Doctor Khairil opened the door of the inpatient room where Mr. Bayu received treatment after exiting the operating room. Pak Bayu occupies a VVIP room which is a room that is specifically for upper-class families because of its complete facilities and the price is quite expensive.

Ms. Soffie and all the other family members immediately welcomed Dr. Khairil with a smile especially when she saw Dr. Khairil coming along with Nadine, someone she had always wanted to meet since yesterday.

"Please go to the doctor, we have long been waiting for the presence of Dr. Khairil and dr. Nadine" Seru Rania invited Nadine and dr. Khairil to enter.

"Thank you" replied Dr. Khairil as he stepped into the room.

Nadine just nodded slowly and came in after Dr. Khairil from behind.

"Sorry, we can only visit now" said Dr Khairil when he entered the room.

"How is Mr Bayu's condition?" Ask Dr Khairil later.

A nurse who came with Dr. Khairil and Nadine submitted a file of patient examination results to Dr. Khairil and Dr. Khairil immediately received it.

"This is a report of the results of the examination of the patient who was given this morning by Dr. Heru dok" said the nurse.

Doctor Khairil took a quick look while nodding slowly then handed the file to Nadine and Nadine also received it immediately.

"How's it?" Dr Khairil asked when he saw Nadine reading the contents of the examination report.

Nadine did not answer him immediately, she stepped closer and then did a simple examination to the patient.

Everyone only saw all the examination actions that Nadine was doing without giving any comment until Nadine finished her duty.

"Everything is good doc, the results are in accordance with the examination report of Dr. Heru. His body's response and vital signs also showed a significant rate of recovery. We can make observations and tests back a few days later after the patient's condition has fully recovered" Nadine said solidly and clearly after she finished her examination.

Doctor Khairil nodded in understanding.

Bu Soffie was amazed to see the interaction between Nadine and Dr. Khairil, he could immediately guess if the two had a close relationship, seen from the way Dr. Khairil spoke with Nadine who looked very nurturing. Bu Soffie seemed to not expect if Nadine became a person who was quite influential and played an important role in the healing process of her husband.

Doctor Khairil switched from Nadine and then faced Soffie who had been curious about her husband's condition.

"It looks like the operation undertaken by Mr. Bayu succeeded bu Soffie. His body responds well to the results of the surgery that has been done by Dr. Nadine" explained Dr. Khairil.

A smile of relief immediately rose from the face of Soffie and her family, they thanked for the success of the operation Bayu.

"Thank you so much doctor, thank you" Soffie said sincerely.

Doctor Khairil smiled.

"Should be entitled to thank you is Dr. Nadine, because thanks to Dr. Nadine this operation went smoothly and Mr. Bayu can recover as usual" said Dr. Khairil.

Ms. Soffie looked at Nadine with a hard feeling to explain, eager to grab the beautiful woman's body into her arms and say an infinite thank you to her, but he was too embarrassed to do so especially everyone was waiting for his reaction.

Seeing the mother who was still silent without saying anything, Rendra finally opened her voice.

"Thank you, Dr. Nadine. Thank you very much for all the help you have given" Rendra immediately extended his hand towards Nadine hoping to get a good response from her former lover.

Nadine was silent for a moment, but then she welcomed Rendra's hand because she did not want to be the center of attention.

"Same-same. I also thank you for the trust you and your family have given me and our team" Nadine replied after releasing her hand back.

Rendra smiled, he was happy because Nadine was still willing to accept his helping hand even though he knew if Nadine did it because of the situation but he still felt happy because at least Nadine still appreciated him.

"I'll excuse you then. I have patients I have to visit".

Without waiting for an answer, Nadine immediately resigned herself. He did not want to linger there even more when he realized that there were a pair of eyes that had been staring at him with a hostile look.

Nadine came out of the hospital room of the patient who had just been in her hands, but she was shocked when she saw a man standing in the corner of the hospital wall.

"Renra!" Nadine cried when she saw Rendra leaning against the wall of the hospital hallway.

Rendra regained her senses from her daydream, then greeted Nadine with a sweet smile.

"Hi Nad, you,,,!" Sapa Rendra's.

Rendra moved closer.

"Can we talk for a second?" Ask Rendra.

Nadine was silent for a moment, she was confused why Rendra suddenly wanted to talk to her.

"What's the problem? There doesn't seem to be a problem we should talk about, because we don't have a problem, right?" Reply Nadine again.

"There's Nad. There are many things I want to talk to you about" Sahut Rendra said expectantly.

Nadine let out a long sigh, really she was not in the mood to serve Rendra at this time especially she had to go to meet Keenan who was just about to go to the airport, he is not willing if the husband leaves without meeting him first.

"If this is related to the condition of Mr. Bayu then you can ask directly to Dr. Heru because he is currently the doctor" said Nadine.

Rendra shook his head.

"No. It has nothing to do with papa. I just want to talk to you about us, about our relationship. I beg you this is very important" Pinta Rendra.

This is what Nadine does not like, she does not like if Rendra continues to bring up the past even though he himself has buried deeply in all the problems.

"I don't know what you want to talk about, and I don't want to know what it's about, either, because I don't have anything to do with you anymore" Nadine said.

"I'm sorry I have to go now" he said again.

Nadine was about to move her legs to leave but Rendra held her arm.

"Wait Nad! I'm just asking you for a minute. I wanted to explain our misunderstanding at the time. Everything is not what you think it is".

"Everything's gone, Rendra. I've even forgotten about that. Now you live your life and let me live my life" Reply Nadine.

"Let the wound of my heart that you have hurt heal, do not add new wounds" he said.

"For me, it's all over and I've been closing all those stories since I knew you'd betrayed our relationship".

I don't know why Nadine so easily ignited emotions if you have to remember the betrayal that Rendra had done to her. Two years ago, Rendra could have betrayed her trust by cheating behind her with Alya, exactly one month before their engagement.

Alya is a patient who used to be helped by Nadine when she had an accident and over time the relationship between the doctor and the patient was then turned into friends, the three of them were good friends together with Mita.

One month before the engagement of Nadine and Rendra took place, Alya suddenly came with news that shocked both their families. Alya said that if Rendra had harassed him by carrying evidence in the form of photos and videos of indecent scenes that seemed very convincing.

What Rendra said was honesty, he did not remember it because he did not do it. All of it is Alya's trap to thwart their engagement plan because Alya who is already in love with Rendra is not willing if Nadine has Rendra.

Nadine smiled bitterly, does that make sense. What a man is such a jerk, they easily deny even though all the evidence has led to him.

"Please give me a chance to mend our relationship, Nad. I can't live without you. It's been enough these two years that you've tortured me by leaving my life without wanting to listen to my explanation first".

"I beg you to forgive me, forgive me a mistake that even I do not know why I could do such a foolish deed. I'm sorry Nad, I'm, you know,,,!" Please Rendra sincerely.

Nadine looked at Rendra who looked so devastated, she could see the earnestness of all the confessions that Rendra conveyed to her. Nadine had known Rendra well even before they became lovers, they used to be best friends at High School. So Nadine knows for sure how Rendra's relationship when they pursue education together.
