Nadine approached Keenan who was busy at his work desk by bringing a cup of coffee that he made specifically to accompany her husband to work. Nadine always makes coffee for Keenan, but this time there is something special because he concocted his own coffee based on the knowledge obtained from Billy the barista at the cafe David.

Nadine put the coffee cup on the table while staring at Keenan without blinking, her husband looked so handsome with an eyeglass perched on his nose.

"Why look at me like that?" Keenan asked suddenly with eyes still focused on the documents before him.

Nadine smiled at the question from her husband, because even without looking directly at Keenan must always know that he was watching her.

"It's nothing. I just love looking at my husband's face when he's seriously at work".

Nadine moved her face closer to Keenan's face and said

"My husband is very handsome. He is so handsome" Goda Nadine.

Keenan lifted his face and when he was surprised to see his wife's face right in front of him, he did not realize it before because he was too focused on his work.

Keenan was stunned to hear the words that Nadine said because he had never heard those words from his wife's mouth.

"You're teasing me, baby!".

Nadine smiled a sweet smile at her lips.

"Yes, I was flirting with my husband who had been ignoring his wife" Rajuk Nadine later said.

Keenan laughed amusedly at his wife's behavior, slowly he grabbed Nadine's hand and then led her to approach and immediately lifted her body up on the table until their faces were now facing.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to ignore my wife" Keenan said sincerely, pinning Nadine's hair behind her ear.

Nadine nodded softly with lips that were still smiling sweetly.

"Don't tease me often, baby, because I can't guarantee being able to refrain from pouncing on you right now" Keenan said.

"Just pounce if you really want it" Nadine's fishing rod.

"Don't lure me now dear" Sela Keenan in a soft-sounding voice.

Nadine laughed cheerfully when she realized the husband who began to ignite passion.

"Are you busy?" He asked then to neutralize the fog of passion that had begun to appear.

"Hm, not really, baby. I'm just correcting the report Jimmy gave me this afternoon. Tomorrow I have to attend an important meeting so I check this report to make sure there are no mistakes at the meeting tomorrow" Keenan replied.

"What is it, you want to talk about?" Ask Keenan

Nadine nodded her head.

"Yes. There's something I want to talk to you about" replied Nadine.

"But if you're busy, I can put it off. We can still talk about it another time".

Keenan looked at Nadine and caught the disappointed look of his wife's words, knowing that she wanted to have a serious conversation with him.

Not wanting to upset his wife, Keenan immediately tidied up all his documents and laid them back neatly.

"Kok is closed, not that you are checking all the reports" Nadine pointed to the file that Keenan had been tidying up.

"I can check this report later baby, I have plenty of time for that" Keenan said after all the documents had been tidily tucked away.

"Now all my time is yours" he said, poking his wife's nose.

Nadine was touched by Keenan's treatment of her. Which woman will not be touched if her partner prefers to postpone work just to listen to the story of the wife.

Without cue, Nadine immediately gave a sweet kiss to the husband and Keenan welcomed him with pleasure.

"So now what are you talking about?" Keenan asked after finishing the short kiss.

"We'll talk there" pointed Nadine at the sofa next to the bed

Nadine came down from the table with her hands clasping Keenan's hands to go with him to sit on the sofa.

Keenan followed Nadine's steps without any objection.

The two sat on the sofa facing each other. Keenan clasped Nadine's hand while stroking gently to provide calmness.

Nadine took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly.

"Keen!" Nadine then.

Keenan nodded with a smile.

"Do you want the presence of children in our marriage?" Ask.

Keenan was quite surprised when he heard Nadine's question, his mind immediately looked away guessing what the wife's question meant.

"Why do you ask that? Is something going on?".

"You good rhyme?" Keenan asked back with a face that suddenly worried.

Nadine shook her head.

"Nothing's happened baby, I'm fine" replied Nadine.

"What does your question mean?" Keenan asked again.

"Don't make me think that's not - no dear. Tell me if there's a problem you're facing. I also have a right to know about the problems that plague your mind".

Keenan further tightened his hand.

"I just want to hear your opinion about the presence of a child in our marriage, Keenan. I just want to know if you want to have a baby or not" Nadine explained.

"Of course, honey. Of course I want a baby. I'd really like to have offspring from our marriage. I just want to have my wife's child" Keenan said firmly with a hand that stroked Nadine's cheek gently.

Nadine immediately fell silent, her heart was like a dagger when she heard Keenan's words that sounded so hopeful.

"Sorry!" Nadine lirih.

Unexpectedly, a tear fell from Nadine's eye patch.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Keenan asked when he saw the tears that suddenly fell on the wife's cheek.

"What's really going on, honey? Why are you crying?".

Keenan rubbed the cheek of the wife who had been passed by a tear.

"I'm sorry I disappointed you, Keenan".

Keenan was still silent trying to understand every utterance Nadine said.

"Today I went to see obgyn's doctor for a consultation".

Nadine paused her speech a few moments before the end again said:

"I want to delay pregnancy" she said with her head bowed.

Nadine could not look Keenan in the face for fear that her husband would be disappointed in her.

And sure enough, the look on Keenan's face was immediately different from before. A trace of disappointment was evident on that face even though Keenan had tried to cover it up. It is undeniable that having offspring is his greatest desire at this time. Especially that must be postponed considering the age that is already deserved to have a baby.

"Why does Nadine want to delay her pregnancy? She didn't want to be pregnant with my son. Butwhy? What I've been treating all this time isn't enough to make her sure that I love her sincerely"

Both of them were silent without anyone wanting to make a sound, each still trying to regulate the heart and trying to control emotions. This problem is a sensitive one so it should be spoken to with a calm heart and a cool head.

Having offspring is indeed the dream of all couples who are halal to complete their household heresy. But before deciding to have children is not it good if the couple communicate with each other from the heart to talk about the problem so that there is no misunderstanding in the future when one of them makes a decision.
