It's Hard

Matt POV's

I'm still waiting for Anthem at King Wren's residence. Me and Alesya to be exact. It's been a few hours since Lea told us Anthem was conscious it was just weak.

Currently the King of Wren, Lea san and Rue were looking at the condition of Anthem in the place of the Ruler.

Alesya came up to me who was sitting under a big tree. "Hi, Matt," said Alesya.

I confirmed my sitting position. "Hi, Shay," I replied.

Alesya then sat down beside me. "It's like waiting for a patient who's in critical condition, huh, Matt? During Anthem on earth, I never slept well. Once I'm here, Queen Edwina always gives me warm milk before going to bed, and my sleep quality is better" Alesya said.

I smile. "Everything here is a miracle, yes. Like this tree, it seemed to block the incoming sun as I lay here" I said.

Alesya looked up and sure enough the sunlight was supposed to go through the leaves but this big tree blocked the sunlight from entering.

"That's exactly what you said. How much more will Anthem recover? Why did he not choose to be an angel? I will love him, no matter what form he takes" asked Alesya.

"Because he wants to keep you company until you're old. Anthem wants to join hands as your skin starts to wrinkle, he wants to spend his free time with you and he doesn't want just you aging, he wants to age with you" I replied.

I admit Anthem's thoughts are incredible about this boundless love. I looked at Alesya, her face visibly moved as I explained about Anthem and her way of loving.

"I never thought Anthem could be that sweet and gentle, Matt. He's an angel with all his greatness and majesty and I don't think he's going to want to hang out with humans but I'm wrong. She is amazing, " said Alesya holding haru.

I embrace Alesya whom I have taken as my own sister. "Patience to Anthem to recover quickly, we can't see it up there,"

"When I wanted to meet Leslie, I missed her so much" Alesya said.

"I know, but it cannot and should not be allowed by the Sovereign" I replied.

Before long we fell silent and waited for Anthem and Lea to come to see us. Until Queen Edwina called us for an afternoon snack, Lea had not returned.

"Has it been all this time, Mother?" alesya asked Queen Edwina.

Queen Edwina poured a strawberry sorbet a lot into Alesya's bowl. Did Queen Edwina forget that Alesya was not Leah? Lea's a lover of strawberries and cinnamon, but I don't like it. Or is he a fan of everything? I don't know.

"What's my old son? Oh, Anthem? Usually not this long. Or because the power of the great Anthem so a bit difficult to adjust to his human body? I also lack understanding, son," replied Queen Edwina, sitting among us.

While we enjoyed the sorbet made by Queen Edwina, Lea and the others came.

Alesya looked at Anthem with a haru look, she quickly approached Anthem to hug and kiss him. "Thank you for sticking around, baby" Alesya said. He kissed Anthem non-stop.

We surrounded the dining table, the house fairies immediately made food in the kitchen. So that once there is an empty plate on the dining table, the plate will quickly be filled again. Justjust wonderful.

"How do you feel about being human?" I grinned wide.

"Weak and my body hurts all. I just know why humans need massage services because they are very tired and have complaints of aches" answered Anthem.

I nodded in agreement. "That's how, ah but I'm so happy to see you being human" I said.

I looked at Anthem, who was taking a mosquito out of her arms and letting it fly. I think Anthem will be an amazing human being.

"After this you must teach me to be a great and handsome human being. My good looks were reduced as soon as I saw the mirror," Anthem whispered to me.

"In fact, my good looks must be maintained so that Alesya can still see me," Anthem replied with a big smile.

Oh yeah, why I never thought of doing that. "Your father is amazing, Anthem. We should be handsome together. If we have kids later, we'll be good-looking dads that our kids can be proud of" I said.

Anthem's eyes sparkled when talking about children, he was very enthusiastic.

"Hey, Matt. I am now a human being, while doing adult scenes later, I can reach the top along with Alesya. Well, it's cool," Anthem said.

"Just try it tonight, ah but you're still weak. Your energy can't be much out, poor Anthem" I told him.

Seeing the look on his face that looked regretful, I laughed out loud.

"I will make you immortal maybe seven days from now, the Sovereign is waiting for Anthem to recover. You two are his favorite children" King Wren said that night.

I'm nodding. King Wren put forward quite a heavy condition for me.

"You're forbidden to do adult scenes until you become immortal, Matt. You willing?" ask King Wren.

"What's? Why?" many surprised.

I can't, I can't!

"Your children will be like Leah. Half human, half fairy. My plan is that I make you immortal, after which your children will become immortal. I don't want my granddaughter to go through a painful process like Lea, Anthem or you will" replied King Wren.

I'm silent, it's hard. "Can't we play it safe? Lea's a little hard to hold, you know what I mean, right?" I tried to bargain under the name Lea.

King Wren rubbed his long beard, a sign he was thinking hard. "Hmmm, that's right you said. Lea was his will hard. Then, how do you deal with it, hahahaha," King Wren said heartily.

After discussing everything related to immortality, we ended our conversation.

I met Leah in her room, and she was waiting for me. As soon as I entered the room, he dragged my hand. "Are you sure you want to be immortal and lead this kingdom? Look me in the eye, Matt! It's a pretty serious matter" Lea asked suddenly.

I'm nodding. "What's wrong?" many confused.

"You're not under anyone's threat, are you?" Leah asked again.

"What the hell is that? Of course not" I replied.

Lea breathed out. "You've seen Anthem, he almost died, Matt. I don't want to see you like that. Let's go at the moment" Lea said.

"It's my will, Lea. Believe me, nothing bad will happen" I said trying to calm him down.

Lea shook her head. "Before my father became king, his brother was a man. The ruler made him immortal, but my uncle's body was unable and he eventually died. He's dead, Matt! I don't want you to die!" lea hugged me.

Is it as severe as the process of becoming eternal? I patted Lea on the back gently, and rethought her words and my decision.
