Like lightning struck during the day, Rendra was shocked to hear Keenan's statement saying Nadine was his wife.

"Wife? Not likely. It's impossible if Nadine is Mr. Keenan's wife. Nadine is not married yet, so she may be a wife, let alone be the wife of Mr. Keenan, a director of this hospital"

Rendra shook her head as if she could not believe what she had just heard. Nadine was not having a boyfriend so how could she suddenly become the wife of someone, when she married?.

"Wife!" Rendra repeated the word.

"Nadine's married?" Rendra asked again as if he did not believe what Keenan had just said.

Rendra sat in silence in front of Mr. Bayu's treatment room while recalling all his conversations with Keenan last afternoon. Rania looked at her sister's face and was still faithfully waiting for her answer.
