The Red Game's

The Red Game's
Chapter 7 part 3

The match for the position of the alliance chairman between me and Rias has begun. I stood up while putting both my hands in my pants pocket while looking at Rias. He looked very calm, no doubts were emitted by him. Seeing that I became convinced that he was already very used to fighting.

He crossed both hands in her chest. Suddenly something appeared from his back. It seems that he has the same technique as Cresh's. He smiled sinisterly and stared intently at me.

“Hei Kei! Quickly remove your technique. I won't hesitate to beat you up.”

“Strike if you want.” My answer.

Hearing that he immediately shuddered and attacked me with something coming out of his back earlier. What came out of her back was a silver statue shaped like Rias. The statue slid towards me and then launched an attack with his fist.

Without waiting any longer I directly dodged the right side with a quick movement. In an instant Rias increased the number of statues attacking me. The statues surrounded me so that I could not find a gap to run.

The statues attacked simultaneously. Their hands turned into a sword whose tip was very pointed. I moved forward to hit one of the statues to make it fall down. When I thought I could finally escape the encirclement, the silver rope from the statue wrapped around my body so that I could not move. The other statues form a circle around me. They put their hands together and slowly turned into a cage that locked me away.

Rias walked towards me, the silver rope wrapped around me slowly sheathing with a silver cage. A triumphant smile formed on Rias' face. He calmly looked at me and said.

“This is your ability?”

His words must have been to provoke me. He had no idea that I had no intention of winning against him. If I had the intention to win, I doubt he could have stopped me despite exerting all his strength.

“Yes I lost to you. I shouldn't have fought you in the first game from the beginning.”

He seemed distracted because I wasn't provoked by his provocations. This is inevitable, to be able to provoke me he has to do more.

“Ha..., you are really a boring person.” Rias complained like that after sighing.

“Sorry if I don't live up to your expectations. I also don't care anymore if you don't want me to be your advisor.”

“Pfft... so you really want to be my advisory hand huh.”

It was only natural that he considered me so eager to be his advisor after hearing my words. The explanation was quite simple in my words just now, I did slip such a meaning. I'm surprised he found out.

“I don't want it in the least, you're the one who's overconfident.” I said.

Hearing my words, he became smoldering. His silence contained a huge frown and his facial features were very frightening. He must have been very angry because of my provocation.

“Hey, hey. Don't be angry dong. I'm just trying to provoke you a little bit. I didn't expect you to be angry just because of that.” My welcome.

Rias relaxed her right hand. Suddenly a silver whip came out from his palm. He swung his whip once on the ground. The ground that was whipped by him instantly formed quite a large crack. He's back ready to use his whip.

“Eh? Seriously though? Ehehe, sorry for the previous one. I don't intend to bother you.” I said that while raising my hand forward trying to calm her down.

It's bad, it's very bad. Why did I provoke him. It will be very troublesome later if there are others who see my abilities.

He swung his whip as hard as he could. I hope this sangakar can withstand his attack. If I strengthen this root, he will most likely know about my strength. It's bad, I don't have a solution.

The whip attack drew closer, suddenly the purple chains resisted the attack. Rias looked at the person using the technique. The one who used the purple chain was Cresh. I don't understand why he would help me at a time like this.

“Why did you interrupt my fight with him?” ask Rias.

“Hm.., if I didn't hear wrong, he admitted to losing a while ago.” Answer Cresh.

“It..,” Rias becomes confused to answer what it looks like.

“Ah, it's my fault.” Cut me, “I'm wrong for making him angry. So I hope you can forget about this.”

“Eh?” Rias flinched hearing me help her.

“Oh so yes.” Replied Cresh, “That means this match has been won by Rias. You don't mind, Kei?”

“Yes. Besides I can't do anything anymore.”

I glanced at Rias for a moment to convey a gesture.

“Ah.., yes I understand.” Said.

Rias immediately pulled back the silver cage that locked me into her body. I was relieved to finally get out of the cage. Maybe this is how people who are confined to a place feel when they can finally get out.

“The first match, Kei against Rias was won by Rias.” Shouted Cresh.

The sound of cheers filled the field. I know they are happy because Rias won the match this time even if it was only against me.

I left the arena without speaking again. When I got into the group crowd, Vany immediately pulled me somewhere. Judging from his behavior, he seems to want to confirm something to me.

We got out of the crowd and into the place that Cresh and I had been to before. Vany took off her hand which pulled me. He turned towards me then observed my expression.

After a while he finally gave up on not getting any results. He breathed and then said.

“I'll get straight to the point. Why weren't you serious about fighting Rias?”

If I could be honest, I actually knew the plan from the beginning. He set me up for that match. Well, come to think of it, I could have rejected it. But it would be bad if I refused by force. Because he'll be more suspicious of me.

Vany raised her eyebrows waiting for my answer.

I sighed and then replied, “That's because I'm not interested in becoming the alliance chairman. Besides, I also don't want to look flashy. What is enough.”

From his expression I could see a question mark appear on his face. Maybe now he is confused as to how he will respond to my words.

“Don't you already know that I don't like being the center of attention.” My welcome.

“Ya.., that's true. But why would you want to follow that match. I don't understand.” Said.

“Although you've known me long enough, you still can't understand me. I feel disappointed.”

“Eh.., no, no, no.” He became nervous and misbehaved, “Not that I don't understand but, I just feel confused after seeing your behavior lately.”

“Hm.., so yes. It turns out you did realize it yes.”

Vany remained silent. He must have been very surprised by what I said just now. Maybe he thinks I'll admit to everything now. But that's not going to be possible for me now.

“Actually lately I got a hunch something bad will happen.” I told him, “And it turns out the hunch was right. That's why I've been feeling so fucked up lately.”

“Eh?” vany responded to my words.

He looked very disappointed when he heard my explanation. I believe his hopes have been shattered.

“Why do you look disappointed?” my many.

“Ah, no. That..,” Vany became confused and finally switched the topic, “Oh yes, we should go back to watch the game.”

“Good.”

I obediently followed his wishes. It's no use asking a question I already know. And with this Vany's suspicions will surely disappear a little.
