Nadine nodded slowly as she continued to step towards the basket of patients followed by Dian.

An adult patient appeared unconscious with various equipment that had been attached to his body. Nadine examined the patient's vital signs, level of consciousness and injuries to the head.

"The patient lost a lot of blood due to a severe injury to the head, the bleeding should be stopped immediately before Anfal patients" Nadine Diagnoses.

"Suster Dian called the OK room to get them ready, sister Nina checked the patient's blood type and prepared her blood stock" Nadine ordered.

Sisters Dian and Nina immediately perform their duties according to the instructions of Dr. Nadine.

"What about the identity of the patient, where is his family,,,?" Nadine asked the nurse Inspiration.

Indeed, it has become a standard regulation in the hospital if a patient who requires surgery must be done with the permission of the guardian of the patient concerned. This is because there are several procedures and approval letters that must be signed by the patient's family to perform surgery for the patient.

If there is no approval letter from the family then the doctor is not allowed to perform the surgical procedure on the patient. Therefore, the doctors were upset that they could not and were allowed to take any action before permission from the family was obtained.

"Keep how this doc, the patient's condition continues to decline. What do we do now,,,?" Ask the nurse Ilham panicked.

"Bring this patient to the OK now" he ordered again.

Ilham, Dina and Nina looked at each other, they were confused by what action they should take.

"Wait what else, quickly bring this patient to the operating room. You want this patient to die here,,,!" Nadine orders with a tone of voice that begins to rise.

"Wait for Dr. Nadine, we can't do it. You know exactly what the consequences will be" said Dr Reza.

"Other thing we should wait for is Dr. Reza. The doctor can see how the current condition of the patient. She was dying" Nadine began to get emotional.

"But we still can't take any action before a patient guardian comes here. We must get the consent of the patient or his family first and then we can take action. We are bound by dr Nadine's code of conduct" said Dr Reza.

"Yes, the code of conduct that will make this patient's life drift"

Nadine walked over to Risma

"Where's the affidavit" asked Nadine.

Risma showed the letter to Dr. Nadine.

Nadine quickly grabbed the letter and immediately put her signature there after returning it to Risma again.

Doctor Reza and the others were astonished to see what Nadine had done, they did not expect that Dr. Nadine would do that.

Without delaying any longer, the seriously injured patient was taken to the operating room.

"Your actions this time could jeopardize your own position, Dr. Nadine" said Dr. Reza.

"At least my actions can save a life" Nadine replied as she passed away.

Doctor Reza could only shake his head.

"Hopefully nothing bad will happen to you later Dr. Nadine" Whispered his heart.

The operation finally went smoothly and in accordance with expectations, the patient's life was saved thanks to the recklessness of doctor Nadine. A reckless attitude that will one day backfire on itself.

Shortly after the operation, one of the patient's family members arrived at the hospital. Nadine was grateful that they did not mind all the actions Nadine had done before. Instead they are very grateful because thanks to Nadine their family members survived.
