"Interesting!" The voice of the man behind sounded familiar.
The man also wore a ninja uniform, wearing a face veil like the others, but was equipped with a dark hooded robe like that of Shen Zhu.
"How did you find this mountain?" The man stepped slowly towards Shen Zhu while folding both his hands behind his back.
Shen Zhu did not reply. Just gazing into the man's eyes, the only part of the face that could be seen. However, somehow Shen Zhu felt familiar with that pair of eyes.
"During did not meet!" The man added as he pulled out a side of his hand and stuck Xiao Mao in his grip.
Shen Zhu blinked and gulped, but still put on a flat face despite the restless glitter of his eyes.
But Shen Zhu finally remembered where he had met the man.
The Bao Sect raid before leaving for the Knight Alliance Headquarters was led by this man. More than that, he also felt familiar with the aura of the man. At the final match of the Knight Trials, the man appeared with his armor and steel helmet covered.
The leader of the demon hunter army was also the leader of the mercenary group. How interesting! shen Zhu thought.
"Did you still not forget the old grudges?" ask the man again. "Or because of something else? Maybe a fate?"
Shen Zhu remained unmoved.
The man sighed softly and approached towards Shen Zhu. Taken one of the young man's hands and put Xiao Mao into his grasp.
Shen Zhu again blinked uneasily and gulped.
"If it wasn't for you breaking through the bloodline seal.." the man folded his hands again backwards and cleared his throat. "You must be dead!"
A bloodline seal was a protective seal that only certain descendants or destined people could break through. Can make the illusion of a region disappear from civilization and never found like the supernatural.
"Another reason that made me let you go a second time." the man stared back into Shen Zhu's eyes. "Because you once killed your own clan. That needs to be talked about."
"What do you mean?" Shen Zhu finally made a sound. Even if it is just a sharp whisper.
"You can break through the bloodline seal, doesn't this mean only one thing?"
"I don't understand!"
"You're bleeding Liu!" the man confirmed.
Shen Zhu spontaneously smiled wryly, then glanced towards the young man beside him. "He didn't bleed Liu" he said, then pointed backwards through the tail of his eyes. "So do some of the others!"
The ninja spontaneously turned to look across the bridge.
"But you didn't say that you didn't bleed Liu" said the Sicarii leader. "So do some of the others!" insinuations.
"Don't tell me the black flow comes from the dignified Liu clan," Shen Zhu muttered bitterly.
"What's wrong with that?" sergeant the Sicarii leader. "Our clan is destroyed by the voice of the people: The worship of the God of Catastrophe is a black stream. They said it themselves!"
"And you made it happen?" shen Zhu asked bitterly.
The Sicarii leader smiled bitterly. "The image still materializes even if we do nothing" he said. "Isn't it for that reason that the Liu clan was destroyed?"
"Although that's the case, you were quite successful in the Alliance!" shen Zhu Syndicate. Then raised his face, throwing a sharp glare at the Sicarii leader. "Don't think I don't recognize you!"
"We kill to survive" the Sicarii leader muttered in a slightly choked voice. "Disguised for revenge, rebelled secretly to turn things around. Wouldn't some coward prefer to be a slave? We are outnumbered!"
Shen Zhu bowed with a grim look.
"If I want to be cruel, other than you, the others can't come in!" The man added while pointing at the troupe across the bridge with his chin.
Shen Zhu glanced past his shoulder with a concerned look on his face.
"When I saw your cat for the first time, I already knew your destiny" I was Sicarii's leader.
"Welcome home!" The Sicarii leader patted Shen Zhu on the shoulder.
Shen Zhu raised his face and blinked.
"Because of your ignorance.I forgive you!" the man added as he turned around and led the way.
Shen Zhu was still unmoved, exchanging glances with the young man beside him.
"Because you took them, all of you I'm letting go in!" The Sicarii leader shouted without looking.
Shen Zhu nodded towards the young man beside him, hinting for the others to be brought in.
The young man turned around and rushed to pick everyone up, while Shen Zhu tailed behind the Sicarii leader.
"Call me Uncle Tang!" The Sicarii leader introduced himself.
They took the stone steps to the top of the mountain where there was an old gate that read: Liu Sect.
"Like to dislike me is Liu Hanzou's sister," the man added. "Your uncle!"
Shen Zhu gulped with difficulty. A warm and bitter feeling ambushed him.
"I know you have a lot of doubts and questions" the man turned his head. His pair of eyes glittered full of bitterness like the gaze of a father who was disappointed in his son. "But you must be tired. Just rest first."
Two ninjas greeted them near a low table as Liu Tang led Shen Zhu to a hut with a roof shaped like a kilin head with four shiny wooden pillars without walls like a gazebo that read: Guest House.
"Set up a few pavilions for everyone!" Liu Tang ordered as he pointed at the entourage at the foot of the hill.
Shen Zhu sat cross-legged in front of the tea table at the guesthouse and looked around.
Many cottages lined up and clustered with gardens arranged artistically like a kingdom.
"The lodges have been empty for a long time," Liu Tang told, as if he could read Shen Zhu's mind. "I build it up gradually every month."
Shen Zhu looked at the man who claimed to be his uncle with squinted eyes.
"I knew the Liu clan would return," Liu Tang explained.
Shen Zhu chuckled thinly and shook his head.
A ninja brought a pot of tea and poured it for them.
Shen Zhu glanced at the ninja and forced a smile.
"Some of them were taken from prison" Liu Tang said after the ninja left. "The prisoner who shouldn't."
"Shouldn't?" Shen Zhu did not understand.
"Like you were hunted as a fugitive of the Alliance!"
"I see," Shen Zhu again bowed and rubbed Xiao Mao's head.
The atmosphere felt awkward at the same time comfortable. A little doubt but more confidence.
"There's something I want to show you!" Liu Tang said after a long moment of silence. Then he walked up and led Shen Zhu to a large building that was closed by a metal double door.
The entire architecture was specially designed like a throne hall inside a kingdom.
"Zainan Temple!" Liu Tang floated one hand into the hall with a towering high dome, allowing Shen Zhu to enter after the double door was revealed. "It's where you're going to take the Heir Exam!"
Shen Zhu spontaneously stopped and turned towards the Sicarii leader with squinted eyes.
