Keenan could not sit still, since earlier he continued to walk to and fro with an uneasy feeling, the wife had been taken into the operating room for an hour but there were no signs of the operation being completed.

Just Keenan standing alone in front of the operating room not a single person dared to approach him at this moment, including Jimmy. They were all afraid that if they approached then it was likely that one of them would be the target of the director's rampage that was being ignited by emotion.

Keenan's mind was really upset, he was no longer concerned with his own condition even he did not pay attention to all his clothes covered in blood. He wanted to break into the operating room to see his wife.

The waiting room used by the patient's family is now filled by employees and the hospital's board of directors who have just received news of the attack by one of the nurses IGD injured a doctor.

No one ever thought if Ilham who had been famous as an exemplary nurse in the hospital could do the act of assault to Dr. Nadine. Though all this time both of them are known to be compact teammates and never involved in disputes, but who would have thought if their compactness would end tragically as it happens today.

After being shocked by the attack that occurred in the IGD room to injure Dr. Nadine, everyone was again shocked by a fact they had never expected before. They all did not expect that Dr. Nadine was the wife of the hospital director.

"What's? So all this time Mr Keenan and dr Nadine did have a special relationship?".

"It's not just a special relationship, but Mr. Keenan and Dr. Nadine are husband and wife!".

"Why they act like strangers all this time, no one even realizes they have more than a coworker relationship".

"Why did they hide their marriage?"

"But when did Mr. Keenan and Dr. Nadine get married?".

Questions came up from their lips, but no one could give the right answers to all those questions.

After waiting for a long time finally the door of the operating room opened and Dr. Heru came out from there. Keenan who saw Dr. Heru out rushed to Dr. Heru and without further ado immediately showered him with questions.

"How's my wife doing, Doc? He's okay, right? Is he hurt bad?" Keenan immediately stormed Dr. Heru with his question.

"The operation went well Mr. Keenan, Dr. Nadine managed to get through his critical period" said Dr. Heru.

Keenan immediately gave thanks because all the fears that had been looming over him did not happen.

"We should be grateful that the wound suffered by Dr. Nadine did not hit her vital organs, although we were a little overwhelmed in dealing with the bleeding but we managed to stop the bleeding and clean the wound".

"Thank God. Thank God" Keenan said gratefully.

"Can I see him?" Keenan asked again, he really could not wait to see his wife.

"Doctor Nadine still can't be seen for now, sir, because after surgery we will take her to the recovery room for continuous monitoring. After everything is made sure it is okay, then Dr. Nadine will we move to the inpatient room. And now Mr. Keenan can only wait until Dr. Nadine is brought to his room later" explained Dr. Heru.

Keenan rubbed his face violently, not knowing that he still had to wait again to meet Nadine.

"But Mr. Keenan there is one more thing that I have to tell you" said Dr. Heru.

"What is doc? Is there another problem?" Keenan immediately started to worry.

Doctor Heru let out a long sigh, there seemed to be a hint of worry in his heart. He was confused how to convey this news to Mr. Keenan.

"Can we talk in my room, Mr. Keenan! There is something I have to explain to you" said Dr. Heru later.

Keenan immediately nodded his head, he did not want to argue much especially if something that will be conveyed by Dr. Heru was related to the condition of the wife.

Doctor Heru stepped into the room followed by Keenan behind him. The two reached the room of Dr. Heru and immediately sat in the chair that had been available there. Not long after a nurse entered the room while carrying a file given to Dr. Heru. Without waiting for long dr. Heru immediately opened the file and read the contents, his forehead immediately wrinkled when reading the results of the blood test Dr. Nadine.

"What's the doc?" Keenan asked who was starting to be curious when he saw the reaction of Dr. Heru's changed face.

"Aah!" Doctor Heru sighed quite heavily.

"This is the result of Dr. Nadine's blood test. We have to find out the reason why Dr. Nadine's body looks so weak even dropped a moment ago. And the results are beyond my prediction, Mr. Keenan".

"What does the doctor mean?" Keenan still doesn't understand.

"It seems not only because of the stabbing incident that made Dr. Nadine collapsed to unconsciousness, but because of the physical condition of Dr. Nadine who is currently not okay" Said Dr. Heru.

"Doctor Nadine is severely dehydrated sir, and the results of blood tests also show that Dr. Nadine is malnourished" continued Dr. Heru again.

"What! Undernourished?" Keenan was quite shocked when he heard something that he thought did not make sense, how could his wife was malnourished when he knew if the wife was very concerned about the intake of foods that contain balanced nutrition.

Doctor Heru immediately shook his head, and he explained Keenan's misunderstanding.

"Not malnourished Mr. Keenan, but malnourished. Both words look the same but have different meanings".

"During these few days Dr. Nadine did not consume foods that contain balanced nutrition to cause the levels of protein, iron and also vitamins and minerals are reduced. Because of the lack of nutrients that cause the condition of Dr. Nadine weak".

"Well!" Keenan shook his head as if he could not believe what the doc had just said.

"But how could that have happened Doc. During this time Nadine always pay attention to her nutritional intake, even she never consume sugar and other sweet drinks. So why is he currently having problems with these nutrients?".

"No doc! Nadine doesn't like coffee and I haven't seen her drink coffee in years" Keenan said.

The words of Dr. Heru even more surprised Keenan, Nadine never drank coffee but why the substance caffeine was in his blood.

Keenan sat on a chair while bowing his head with both elbows resting on his knees, his hands unceasingly sweeping his hair until it looked irregular again. He was still thinking about the words of Dr. Heru a moment ago which now continues to disturb his mind.

"What have I missed until I know nothing about you. Does all this have anything to do with our relationship that is not good right now?".

"If it is true that everything you are experiencing right now is because of that problem then indirectly I am the one who caused you to be in a state like this".

"Have I hurt you so much, baby, that you took it out on something you haven't done in years".

"Why am I so cruel to my own wife?".

While Keenan was mourning his actions, Jimmy came with a paper bag to give to his boss.

"Clean yourself sir, I've brought you a change of clothes" Jimmy said, handing Keenan a paper bag.

"Let Jim down there, I don't want to do anything" Keenan said with his head bowed.

Jimmy sighed, concerned to see the condition of his boss who looked very frustrated.

"What about Inspiration sir? What should I do to him?" Ask Jimmy.

Keenan raised his head then looked at Jimmy.

"I don't want to talk about anything right now Jim, do what you're supposed to do" Keenan said.

Jimmy could only swallow his bitter saliva, he should already know that his young master was not in the mood to be disturbed by any problems.

Keenan again lowered his head, at this moment he did not want to think of anything other than Nadine. Only the wife now filled his heart and mind.

The atmosphere returned to silence without a single person speaking up, not long after Mita came while carrying a paper bag containing food and drinks. Mita let out a slow breath as she looked at Keenan who was lowered in silence while Jimmy who was standing was sculpting.

"Now!" Mita handed Keenan a cup of coffee.

Keenan lifted his face and looked at Mita at a glance.

"It's enough that Nadine is on a hunger strike, you don't do the same. We still need a lot of energy to face tomorrow" Mita said.

Keenan picked up the coffee offered by Mita.

"Thank you!" Her speech.

Mita nodded slowly then handed the paper to Jimmy.

"You should eat too" he told Jimmy.

Jimmy grabbed the paper bag while nodding slowly.

"Tonight Nadine will remain in the recovery room until her body condition is more stable. Tomorrow morning he will be transferred to his treatment room" Mita said.

"You should go home first to clean up and rest for a while. Let me accompany Nadine here".

Keenan shook his head, he did not want to leave his wife even one step.

"Thank you, Dr. Mita, but I'll stay here to accompany Nadine" said Keenan.

"Then change your clothes with Keenan, do you not feel uncomfortable with blood stains that contaminate your clothes?".

"Later on!" Keenan again.

"I'll do it later after my wife comes out of the room" Keenan said, staring at the door of a room that was still closed.

"Alright, it's up to you" Mita replied while sitting in a chair not far from Keenan.

"But one thing you should know, Nadine will definitely not like if you see your appearance like this when she wakes up later".

"Don't you want to give your wife the best impression when she wakes up from her long slumber?".

Keenan looked at Mita while digesting every word from his wife's friend, Mita's words were true. Nadine must not see her appearance that looks very messy when she wakes up later. Maybe this time he should listen to the advice of Mita after several times rejecting the advice given by Jimmy.
