Max POV

I'm Max never give up, all my life I've never felt defeated? Is that a loss? Is that a surrender? Not even the smell was ever smelled.

But right now what I'm dealing with is love, something I can't handle, something I can't threaten with my rifle, something invisible and something that's hard for me to conquer.

"OD! ED!" I screamed with excitement as I remembered how close Lea was to Brad.

Ed came in a hurry, "Hey! I'm not your assistant! I asked you to find an assistant but you didn't want to. I don't want you to order like that!" Ed protests.

I looked at Ed sharply, "So?" My toot.

"Yes, what's wrong?" Ed forced himself to smile.

"Tell me about love." My Tukas hid a red tinge that ran through my face.

Ed chuckled, "Hahahaha. I'm sorry Max, but this is so funny. Will the earth stop spinning because you want to know love?" Ed asked with a satisfied laugh.

"Stop laughing at me Ed!" Gertakku.

With great difficulty Ed finally stopped laughing, "Who's that lucky woman?" Ask Ed.

"Gee!" Sahutku.

"So? What does he like?" Ask Ed again.

"Money." My answer.

Ed laughed again, "Eh, hahahaha... Ahem! Ahem! Alright." He said withholding laughter, "I mean what does he like? What did he really dream of?" Ed clarified the question.

I thought, "Hmmm, there's nothing he really likes but money and .."

There's no way I'm telling Ed that Lea wants to be human.

"Lea wanted to have a house and be rich. That's all her wish." My answer in the end.

Ed looked at me and shook his head, "Well, what a dream." He said, "it's hard to make that happen if you're not a capable person." Keep up Ed again.

"Nothing is difficult. I'll just stay by her side, give her some spirit and I'll cheer her on every step she makes." My solute.

Ed clapped for me, "I salute your struggle Max. Your determination is strong when you want something. All right, I'll support you to get Lea." Ed patted my back.

"How is it?" I asked, because I was blind about this and it was new to me. I fight for love, not for power or victory. It's hard to explain when we're fighting for love.

"I'll make a reservation on behalf of the two of you at a restaurant. Take her to a romantic dinner tonight." Ed offered his idea.

"Lea doesn't like to eat. He just likes ice cream." My heart is desperate.

"It's hard too, huh? How about going to the cinema?" Ask Ed.

"He doesn't like it because it's dark and noisy." My answer.

Ed went back to thinking, "Walk on the beach?" Ed asked again, he did not seem to run out of ideas.

"Lea does not need it because he already has a beach with duy... I mean he's seen the beach a lot." I almost slipped.

Ed tilted his lips and ruffled his waist, "Now this time I found Lea's drag lady." Said. I don't want to argue with him because that's how Lea is. He likes chicken but does not like roasted chicken, he likes fish but does not like the durian, even he likes durian just the fragrance. There is no Leah in this world.

"Max what about the playground. Take Lea there. On the playground there's ice cream vendors, corndogs, light snacks, right?" Ed's proposal suddenly.

My eyes are shining, "You're smart too Ed. That's a brilliant idea. Well, since you're smart, I'll make you my personal assistant. Okay Ed. Make the schedule I'll tell Lea." My solute.

"Can use Max's phone." Said Ed.

"Lea doesn't wear it, but I'll buy it." I hurried to Lea.

The next day, I bought Lea and Rue a new phone.

"What's this?" Ask Lea.

"Mobile." My answer.

"I know because I got it from Brad yesterday, but why give me a cell phone?" Ask Lea.

"There's no excuse. I just want to give you guys something." I nodded while turning my face away.

"There's no reason for me to accept it, Max." Lea answered and returned the phone to me.

"Can. This weekend doesn't matter, does it?" Ask Lea

I cheered in excitement, "Certainly? Is that true, Lea?" Ask again.

Lea nodded slowly, "Yes." Answer Lea.

The Sunday I was waiting for arrived, I picked Lea up with super handsome makeup.

"Wow, you're so handsome Max." Praise Ed.

I pointed my thumb at him then rushed to pick Lea up.

Arriving there,

"Hi Max's. Thank you for taking us to the playground." Brad smiled broadly.

"No one's taking you, I'm just taking Lea." My reply.

Leah went out and brought a lot of stuff, "I took Brad, Rue and Tom with us. Is that too much?" Ask Lea.

I patted my forehead, "God strengthen me." Saying slowly.

Inevitably I put on my sweetest smile, "Please Lea. Not too much." My answer.

On the way, I got sidelined and got a job to drive a car. While Brad? He was joking with Lea and Rue. If anyone asks who is sitting next to me? The old grandpa was an ice cream vendor. I want to slam this taste of my satire.

As soon as I got to the playground I pulled Brad's shirt, "Hey Brad. Back away! I proposed this so today's my chance to be close to him." Tukasku.

Brad laughed, "I'm grateful for that Max, but we shouldn't miss even a small opportunity, right? So I'm going to use this free and precious time of mine to play as much as Lea." Answer Brad.

"Can't! How about we have a game? The winner will get a chance to have dinner with Lea." My proposal.

Brad looked at me excitedly and extended his hand, "Deal!" Said Brad.

I welcome him, "Okay, there's a shooting stand. How about we go there?" My toot.

Brad smiled, "Don't be cunning Max. That's your expertise. We're looking for another. What about fishing? I'm not good at fishing and I don't think you've ever been either. So who gets their first fish the winner? How's it?" Ask Brad.

Fishing out? I'm not scared!

"okay! If I win, you'll have to pay for all our food tonight, and vice versa." Sahutku added.

Brad smiled broadly, "No problem." Answer Brad.

Eventually Brad and I parted ways with Lea, Rue and Tom. Because there is a love match that we have to finish immediately.

I never knew fishing was so boring and I regretted following Brad who proposed this damn idea.

Twenty minutes passed by and no fish seemed to be approaching my bait, and I saw Brad. The fate is the same. My time is wasted here.

"What are you guys doing? He said he wanted to fight?" Asked Rue who seemed to be satisfied with playing.

"Why are you fishing?" Ask Lea. Then my heart cheered with joy as Lea approached me and took my bait.

"Let me." Said.

Not for five minutes, Lea had three fish, "Well, this is exciting." Legally.

Brad and I looked at each other, "Well we'll have dinner together. Play as much as possible." Exclaim Brad.

I smile. It doesn't matter that I don't play with Lea as long as I can see her smile I'm so happy.

It was getting dark and we decided to go back, but suddenly Lea pulled me over.
