Max POV
Brad's loving eyes on Lea made me want to kill him and even cut him into pieces.
Brad gives time to Lea so she doesn't get bored. Why didn't Brad notice me too who was bored? Why just Lea? Ed also looked sleepy, but Brad was only focusing on Lea.
As of this moment, Brad and I were simultaneously holding Lea's hand.
But in just a split second, Lea disappeared and was already where we were sitting earlier while waving her cheerful hand. That brave girl made me like her more.
"A...What was that Max? How did Lea get there when obviously I was holding her hand here? Am I dreaming or am I too tired or are my eyes shaded?" Ask Brad.
I smiled, "Look. Lea has a special ability, you don't dream and obviously you're not crazy Brad." I replied, hurrying after Lea who was waiting for us.
Rue was already there with his big smile. These bad boys still often use their abilities in big cities.
We finished as soon as dusk disappeared, Brad quickly invited Lea over to eat with him.
"I'm sorry Brad. Me and Rue are going to buy our exhausted needs, aren't they Rue?" Lea asked Rue with horrible eyes.
"True Brad. Our cooking is almost gone." Answer Rue.
"Let me drive." My and Brad's at the same time.
Brad and I looked at each other, and our goal was the same. I'm not gonna let Brad go first.
"Can I talk to you alone, Brad? Ed please take Lea and Rue wherever they want." I asked Brad, and approached Ed and gave him a car key and a magic card to pay for all their needs.
Brad looked at me, he knew what I had just done and then he smiled, "Our minds are the same." Said.
I let Brad sit down, "Oh yeah? But it looks the same." My speech.
Brad ordered a drink for both of us, "Drink." Said Brad.
I downed the drink in one go, "Thank you." My solute.
"As for Lea, isn't it?" Ask Brad.
I smiled, "I've known her since a few years ago she's a very attractive woman even able to open the door of my heart." I started a conversation with him.
"I had a trauma and he managed to make me forget that trauma and chase away my nightmares years ago. Now I'm much calmer, my sleep is quality." My neighbor again.
"Ah so you're using it?" Brad asked in annoyance.
"At first it was, but the longer I got to know her the more I liked her." My answer.
"Is Leah a witch?" Ask Brad again.
I smiled, "What did you conclude?" My toot.
Brad laughed, "I doubt my sanity, hahaha. I mean, in this modern era are there witches?" Said.
"It depends on your opinion, right?" My solute. Brad never knew what I was going through, beyond human reason. I went up in the clouds, met a mermaid, and it was more crazy that I walked around with the angel of death. Is that not crazy? If I think about it I wonder if I dream?
Even I imagined I'd be a fantasy novel writer after Nelson's death, I thought it would be pretty good-selling when published.
Brad seemed to think hard, I turned his mind, "What I want to talk to you about is do you like it? Lea meant. Do you like Lea?" My toot.
"Very clear. He's mine Brad. Maybe we can be friends for business but for love we will be enemies." My husband confirmed to her that Lea was mine.
"What's your mark on Leah? I don't see a ring on his ring finger or middle finger." Brad asked for proof.
"I didn't mark Lea as mine, but our relationship has gone very far Brad." I'm biased. Of course, he was willing to wade through Purgatory to save my soul. It was not a trivial thing and could not be done by any human being. Oh, I forgot Lea wasn't human.
Brad is pensive in his own thinking and definition of a very distant relationship. I'm not going to correct that.
"I guess you already have a boyfriend." I remember Lea's story about Eleanor and Brad.
Brad snorted, "Eleanor you mean? I consider him my own brother. I never did more to him. He used to ask for my money, and I gave it because I just thought of him as a little brother nothing more." Brad replied.
"What if Eleanor sees you as a man?" My toot.
Brad shook his head, "The kind of woman like Eleanor isn't looking for love, she's just looking for fun." Answer Brad
Exactly right! Very Eleanor.
"We're back in Lea, Max. Before your wedding invitation and Lea were spread out, I still had a chance to approach her. Isn't that right, friend?" Brad said smiling.
Damnit damnit! How could I have asked Lea to get married? I could have been put into the Valley of Death again before I could have proposed to Lea.
I looked at Brad in annoyance, "Well, I'll speed up our invitation!" Tukasku.
***
Ever since my meeting with Brad, we've been close friends. Brad's a fun and nice person to talk to about anything. His personality is kind and friendly. I still have a lot to learn from him.
When I'm upset I'm usually gonna cock my gun to get my men to obey me but not Brad. He embraces all his employees to cooperate with him.
"You're so nice, Brad. I'm not that ordinary." My heart one day.
"Just get used to it, it's pretty easy to do that." Answer Brad.
Before long Lea came to Brad, "Brad, I really don't understand this. My head's circling. Let me just make a taco instead of having to do all these papers." Complain Lea.
Brad smiled patiently, "Later tonight I will visit home to teach you how to enter this data through a computer or laptop." Legally.
Hmh! That close.
"I'm also going to your house tonight to bring you something, Lea. What do you want?" My toot.
Leah thought for a moment, "Hmmmm..Well? Oh, cinnamon ice cream with a sprinkling of little chocolate on it. I haven't had that ice cream in a long time. Nobody here sells it. I miss Tom." Answer Lea.
"All right, I'll bring you tonight." My heart is content and triumphant.
"Who is Tom?" Ask Brad.
"Oh, he was an ice cream vendor near our house back then, Max." Replied Lea enthusiastically.
"Our house?" Ask Brad again.
I smiled in satisfaction and walked over to Lea and then embraced her, "Yes our home Brad. Any problem with that?" I was teasing Brad whose face was filled with question marks now.
