The Red Game's

The Red Game's
Chapter 4: The Chaos

A week has passed since that day. All this time, I've only enjoyed the days with the BlackList members. I don't think it's wrong if I enjoy a little peaceful life and do something nice with them. Even so, I shouldn't get too carried away. My true purpose of coming here is still not achieved. Maybe it's a good time to get ready.

Walking out of the headquarters towards the courtyard, I was greeted by fresh air in the morning. A comfortable silence I could feel, this was better than having to listen to the noise on this beautiful day. Believe it or not, the morning air and the peaceful atmosphere can make the mind calm. It can be said, this is a natural remedy that can calm the mind.

The sun begins to rise, the light it emits makes the body temperature more stable. He can be symbolized as a complementary spice to food so that it adds to its flavor. The sun is also an important factor for life. Without sunlight, the air would be so cold that nothing could survive.

“Ah, I don't think I can enjoy it much longer than this.” I muttered like that after yawning.

Back inside the base, I took the bag I had filled with some bread and water. Today I will not eat with them, so in order not to starve, I bring bread to fill the stomach. The long journey will begin soon.

Leaving the BlackList area, I walked down a small alley. There was not a single person there like I thought. Although I usually like this kind of place, but the trip this time was none other than to search for the headquarters of another organization. I know this job doesn't suit me, but for the sake of achieving the goal, whatever I'll do. As long as it is done, it is enough.

The further I walked, the more I found a big, empty street, this was a road I had been on with someone. Going down that street, I got closer to the empty alley where I was saved by Cresh. First of all, maybe I need to visit him.

When I was right at the intersection of that alley, I quickly hid. There was coincidentally a person in a black robe. I was lucky enough, because he wasn't facing me. Peering into the alley, the cloaked person had not moved from his position. He just kept on standing and slightly lowered his head. Is it possible that he is using the Remote Communication Technique.

It's possible that he's using a cell phone, but I'm not sure it's going to work well in this city. And also, there is almost no signal that can be used to be a connection. So, the only possibility was that he was using the Remote Communication Technique. This is a rare and reliable ability when a situation is desperate.

All of a sudden, the cloaked person I was watching turned around and quickly ran towards me. He seems to know of my existence. After he shortened the distance with me, without warning he shot me with a gun in his hand. Using full speed, I managed to dodge the attack, then turned to attack him with fists.

The fist towards his stomach made him hit the wall. The wall was cracked withstanding an extremely strong impact. I thought that person was no longer able to survive the attack. Just in case, I picked up the gun he was wearing.

As I was about to leave that place, a heavy-sounding voice called out to me.

“Wait ... I still .. not yet .. lose.”

Hearing that, I stopped and turned towards the voice. I can't believe he's still persistent to get up. If I don't remember wrongly, my fist should have been enough to break some of his bones.

“Why don't you still give up?” my many.

It should have been fortunate enough for him to be able to survive after being hit by an attack. But why does he look like he wants to die. I don't get it.

“I ... can not lose ... now, I still have to ... run my job ...”

I pulled the trigger from my gun. The bullet that escaped from the gun instantly made blood flow from the head of the robed person earlier.

“Whispering.”

I'm really sick of him. He should have pretended to be dead to trick me, but he was so stupid as to call me. If indeed he was looking for sympathy, then he was wrongly targeting people.

A fireball was fired from behind. It was indeed a quiet attack that was quite ingenious, but I could easily avoid it by running sideways. And it's a pity that the attack that was launched would definitely have a bad impact on the person I shot earlier.

Shortly thereafter, another attack was launched again. I had no other choice but to get into that dead-end alley to dodge. Again I can be cornered by the enemy. Maybe I should pay more attention to the enemy's attack pattern when fighting.

Dust and smoke covered the view. It would be bad if I could not see that the enemy was attacking. I'd better be careful. From within the fog, I could see a hint of light, it seemed like it was a fireball attack. It seems like they are not very skilled in combat, and I also do not have to bother to dodge.

Within a distance of about 1 meter in front, the fire attack had exploded like it was hitting a wall. Actually, because of this curse that I have, I became unharmed. Any attack would be free if it was directed at me. But to make me look like an ordinary person, I pretended to be weak by always withstanding the curse. Because if this curse comes out, then those around me will die horribly.

The fog that had closed the view had now started to disappear. I could see two people walking towards me. They must have thought I was dead and wanted to check my body.

“Hallo!” I swipe at them.

They may be surprised, so subconsciously jump backwards.

“No need to be surprised?”

“How could you possibly be alive after the attack?” the person on the right answered by asking.

“That's because your attack is too weak.”

“What did you say?” the person on the left became irritated while preparing for the attack.

“Stop! We do not know the extent of this man's ability, his friend” warned.

“Not so attack?” I scoffed. “Oh, it's probably because you're scared.”

“Job.”The person I ridiculed shouted while attacking with a fireball attack.

“Stop!” exclaimed his friend, but it was too late.

The attack was directed straight at me. This time I pressed on as much strength as I could. Automatic protective ability finally I can press so as not to come out. As the attack drew nearer, I caught it with my right hand, then returned the attack to its owner. The fireball exploded as it hit its target.

“Look how stupid you are. You can't even control your own attacks,” I said.

Seeing that, his friend immediately helped him stand up. I'm surprised he's still alive from such close range. Yeah, it was his attack anyway. Maybe he managed to reduce the effect of the explosion. But still he was unconscious despite that.

“Who are you really?” ask the person who supported the body of his injured friend.

“Before asking, you should introduce yourself first.”

“I don't need to tell you that.”

“If it is like that, I am also the same.”

“Actually what's your goal to attack us?”

“Shouldn't I have asked that.”

“What do you mean, it's clear that you attacked one of our friends. We attacked you it was natural because you hurt her.”

So he argued that it was a bond between friends. Then he would happily spend his time on revenge. Is useless. He doesn't know his own limits.

“Although he's a traitor?” I asked again.

He confirmed it with complete confidence. You should know, in this world trust each other it's not too much. It could be that the person you believe is betraying you to survive. The only thing you can trust in this world is the facts you see.

“You said it with such conviction. Are you a fool.”

“I'm not stupid. Friends obviously have to trust each other, right. You who are only a loner can not understand that.” Irritatedly he said it.

“Let me confirm to you. He contacted someone in the morning in a quiet alley all by himself. Is that natural? And I'm also not sure if he called you.”

“No, that's a lie. Surely he has his own reasons.”

“When you were attacked like this, did he help you?”

“He has you killed, how could he help us.”

“Originally you know, he's not dead. I just gave him a scratch on his face.”

“Lying ... You must have finished him.”

“It's okay if you don't believe me. I don't care about that either. So I hope you can relax and see what happens next. Yes, if you trust me later and want to be my partner, you just need to find me.”

“It won't happen.”

“Who knows you changed your mind. The future is unpredictable. All right, I'll go.”

I walked across the two men. Maybe I can go quietly now. Joking, where might I go when the new show is about to start.

In front of the entrance of the alley, I could see some people were heading here. I activated the Invisible Technique and suppressed my aura so as not to be discovered. This is the show I've been waiting for since. That's why I intentionally buy time.

Those guys went into the alley. And as I thought, the one who brought them here was a cloaked person who could use the Remote Communication Technique. They shortened the distance with the two people I was talking to earlier.

“What does this mean, Aris?” ask the person who supported his friend.

I guess he must have asked that, because he trusted his friend too much. It looks like he should be told that it was a bad thing. After all, we cannot know the heart of others.

“Haih, don't put on a face like that. I'm here to help you, Nathaniel,” replied the cloaked man.

“Eh? So you're saying these people are your friends? I didn't expect you to be friends with people from other organizations.”

I can't believe this. He still believed what his traitor friend said. But being a good person is not easy, Nathaniel or whatever your name is.

“Alright, first let me reduce the burden on your shoulders it.”

“Receive— eh?”

So ruthless. A friend whom Nathaniel trusted so much was easily able to kill his own friend. He shot the man Nathaniel was supporting. His head was shot and he made blood bleed.

“Eh?”

Nathaniel was so shocked to see what had happened. He still could not believe that that person was his friend named Aris. His body froze, his friend's lifeless body falling to the ground.

“What's up, Nathaniel? You should feel happy because the burden you carry is no longer there.”

“What does this mean? It's a lie, right. Aris couldn't have killed his own friend. You must be someone else disguised as her.”

Nathaniel said that because he still did not believe what he saw. It seems like he is now desperate.

“That's absolutely right. I would never hurt my friends. But you are not my friends, so I can hurt you.”

“You are not .... Tell me what you said was a lie.”

“Hahaha, this is the reality. If you still don't believe me, I'll help you end that dilemma.”

Nathaniel collapses to the ground. His heart must be broken at this moment. The friend he trusted did not consider himself a friend. But he had to accept the reality even though it was very bitter. There was no time for him to regret now.

Calmly, Aris pulled the trigger. The sound of gunfire rang out, bullets fired shot towards Nathaniel's head. However, the bullet was unable to reach it. Lightning instantly blocked the bullet.

“Arisssssss!!!!!!!!”

While shouting hysterically, Nathaniel covered his entire body with electric armor, then moved to attack his enemy from the front. He's such a fool. It's obvious it won't work.

The wind ball attack was launched by several of his enemies. But foolishly Nathaniel accepted the attack and went ahead. He was already completely darkened by anger. Ignoring the attacks that hit him, he continued to advance little by little until finally his spirit was destroyed and he collapsed.

Suddenly, a flash of lightning struck his body. The ground shook, then Nathaniel floated like a lightning god. The look of the armour he was wearing, was different from before. With a swing of his hand, he made lightning strike his enemy. However, the attack was successfully resisted with wind protection.

The enemy counterattacked by attacking their combination. Nathaniel tried to contain the attack. The explosion occurred, from where the explosion Nathaniel, who had run out of strength, fell to the ground.

Pretty good, I never thought he'd give me a surprise. He managed to make his enemy overwhelmed even though he was alone. But it's still not enough. Nathaniel must continue to grow. Maybe I should give him a little help.

Of course it's just a lie. I might even bother helping him. I'm just a spectator, not a director.

“Finally he died,” muttered Aris.

“How now?” ask friend.

“We will rest and prepare to destroy that organization.”

“OK, we go.”

They just left as if nothing had happened. Are they sure Nathaniel is dead from the attack, or may have forgotten to check. Yeah, I don't care anyway. Most importantly, thank you for the show. I admit it's great. Seeing a good person who cannot accept reality and ends up destroying himself. That's what fools do.
