Those sequential sounds are starting to scare me, but I need to stay calm.

"Hunter, don't you want to try my cake?" I try to divert this hot atmosphere.

Max gave me the cue to get out of there right away but I flinched.

"Stop Hunter! Drop guns!" My stick is sharp to Hunter.

Hunter looked at me due to my sudden change of voice and attitude.

Max also stared at me, and he lowered his gun.

I whispered to Anthem as he floated low above me, "How many names?" My toot.

"Five." Anthem replied in passing.

He flew back to the roof and then circled around, while continuing to flap his wings.

Seeing Max lower his weapon, Hunter gives his men a sign to lower their weapon.

I breathed a sigh of relief, "Eat!" My body was firm with them.

I looked for Rue and it turned out that she was waiting for me behind, "I knew you would ask me to protect Max right? Then what about you? This protection spell can't protect you both." Said Rue.

"I can protect myself." I answered Rue.

"Thin thin? I don't know where you came from yesterday but it's really draining your energy Lea." Rue Say.

"No problem with me." My solute.

I saw Rue coating Max with her protection spell, and I really appreciate that.

Anthem floated low and landed beside Rue, I could hear Rue saying in a moment that he would bring three people first.

I walked up to Max and Hunter and thought about how to disperse them?

"Hunter, if your business is done please leave us." My word.

Hunter tilted his head while smiling horribly, "I? Done it? It hasn't started yet, Miss." Said Hunter.

"Do you know Miss, this man you're protecting has killed my family. Decades I had to live alone when other children were filled with the warmth of their parents, I had to survive to get this opportunity." Call Hunter again.

His hungry eyes did not make me tremble in the least.

"So does my husband, Max. One of your families killed Max's parents. Max's biggest mistake was getting revenge by killing your entire family. And this will be a vicious cycle that will never stop. So this time I beg you, forgive my husband and we can be one family, how's Hunter?" I'm trying to complete this peace mission.

Anthem flew back low and he shook his head at me a sign that my words were meaningless. I insist, there is no harm in trying.

"I'm sorry? I never accept an apology. There's no apology in my life, miss. If I accept my apology I won't be here, I'll give my sermon at church wearing a chasuble." Answer Hunter.

"What do you do when Max is dead?" I asked Hunter.

Hunter grinned wide and sinisterly, he looked at me sharply, "I told you earlier, my target is not Max. But you're my target, beautiful lady."

Hunter slowly approached me, two of Hunter's men quickly held Max's hand.

Max tried to escape, "Don't go near him! If your filthy hands touch it I won't hesitate to kill you!" Tuck Max.

I was facing Hunter, he touched my face with his fingers rough on my face. I turned my face away to avoid her touch.

"I have information from Old Nelson that your tears are precious Miss." Whisper Hunter.

"Stop that jerk Hunter! Face me!" Max exclaimed, he kept rebelling from the two people holding his hand.

One man held his hand using a shotgun aimed at Max's head,

The gun was ready to fire, "Stop moving or you die!" Said.

Max fell silent and obeyed his restraining order.

I glanced at Max and breathed a little.

"What do you want?" I asked to vent to Hunter.

Hunter again grinned, "Crying Miss Beautiful!" Hunter's orders.

"Is that all you want? After I cry are you going to let go of Max?" My toot.

Hunter's men gave me a huge empty box, "Fill this box! If it's full, then I'll set you free and won't bother you anymore. Able?" Ask Hunter.

Rue walked over to me and slapped Hunter,

Max's men fire their rifles into the ceiling of Max's house and point them at Max, "Return! Don't interfere!" Exclaims.

Rue retreated from looking at me who was frightened, he raised both of his hands and moved away, "Okay, I'm retreating!" Tukas Rue's.

I breathed a sigh of relief, "I'll cry. Promise me to keep your promise, Hunter." My father asked for his promise.

Hunter smiled broadly, "I promise Miss Beautiful." Said.

I could see three men looking at me worriedly, one of them Anthem. My body is in a very weak condition and right now I have to take out my pearls in a crying way which will also drain my energy.

I imagined all the sad events that had happened, and that would happen.

Slowly my tears turned into pearl grains that fell into the box.

Hunter clapped and cheered in excitement, "Wowh! I thought Nelson was crazy because his old age turned out his speech was not a figment. Fill that box with your pearls, miss! If you can hurry! Ahhaha!" Hunter is complacent.

The tears began to fill the big box, I could no longer cry.

Rue and Max were aware of that, "Lea stop!" Tuck Max.

Max elbowed Hunter's men in the stomach and held his hand and took over his rifle.

"Max stop!" I exclaimed.

The sound of a rifle breaking my ear, Max shot the Hunter guy who was holding it.

I could see Rue's protection against Max working perfectly because one bullet aimed at Max bounced and turned around.

Two men have died and been taken by Anthem. Who is the other one? Me? Max's? Or Hunter?

Hunter moved behind me and pointed his rifle at me, "Stop Max or your extraordinary wife is going to die!" Said.

Max dropped his rifle, "Take him off!" Max.

Hunter snorted, "Cry! Continue your pearl! Don't stop until my box is full! I won't kill you if the box is full!" Said Hunter.

There was still half a box left but it seemed like my tears had run out as well as her pearl.

I forced myself to cry, my pearl shrinking not as big as usual.

"Lea! Stop that!" Tukas Rue's.

Rue walked up to me and snatched the pearl box, "You want it to be full? Is that so? I'll fulfill it." Said Rue again.

With a swing of his wand, Rue was able to take out the pearls that immediately filled the box.

Hunter excited. A greedy grin was imprinted on his face, he gave another empty big box of his men, "Fill this!" Said laughing.

Max pulls me closer to him while Hunter's attention is distracted by Rue.

"Go Lea. Get Max out of here! Go that far away I'll distract this jerk! Hurry on!" Rue sent me telepathy.

Just now we're going out, Anthem's coming our way.

"There is one life, this must be fulfilled. That's his command." Anthem

I didn't know what to do, but Max pulled me out. One of Hunter's men shouted, "Boss, they're running away!" Exclaims.

"Shoot 'em! Haha. We're gonna be rich! Just shoot both of them, I don't need that woman anymore! Ahaha!" I heard Hunter exclaim from inside.

I fell limp, blood quickly flowing from my body. I felt the warmth leaving me. Slowly my consciousness was gone from me, I was trying to find Max. I saw Max fall beside me and try to grab my hand.

I reached for Max's hand, but everything turned dark. A very terrible darkness.

"Max live. Hold on Max." I tried to strengthen Max, but the darkness soon swallowed me.

In the darkness Anthem approached me, "Are you ready to go, Lea?" Ask Anthem.
