The Goddess of Surgery

The Goddess of Surgery
GOODBYE

Happy Reading

🍂

Alya packed all her belongings, the items she brought when she entered the mansion belonging to the Rendra family. Today he decided to leave the house without wanting to bring anything because he already has the most valuable treasure for himself at this time, the baby that is now growing in his womb.

Alya deliberately packed her things at night before Rendra came home because she intended to leave the house tomorrow morning while all the residents of this house were still asleep in their sleep, Alya did not want to meet anyone when she went out of the house because it would hurt her pride.

He could not see the cynical smiles of all the residents of the house when he saw his departure. Not only did Rendra think of him as a stranger in this house, Rania as well as the servants who worked there also thought of him as such. Although they are still kind to him, but Alya if in their hearts they never like him.

'O Al, you must be strong, you must not be weak. Didn't you promise Nadine to be sincere and you have to be able to deal with all these problems. You must be sure after today you will definitely get greater happiness than what you imagine'.

Alya had cleaned the entire room and restored it in the same shape and atmosphere as when she occupied it two years ago. He did not want to leave any trace of himself in that room.

"What are you doing?"

Alya gasped in shock when she heard a voice appear behind her, she knew if that person was her husband. But why did Rendra go into his room? Why did Rendra come to his room when all this time he never wanted to set foot in the room.

Alya hurriedly cleaned up her things and then immediately closed her large suitcase. After that he stood up and looked at Rendra who had been watching him since then while commenting on the sweet smile, a smile that would never shake the heart of the husband.

"Have you come home?" Alya asked in a soft voice.

The same question Alya always asked when welcoming her husband home, even though she never got a reply from Rendra.

"Mmmm!" Rendra Reply.

"I'm sorry I wasn't waiting for you, because I didn't know if you'd be home soon tonight" she said.

"What's wrong? Why did you come to this room?" Alya did not say the room with the word my room anymore because he realized that in a moment he would leave the room, the room he had been in for two years alone.

"I want to talk to you" Rendra said coldly.

A moment of coldness enveloped the room.

"Alright, talk" Alya said calmly.

Rendra looked at Alya closely, he felt there was something strange about his wife's attitude. Usually Alya will immediately welcome his return by swaying spoiled in his arms and trying to seduce him. But tonight Alya's attitude seems different, he no longer treats himself as he usually does.

"I want us to get divorced" Rendra said with some hesitation.

Rendra is still worried if Alya again refuses her request to divorce from him.

Alya smiled bitterly, although she had already decided to separate from Rendra but she still felt pain when the word divorce came out of her husband's mouth. Alya took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, trying to calm her heart.

"All right, I agree. Let's get divorced" said Alya steady.

Although sick, but Alya tried to stay strong. He mustn't look weak in front of Rendra.

"You don't have to take care of anything, because I've taken care of everything" Alya said.

"Today I have filed a divorce papers and you only need to wait for a summons from the court" explained Alya again.

Rendra gasped in shock, she really did not expect that Alya had taken care of everything. Alya did say if he agreed to divorce but he did not suspect if what Alya said a few days ago was really serious.

Alya nodded.

"Yes, I'm serious" replied Alya steadily.

"I'm sorry I hurt you all this time. I'm sorry if my presence has inflicted so many wounds on your heart. You're right, we shouldn't have met".

"If only we had never met for sure none of this would have happened. You must be happy with your life and I'm happy with mine".

Rendra was still silently glued, he did not know what to comment. Though all day he had composed many words and sentences that he would convey to his wife, but now his mouth seemed to be locked tightly when he heard all the words of Alya. Part of Rendra's heart felt pinched while listening to Alya's words so loudly saying the word divorce, for some reason he felt a little uncomfortable with his heart at this time.

'Why I don't like to hear the words that come out of Alya's mouth, isn't that what I wanted all along. I don't know why I feel like I'm saying there's something Alya's hiding, but what? Why am I so curious about Alya's changing attitude.

"You don't have to worry, I won't demand anything from you. I'll leave just like when I got into this house, I won't bring anything but what I brought with me when I got into this house".

"And the fruit of our love" he said in his heart.

"I'm sorry that I can't tell you the truth, I'm afraid that you're going to get angry and I'm not ready if you renege on this fetus".

"I'm enough Ren, I don't want my baby to get hurt either.

Alya stepped closer to Rendra and unexpectedly she immediately embraced the body of the man who had been her husband for two years. It turns out that yes, if we will not get happiness in any form if we get from seizing it belongs to others.

Rendra just fell silent, he did not refuse or return Alya's embrace, he just let Alya hug her without a fight.

"Thank you for everything Ren, and also sorry for everything".

Alya let go of her embrace and instantly turned her face away so that Rendra would not see her rushing tears.

"I've cleaned up all my belongings and I'm leaving this house tomorrow morning. But please allow me to stay tonight and I promise you I'll leave this house tomorrow morning".

"Come out, I want to sleep" Alya said without showing her face.

Rendra was in his place, he did not know what to say even if there was something he wanted to say, it seemed that he would not be able to say it even more in silence he could hear the sound of sobbing from Alya. Rendra decided to leave his wife's room and leave her alone.

Finally tonight Alya went through the silence of the night alone, just as he had been through all this time. Maybe she survived because of her pride and love for her husband, but now she can not survive any longer. He didn't want to spend his entire life just maintaining something he wasn't worth fighting for in the first place.

As her initial intention was, Alya would leave Rendra's house at dawn. Perhaps one would consider him ignorant of himself for leaving without permission, but it was better than he had to go with the cynical eye gazes of the inhabitants of the house. Although never getting proper treatment from her husband and sister-in-law but Alya is not discouraged because at least Pak Bayu and bu Soffie still consider him a son-in-law and be kind to her.

Under the reflection of the dawn rays from the eastern horizon, Alya stood upright staring at the grand mansion that had been in his place for the past two years. There was regret, sadness and relief in his heart, because now he was able to release all the burdens that had been holding his heart and soul.

"Thank you for accepting my presence in this house".

"And goodbye".

Alya rubbed the tears dripping down her cheeks then took a deep breath and threw them away slowly. Alya turned around and grabbed her suitcase then immediately left the courtyard of the mansion towards the taxi that had been waiting for her ever since.

Along with his departure, Alya hoped that the wounds and tears she had brought into the house would go with her. This wound does hurt but over time the pain will disappear along with the healing of the source of the wound.
