Matt POV's
From that night I thought about the woman who always looked at me with the kind of crying look I met.
Lea, I've heard that name. There was a longing that I felt when I mentioned his name. However, I don't remember clearly who this Lea is?
"Matt, are you awake?" Ask Anthem that morning.
I nodded, "I can't sleep." My answer.
"If you are confused, hold on to the strong so as not to fall." Answer Anthem origin.
"Anthem, am I curious about that woman named Lea? Have I ever been close to him?" My toot.
"Find the answer yourself. I won't help you find the answer but if you ask me to help you get closer I'll help you." Answer Anthem.
"really? You want to help me?" My toot.
Anthem nodded steadily, "I won't repeat my statement about helping you a second time. So ask me for help, whenever you're ready." Anthem.
"Anthem, thanks. You are truly my brother!" I cried out while hugging him tightly.
"Eerrggghhh, let go of me! I'm not your brother. I told you we're just like brothers! Like brothers!" Anthem said.
Arriving at the restaurant where I worked, as usual I did everything awkwardly.
Prangs!
I stared at the plates, though,
"How many times have you broken a plate in an hour?" Ask Alesya to me.
Alesya is my senior. Anthem likes him, he is kind and very patient.
"I'm sorry, I'll be careful." My leg's bowed.
I again finished my dish-washing job more slowly and carefully. It was so strange that I was holding these plates. I prefer something challenging, like hunting. I think it's fun.
As usual, every lunch hour, dinner until this restaurant is closed, Anthem and his friends always order food here.
And today they came to the restaurant with a joke. Ah, I want to get inside their circle.
"Hey Matt, grab a menu there and record their order!" Owen's orders, the manager of this restaurant.
"Good." I replied, then came out carrying the menu and ready to record their order.
My heart was pounding as soon as it reached Lea's table and her friends.
"Good day, what message would you like?" I asked politely while glancing towards Lea.
But why isn't Lea looking at me at all?
"I'm as usual." Answer Lea.
"I am too." The man sitting next to Leah.
Their orders were the same as yesterday and yesterday again.
"Matt, man,"
Leah!
"Yes miss? Any additions?" I try not to seem too happy.
"Will you accompany me tonight?" Ask Lea.
"Ba.kay miss. Thanks." My answer. Leah gave her smile to me. I kept that sweet smile.
Ah, I think I'm flying. Wait..wait, does this mean I like him? My heart is beating fast uncontrollably at night and I can't wait for the night to come.
"Matt, you like Anthem's friend?" Alesya asked during our break.
I felt my face heat up and a tinge of red radiating rapidly upwards, "Looks." My answer.
"He's sweet. Anthem used to tell me about Lea." Alesya.
"I seem to have known him and we have a very close relationship. It's like dejavu. Have you ever felt that?" I asked Alesya
Alesya shook her head, "But I experienced a miracle when Anthem came into my life. Like something made my spirit reappear. Every day I woke up with hope, and so did Leslie, my son, even though the doctor told her she wouldn't be able to live long, but more and more days she wasn't like a sick child. He's been very cheerful ever since Anthem came into our lives." Alesya.
"So, what do you think?" My toot.
"With Lea? It seems like she's fun and kind, just go for it until you get to know her well." Answer Alesya again.
I nodded, "I will follow your advice, Alesya. Thanks." My word.
"Trust me, when we fall in love with the right person then a miracle will happen in your life." Whisper Alesya and prepare dinner dishes.
***
That night after I finished my work hours, Lea was already waiting for me in front of the restaurant.
Her hair was in a ponytail with a thin bangs in front of her, with a sweet shirt and cardigan and a knee-length skirt that made her look even sweeter.
"Hey.hi." My broom.
"Hi, where are you going?" Ask Lea.
"Mmm, let's just take a walk to the park. Do you want to?" Take me.
Lea nodded.
We walk in silence, occasionally talking stale. He asked me how I work, though,
"I'm a new employee and I'm not deft at doing this or that." My solute.
"Everything new is bad at first. Do you want to work with me?" Ask Lea.
"You work too?" My toot.
Lea nodded, her ponytail hair down.
"Can I work with you?" Ask me again
"Come to my office when you have some free time. Actually it wasn't mine, it belonged to someone I loved so much but now he's gone." Answer Lea.
The deg!
He already has a moor, gone is my chance. I'm bowed limp.
"You tired? Ah, there's a chair. Let's go there." Sahut Lea's.
He took my hand and helped me walk. If I could tell him that I was limp because he already had a moor and now he took my hand.
When we were already sitting on the chair, Lea noticed my face in the dimness of the garden lights, "Well, you have a fever?" He then held my forehead with his hand.
My heart was pounding, "Are you cold? Too bad there's nothing warm here. Or do you want to come to my house? My house is close enough from here." Ask Lea and give me a hand warmer.
"Te. thank you." Nervous me.
"We'll just go to my house? Actually it's not my house either, it's the stupid guy's house." Lea said her gaze was now blank.
"I think I'd be a fool if it was about you." My solute.
Lea turned towards me, "You mean?"
"I'm willing to do anything as long as you laugh and be happy. Even I'm willing to change my life to save you." My answer.
I don't know where I can say that sentence, but to look at it my heart is not calm.
"Do you think? You gonna do something stupid for me, too?" Lea asked back.
Back that power prompted me to nod and answer without hesitation, "Of course!" My solute.
Lea locked her gaze so that I could not turn away from her, "You'll do anything for me?" Ask Lea.
I replied, "Anything." I answered without thinking.
Leah held my face with both hands and slowly brought her face closer to me, then she gently landed her lips against mine.
The deg!
The deg!
I returned the kiss, hoping that Lea would not hear the beating of my heart like a war drum.
