The bushes trembled and the forest rumbled.

Tianba darted in a twisting motion in the air while swinging his sword.

A SLAAASSSH!

The forest birds were thrown and fell floundering on the forest floor along with at least dozens of small animals in the class of rabbits and squirrels.

Tianba landed and set foot again to then soar into the air and bounced back and forth while swinging his sword, cluttering the forest and attacking all the small beasts he thought were disturbing and blocking the way.

When he landed, the small beasts squeaked and fluttered. As it soared, the birds snapped and fell.

I don't know what he's trying to prove to those poor, innocent little animals. Throughout the journey Tianba had unceasingly slashed at anything he passed.

Maybe Tianba was upset because he never found a quarry. It could be just an action snob in front of Jialin.

Whatever he did seemed presumptuous and excessive.

So rash!

Jialin hobbled behind him, dry twigs creaking down on his heavy armor shoes. He lifted his face in the scorching sunlight while panting.

The crackling behind her made her turn around, but then sighed heavily.

A brown-white hairy ground squirrel snuck into the back of a pile of dried leaves.

Not monsters! Jialin groaned in his heart, then flicked his long hair and was carried partially to the back supported by a glamorous hair ornament made of twenty-four carats gold with the best jade beads. It is not suitable for monster hunting!

Tianba threw his sword towards the squirrel and instantly the squirrel sprawled and did not move anymore.

"It's almost dark," Jiangwu continued to complain behind them. "How long does it take? I'm so tired. Can't walk anymore!"

Tianba snorted annoyedly at the complaints of his comrade. "If it slows down again, how can it complete the mission?"

"I really want to rest" whined Jiangwu. "My feet can't do it anymore!"

"Spoiled base!" cebik Tianba without reducing his step speed. "A crybaby like you how can you pass the selection?"

"Sister!" jialin. "There is a river!" he shouted while pointing towards the valley. "Why don't we just rest for a minute?"

"All right!" tianba Sahut. His face changed quickly. "We will rest" he decided. Then lead Jialin towards the river.

Jiangwu secretly rolled his eyes with a look of disgust. And hurried to follow them.

The grass is wet by a waterfall splash. His third shoe slipped and they slipped.

Their steps had just reached the riverbank when someone shouted at them, "Sister! Stay away from the water! It's getting dark, it's not safe near the water!"

The three teenagers simultaneously turned to the source of the voice and found Shen Zhu bending over the top of the cliff while cupping his hands around his mouth to knock on the funnel. Bao Tiao stood next to him as she crossed paths with a flat expression.

"What galaxy's land?" grunts Jialin while raising her nose and ruffling her waist. "It turns out it's still a coward!"

Tianba smirked as he folded his hands in front of his chest in a scornful manner.

It was not until three seconds after Shen Zhu had warned them, the ground beneath them was already shaking. The river near them suddenly rumbled.

Jialin and his two comrades gasped and stammered, then looked back.

In the next instant, Jiangwu's shrill scream was swept away by the roar of water mixed with the wind, followed by the sound of a thunderous explosion.

YOAAARRRR!

River water rises with the appearance of a giant beast in the middle of the river.

"Importantly warned," Shen Zhu straightened his back and turned back to the river.

BRUSSHHH!

Jiangwu was thrown into the water.

Tiao was still frozen in place while straddling. Jialin's shrieks didn't make him frown. His face remained flat and did not care.

Shen Zhu stopped and turned to look at Tiao. Then look towards the river.

Something like an elephant's trunk was sticking up as high as a mountain behind him. The tip of her trunk was as bright as a sunflower, revealing sharp thorns like snake fangs.

"Hydra?" Tiao Mumbled. "Then, then…"

"Out of more than one!" sahut Shen Zhu cut Tiao's words.

And as soon as he finished saying it, other trunks were sticking out on the left-right of the first trunk.

"If one is slashed, the other two heads will grow in his place!" Shen Zhu added.

"It turns out to be more complicated than the Queen of Heaven!" scorn Tiao doesn't care. Then turn back to the river and walk slowly with both hands folded back.

"CHIAAAAAAAT!" jialin's screams bounced off the cliff wall. His body darted rapidly to and fro without any control. His sword whipped with a blind movement.

Tianba smirked on the other side between the other two whizzing proboscis.

Jiangwu thrashed around in the water with a buzzer.

YOAAARRRR!

YOAAARRRR!

Jialin finally managed to slash one proboscis with a spiral slash technique.

The piece of trunk was thrown into the water and hit Jiangwu's body.

Jiangwu was getting increasingly frayed. His hands and feet were scavenging uncontrollably, while his mouth was bobbing as he tried to scream.

When Jiangwu almost managed to pull himself to the surface of the water, Tianba also managed to slash one of the proboscis which then bounced and hit him as well.

In the end, Shen Zhu stopped his steps and sighed. Then turned around and shot towards the river.

Tiao turned his head and shook his head. I thought he wouldn't! he thought with a thin smile.

Jialin and Tianba had just landed by the river when the truncated beast trunk was revealed splitting apart.

"What?" pekik Jialin was surprised.

"Their heads grew in two after being slashed!" Tianba.

The two jerked back vigilantly, then re-installed the horses.

Meanwhile, Jiangwu was already squeezing in the water. Next to his hand was stretched out towards Tianba, shouting mutely among his consciousness that began to sink along with his body.

Tianba did not notice it. His gaze was fixated on the giant figure splitting away. So too with Jialin. The two froze without blinking with their heads turned up. Looked at the horrified view above their heads.

Simultaneously, a streak of red-colored light like a comet shot swiftly past them and pierced into the water.

Jialin and Tianba were suffocated together, then turned towards the river where the light fell.

The river changed like blood.

Jialin and Tianba inched back away from the river.

At the same time, the Hydra Mud Caterpillar had perfectly evolved and lunged towards them.

And before they could react, another beam of light shot over their heads.

A SLAAASSSH!

The burst of light hit the proboscis and froze it.

Jialin flinched and flabbergasted. Then turned to the top of the cliff and found his brother standing with one hand outstretched forward while the other hand folded behind his body.

Jialin blinked and gulped. Tianba turned his face and was stunned staring at the ice statue in the middle of the river.

Simultaneously, the ice statue suddenly shook. The river water is back. Then it exploded along with a tinge of light and chunks of ice.

Something shot out from the explosion to the top of the cliff.

Jialin and Tianba were again flabbergasted.

Shen Zhu landed beside Tiao while carrying Jiangwu's body.
