The Red Game's

The Red Game's
Chapter 4 part 1

Meanwhile, at the BlackList headquarters, a gloomy girl, was sitting on the porch looking at the courtyard. He did not understand what his feelings were feeling. When he was with that person, he somehow felt happy. And when that person is not with him, he feels lonely even though he is not alone.

“Ah, what's wrong with me?” the girl muttered while holding her head.

“What's wrong, Vany,” asked a young man with purple hair, who was behind the girl.

“Eh?” The girl was shocked and involuntarily let out a voice. “Oh, Cresh. You surprise me.”

“So, are you thinking of Kei?”

While sitting next to Vany, Cresh said the sentence. He didn't know if it was right or wrong, but he had never seen Vany before. Either because he didn't notice it or indeed Vany always hid it herself so no one knew.

“Eh, -to-why suddenly discuss about that person?”

With a flushed face and a little nervous, Vany said that. From his behavior, others must think he is in love.

“Haha, I never thought you could fall in love with someone. Hahaha.”

Obviously Cresh would laugh seeing this, because the Vany he knew was a tomboyish girl who had no interest in the opposite sex. Seeing her acting nervous and her face flushed was something that was never thought of.

“I'm not in love.” Vany strongly denied it.

“Then, why are you nervous like that when I say it. Isn't it obvious you're thinking about that guy.”

“No... it is not true, I just .. how to say it. I just feel like he looks like someone I admire. That's it.”

Saying that, Vany recalls about someone she admires. The person always looks calm and is never affected by circumstances. Whatever obstacles he faced, he could easily overcome them.

“Actually, I also feel like he is similar to the person I know. He never looked bad or good. However, he always saved his friends, even though his mouth never stopped complaining afterwards. I miss those days.”

Seeing that, Vany patted Cresh on the shoulder. The clap made Cresh regain consciousness from his dark circle of thoughts.

“You why? Your face looks scary.”

“Ah, that .. is okay. By the way, I haven't seen Kei since. Where did the freak go?” To distract Vany, Cresh changed the subject.

“About the guy. I didn't see it either. Is it possible that he escaped after getting information about us.”

“I don't feel that way. In fact he was just having fun and never observing our abilities.”

“But, it still does not guarantee that he is not a spy. After all, what we're talking about is Kei. He never showed sympathy or hate to us. It could have been that person scraping information in another way.”

What Vany said has a point. That person, Kei, he is an unpredictable person. No one knows if he is black or white. All that is seen from him is nothing. But his eyes seemed to see everything. When described, he was a terrible monster.

“You think Kei is the one who would happily want to be a spy?”

I don't know on what basis Cresh concluded like that. But judging from Kei's pattern of action, he almost seemed like a slacker who ignored everything. And also a lover of tranquility and dull peace. Looking at all of that, it would definitely make one doubt whether he was a spy.

“Maybe he did it on purpose. So far, we never know what exactly the person's destination is.”

Vany categorically denies Cresh's opinion. The reason he denied it was convincing enough. Because Kei could have been pretending all this time, that way the plan would go smoothly.

“Yes, I can't deny your opinion.” Cresh. “But I believe in Kei. Because he's my friend.”

Not denying or affirming. Cresh decided to speak according to his intuition. He didn't care how others would respond, because Kei was already his friend. Either because there is an agreement between the two, or because of something else. Only Cresh knows.

“Friends, yes ...,” Vany murmured softly.
