
