Nadine looked at the patient who was lying on the bed with a look full of compassion, how could she possibly let this dying patient just like that without taking any action. Whoever the patient is and whatever his background he is still an ordinary human being who has the right as a citizen to get medical facilities and assistance.

Nadine could not let the patient die like that to face her death without doing anything, at least she had to get treatment no matter what the outcome. Until finally Nadine took a decision even though she had to go back against the rules of the hospital.

"I'm sorry Keenan. I hope you understand the decision I'm making right now".

Nadine monologues in her heart, she feels guilty for having to get into trouble when her husband has just become the head of the hospital. However Keenan will certainly bear the consequences of the decision taken at this time.

Nadine looked at Ilham and Dina in turn and without waiting for long she immediately gave an order.

"Ilham, who is the operating room and the request of all standbay teams in place. We're gonna save this patient. I'll be in charge".

"And you're Dina, you go to the administration and take care of everything there including the guardian's permission, from now on I'm the guardian of this patient".

Nadine's orders to her two mainstay nurses.

"Good doctor!" Ilham and Dina nodded quickly and immediately did their respective tasks.

Doctor Heru who had been silent since then, now spoke up :

"Doctor Nadine, you don't make decisions without considering the risks that will occur later. It's good to talk about this matter to the board of directors. Are you not afraid that this case will backfire on your current career".

Doctor Heru tried to give understanding to Dr. Nadine.

Nadine smiled flatly as she said :

"Patients probably won't be able to hold on until our talks with the board of directors are over. It's possible that when we step foot out of this room, this patient,,,!"

Nadine pointed at the patient with her index finger

"Already gone".

Doctor Heru was immediately shocked to hear Nadine's words.

"I know the risks I'm going to face Doc, but I still can't close my eyes to this incident. I'm ready to take responsibility for the decisions I've made".

After replying to Dr. Heru, Nadine immediately passed away. He had to complete the responsibility he had just promised. Dr. Heru looked at Nadine's departure with uncertain feelings, in fact he felt ashamed of Dr. Nadine because he had ignored his own patients.

Keenan welcomed Nadine home with a big smile that appeared on his lips. He approached the wife who had just entered the house and immediately took her into his arms.

Nadine accepts Keenan's embrace without a fight. His body was very tired after eight consecutive hours of surgery, which was five hours at noon and three hours before evening, causing him to return home late from his initial appointment to Keenan.

"Keen!" Lirih Nadine quietly in the arms of her husband.

Nadine nodded slowly

"Sorry, I'm late" Nadine said.

Keenan let go of his embrace and looked at Nadine with a smile.

"It's okay baby, what matters is that you're home. That's more than enough for me" Keenan replied.

Nadine smiled and hugged her husband who had been so missed.

Keenan leads Nadine to sit on the sofa because of Nadine's power that looks very weak.

Nadine tightened her arms around Keenan's waist with her head resting on the recess of her husband's neck. And Keenan replied with a raised hand stroking Nadine's hair and kissing the tip of her head.

"Keenan,,,!" Nadine cried a moment later.

"Em, what's wrong? Did something happen today?" Ask Keenan gently.

Nadine nodded her head.

"I'm making new trouble" he said with his eyes locked.

"What problems? What a very serious matter" said Keenan with his hand still stroking his wife's hair.

Nadine nodded back

"I'm causing trouble in your new hospital" replied Nadine.

"I got you in trouble for what I did today".

Keenan smiled, actually he already knew what problems were meant by Nadine, his CCTV scattered everywhere without being realized by the wife.

"Oh yeah,,,!"

"Eum,,, man,,,!" Nadine nodded back.

"Are you going to be mad at me?" Ask Nadine back.

"Why should I be angry, I am proud that my wife showed her talent by causing trouble in my hospital" Keenan replied.

Nadine pinches Keenan's belly, upset that her husband mocked her.

Keenan laughed bitterly when he felt Nadine's hand playing in his stomach, not the pain he felt but rather the tickling tingling.

"Tell me what you've done today" Keenan later said.

Nadine let go of her embrace and immediately looked at Keenan.

"You're not angry" asked Nadine.

"If I get angry later, then I will punish you right now" Keenan twitched his eyes flirtatiously.

"I will punish you mercilessly until morning" he said.

"Its, why is the punishment going there" complained Nadine.

Keenan smiled then said:

"So now tell me, what problem have you done".

Nadine looked at Keenan a moment later she immediately told him all the events that happened today from the beginning of seeing the patient until she finally left the patient after getting the best treatment.

Keenan listened to Nadine's story without refuting in the slightest, he only responded with body movements ranging from nodding his head, clasping his hands and stroking his wife's hair until the story was over.

"Good job".

Two words came straight out of Keenan's lips as Nadine finished her story.

Nadine still looked into Keenan's eyes to see what the two words meant.

"You mean!" Ask.

Keenan rubbed Nadine's cheek with one hand and said :

"What you're doing is right, baby. You took appropriate action by saving that patient. You saved a life, baby. I'm proud of you"

Keenan kissed Nadine's head.

"Aren't you mad at me?" Ask Nadine.

Keenan shook his head.

"No. I'm not mad. Why am I angry. This great wife of mine has become a hero by saving someone's life, so why should I be angry".

"I'm actually proud. I'm proud of you" he continued.

"You don't have to feel guilty about me because your actions are not wrong and you don't have to be afraid of what will happen because I will protect you".

Cup. Keenan kissed the lips of the wife with tenderness and affection.

"I'll protect you, baby,,,!" Reciprocity.

Nadine could not hide her taste after hearing the words from Keenan, she never thought that the husband's response would be like this. Keenan is not angry but he is proud of himself, and what he said was "protecting you"! Omg, isn't that something so amazing! "

"Keenan,,,!".

Nadine again scattered her body into Keenan's arms and immediately hugged him tightly while giving a few kisses on the cheeks and jaws of the husband.

Keenan laughed again, really the treatment of the wife is the happiest thing for him. For a moment the two enjoyed each other's touch and warmth together, they dissolved in a sense of happiness that filled the entire recesses of his heart.

"Keen!" Lirih Nadine.

Nadine loved to call her husband with that hanging cry.

"Yes!" Answer Keenan.

"Do I smell?" Nadine asked a strange question.

"What?" Keenan was surprised and immediately let go of his embrace.

Nadine looked at Keenan then repeated her silly question.

"Didn't I smell? You've been hugging and kissing me ever since".

"Because I like to do that" Keenan pinched Nadine's nose furiously.

"This day I was in the operating room, surely the scent of my body was like the smell of a burnt mouth"

Nadine sniffed at the scent of her body which she thought was so nose-piercing.

Keenan laughed amusedly at the behavior of the wife and without cues he immediately brought Nadine into his arms and said

"Then let's take a shower. I will bathe you clean, doormat and fragrant. Even if I need to, I'll take a shower with you"

Keenan smiled jail full of intent.

"Ah Keenan,, you,,,! I don't want to" Nadine said in Keenan's arms.

Keenan ignored the complaint of his wife, he continued his footsteps until he reached the bathroom. And then came what was supposed to happen, Keenan and Nadine bathed together in the middle of the night with a lot of stirring plus two one in it.
