The LEa POV

Max has given me everything I want including a birthday party. Somehow but he managed all the inhabitants of the sky to come down to earth just to party.

Persuading my father is not an easy job either. My father was hard to conquer but Max managed to make me enjoy the birthday party yesterday.

I know the time is getting closer I can feel it. Plus there are some people who lately often lurk our house.

I cast a protection spell and Rue added. They couldn't see us even though we were passing in front of him. They can only see our home.

Max I haven't told you about this. As much as possible I will take care of him. I don't want him to walk away from me. I want him to stay by my side and face this together.

"Certainly Max? Honestly, I'm scared. I'm not afraid to die but I'm more afraid of losing you." My words tighten my embrace.

Max took a deep breath, and I knew he was thinking the same thing about me. If only our path could be changed.

The angels whispered to each other, and they went inside. Before long they came out and approached me, "Come in." They opened the white gate and told me to come in.

A bunch of clouds got out of the way as soon as they hit my feet, and one of the clouds stuck to my feet so I didn't have to step because the little cloud was taking me.

The entrance from the gate to the Ruler's throne is quite far away, the place is filled with tall and large golden pillars. And the Sovereign was inside that large, circular building.

As soon as it neared the place of the Sovereign, the huge scales moved up and down in front of me. How horrifying. I know where this is going. Hundreds of people appeared there. There were three angels on duty, one of them carrying a note. The other two stood on the left and right sides.

The two angels guarding the gate only escorted me to the entrance by the scales. The rest I have to walk alone. I'm scared but there's no way I'm coming back, right?

I climbed the stairs to get to the top. Up here began to meet many angels. They greeted me because they knew Anthem and the Ruler were my father's friends.

The ruler seemed to think of my words, "You don't think of your mother's father?" Ask again.

"Does Max have to die? And did you think of me when you made that decision?" My toot.

I deliberately made Him angry so He wouldn't take Max.

"What makes you love him so much?" Ask Ruler.

"Is there any reason to love? Do I need to find an answer to why I love her?" My challenge.

The ruler laughed again, "Hahaha. Truly the daughter of a Wren. So then? You want to exchange it for the reason you love her? Even though you will risk death too and because you are not immortal then all your actions will be calculated as well. Can Lea?" Ask Ruler.

I think He wants to test my love and seriousness. I nodded steadily.

The ruler nodded, "Thank you for your trust Lea. But it is My will that happens not your will." Answer smiled.

I know I won't be able to. I fly with a warp and I feel like my wings are heavy. My tears quickly dripped and pearl grains fell.

In the middle of the road I tangled with Anthem, "I'm sorry Lea, it's time for me to go down and join Max or you." Said.

I nodded, "Yes, I know." My answer. There's nothing else I can do but follow His will, but whatever happens, I'll keep Max alive.
