“Hei!” A scream so loud suddenly echoed inside my eardrum. Because of that, my mind that was so messed up is now gone.
“What's up?” ask me to respond to Vany's words.
“Why do you look moody like that?” ask Vany.
I took my eyes off her and said, “It's okay.”
Vany sighed as if she wanted to complain about something. “You are very bad at lying,” he said.
I admit that I'm bad at lying, but I'm only bad at lying to him and not to anyone else. Because it seemed like he was the one who could understand this so complicated path of my mind with just a single look. To be honest, it sucks, but everything is like that.
“Do you want to go somewhere with me? Maybe there you can regain your fire spirit,” asked Vany once more.
Go somewhere to find some spirit? Does he think I am the one who will be easily excited in the face of something? I really don't understand this girl named Klaurius Vany. Because his mind-line is much more complicated than mine.
“Alright, where are we going?” I answered by asking a question indicating that I agreed to go with him.
“I didn't think you'd want to come,” responded to Vany who was a little surprised.
I stood up and looked at Vany boredly. “Already, where are we going?”
“Alright, follow me.” Vany also walked to another exit from the alley we were in at this time, then without saying anything, I walked in his footsteps.
Along the way, Vany continued to talk about something that I thought was not important, so to respond to it I just replied by saying ‘iya’ and such. I was actually very tired of all this, but maybe by going to the place that Vany meant, I could rest a moment and reflect on what I was going to do next.
The further we walked, the more we did not expect to find some soldiers standing guard with long rifles in their hands. Vany and I stopped and hid behind a building watching the soldiers.
“What should we do against them?” vany asked as he kept an eye on the movements of the soldiers.
“Don't we just have to beat them all up,” I replied nonchalantly while putting my left hand in the pocket of the pants.
“It turns out that now you've become very stupid, yes,” taunted Vany while turning her eyes to me. “Look at your condition now! Are you still sure that you can beat them all?”
Who would want to be fooled by this girl? does he think I'm a senile young man? Or maybe he has forgotten his own ability? Okay, let's ask.
“You are the fool Vany,” I said as I stared intently at her eyes. “To overcome those soldiers, you just need to use your invisible technique.”
“But what about you?”
Vany pouted as she crossed her hands in front of her chest and shifted her gaze in the other direction. “Huh, you will.”
It's up to you to tell me what, 'cause I didn't care about everything you said in the first place. And yes, I took this trip just to throw away the stress. “So you want to go where you said before or not?” ask me about Vany.
“Iya, yes, I will leave soon,” said Vany as she walked away with a heavy heart.
Before Vany got out of where we were hiding, he used his invisible technique. “Alright, what should I do now while waiting for him to get to the destination,” I muttered while yawning.
Trying to fight this self-inflicted drowsiness, I leaned against the wall of the building I was hiding in at the moment to relax my entire body. Right now my mind feels empty and so hollow. There was nothing I was thinking about right now, and only the sound of the gusts of wind was always heard by these ears and filled the space of my head.
Time after time passed, I closed both eyes, and suddenly, I saw Vany who had stopped because she had reached her destination. “Ah .. well,” muttered me as I gathered all my clutches all over my body and focused this thought in order to use the technique of moving places using shadows.
In the blink of an eye, I was already right in front of Vany. When I looked at her face, Vany looked still upset at me. Ignoring all that, I immediately asked him, “So, where exactly is the place you want to show me that.”
“Here,” answer.
I glanced around, there was nothing special about this place, just an empty room with a little lighting from a hollow ceiling. “Here?” I repeat Vany's words.
“Iya here.”
I raise my eyebrows, because he seems to be joking with me. “Come on, we already don't have time to joke, do we?”
“Actually you're watching me or not?” Hearing the question, I just looked at him, and it turned out, he had pointed at the floor I was stepping on. I immediately jumped backwards. I really feel silly now because of my very strange behavior.
“It turns out you are indeed being stressed, yes,” said Vany once again.
I sighed this because I didn't want to argue further with him, because I guess it was a waste. Regardless of me, Vany immediately lifted the wooden door that had previously been stepped on by me. When the door was open, I just approached and saw behind the door that there was a ladder that stuck down.
Vany, who had finished sliding the door, went into the hole that had the stairs, saying nothing to me. After he went down deep enough, I finally caught up with him until I finally reached the bottom of the hole.
The place where I am right now is a dark hallway, and then in the darkness of this hallway, I could see Vany holding a small ball that was emitting a white light to illuminate the passageway.
We walked for a long time without talking to each other. I just continued to follow Vany from behind with no intention of walking next to her. Yes, I am a jerk, but I am doing this so that this self is never considered to exist by anyone, so I deliberately keep my distance.
A few steps ahead of us, I could see the light coming from outside the hallway. Soon, the wind blew from there. Vany turned around and turned off the light emanating from the small ball he had in his hand. “How? Is this a good place?”
