"Sir, did something happen to Liu's family heirloom?" bao Yu asked suddenly, frankly as usual, her voice sounded sinister.
The chief looked at him sharply. "I suggest you remember your position, Master Yu."
Bao Yu looked at the chief with restrained astonishment, slightly struck with her contempt. And most importantly, he had just been threatened with losing his position in the alliance.
"I'll tell you if all the heirloom items have been tested by the experts" the chief said in a loud voice as he turned around and walked towards the stairs.
"Master?" Bao Yu took one step towards the chief.
"What else?" The arrogant ruler shouted, pausing to glare at Bao Yu.
The entire room suddenly shook and rumbled. A strong wind was blown from the footrest of the alliance chairman.
Shen Zhu bounced to his knees, then fell down.
Bao Yu felt worried, shaken by this unexpected turn of events. Depressed by the aura of intimidation that ambushed the entire room.
Careful.
He did not dare to press his luck over the only thing that had just come out of the man's mouth that he believed to be a threat earlier. "Thank you for the time." Finally, only those words were able to be said.
His obedient words and his reassuring tone of voice seemed to calm the chairman down a bit, perhaps also alleviating his concerns regarding the ferocity of a theorist intent on making trouble.
"Sweet boy!" The chief muttered cynically.
Bao Yu was bowed grimly, stung by the statement that he regarded as an insult again.
From what he caught, this arrogant ruler did not take him seriously.
Alright. Let's see it later. With an extremely calm gaze, Bao Yu nodded lightly with an almost imperceptible fury.
The chairman turned around with a cold expression, then rushed out of the hall.
A while later, the bodyguard reappeared and showed Bao Yu a way out.
What exactly is going on? Bao Yu wondered in her heart as she pulled Shen Zhu up and led him on a slower-moving walk.
Something is wrong, but what?
Is there a problem that concerns the heirloom?
When they reached the spacious and magnificent grounds, they saw a woman dressed in all black complete with a hooded robe and a transparent black veil, was rushing in the driveway from the gate towards the garden-flanked courtyard with a dazed-looking teenage girl.
Shen Zhu blinked and gasped. Then he rushed towards the teenage girl while shouting, "Sister!"
Bao Yu and the mysteriously dressed woman gasped at Shen Zhu and the teenage girl alternately. Then suddenly and without warning, the two exchanged glances.
Shen Zhu had already rushed over and hugged his elder sister.
The mysterious clothed woman stopped, while Bao Yu approached them while slowing down.
"Teacher Jyang!" greet Bao Yu while linking her hands in front of her face and nod slightly towards the woman.
"Teacher Yu!" The woman greeted him with the same respect.
Then the two turned towards the orphaned brothers with concerned faces.
Liu Xie Ma was still unmoved with a blank stare, but did not scream and thrash like before. He looked up at the face of his sister who was a few inches above his head in confusion. "You…"
"Shen Zhu!" cut off Shen Zhu while pointing at his own nostrils. "Your sister!"
"Sister?" Xie Ma still looked confused. "You're dead!" his hissing was agitated. "Everyone is dead!"
"No, no!" Shen Zhu again put his brother on his shoulder. "I'm still alive."
Shen Zhu pulled her face again and scooped her brother's face with both hands, facing her brother's face to her face. "Look at me," he said excitedly. "I'm fine!"
"Xiao Zhu!" Suddenly Xie Ma was suffocating as if he had just realized that his sister was there, as if the boy had just appeared out of nowhere and landed in front of his eyes all of a sudden.
Shen Zhu smiled miserably and re-inserted his face on Xie Ma's shoulder.
The body of the teenage girl began to tremble, "Xiao Zhu," her sobs sounded softly.
"I want to go home," lamented Shen Zhu could no longer hold back.
"Foolish boy," whispered Xie Ma as he gently patted Shen Zhu's head. "We can't go home now. Maybe later."
Shen Zhu looked at her brother with eyebrows linked.
"It all depends on you" Xie Ma added. "You must become strong to rebuild Liu's sect. Your own Liu sect."
"Hmh!" Shen Zhu nodded with determination.
And for the first time since the destruction of their village, Xie Ma finally developed a smile. Then rubbed a tear on Shen Zhu's cheek with his knuckle. "Are you scared?" god forced a smile. "Sister?"
Shen Zhu smiled back. "No," he answered while wiping both of his cheeks.
Bao Yu and Jyang Yue exchanged glances again, then charged onto the park bench, trying to give time for the two brothers to let go of longing.
"Is Master Yu here for a meeting?" asked Jyang Yue in pleasantries.
"No," replied Bao Yu. "Did Teacher Jyang come for a meeting?" he asked back.
"No," replied Jyang Yue. "Of course not! Our school did not receive a meeting invitation. I heard it from the bodyguards," he explained as he glanced towards the gate.
Bao Yu's understanding smile widened.
"To be honest." Jyang Yue hung up his sentence and bowed down. "I just want to make sure that it's Liu's family heirloom…"
"Teacher Jyang is also investigating?" cut Bao Yu.
Jyang Yue spontaneously blinked and looked at Bao Yu with squinted eyes. "Teacher Yu too?" He asked back.
Bao Yu's spirit instantly rose, he looked at Jyang Yue with sparkling eyes. Expectantly. "Teacher Jyang," he said a little too enthusiastically. "Will you share what little you know about Liu's brothers with me? I was almost desperate" he said frankly. Then he lowered his voice while bowing and covering his mouth with one hand, "And just so you know, I just asked for permission to inspect Liu's family heirloom, but the Chairman won't allow it."
"You also came to check on Liu's heirloom?" Jyang Yue flabbergasted.
Bao Yu let out a short sigh, "I suspect that there is something very mysterious that continues to bother Liu Shen Zhu who may be from his family heirloom," he explained in a soft mutter.
"Teacher Yu is indeed not mistaken," I'm Jyang Yue. "I've dug up some of Liu Xie Ma's memories and found many interesting things. Even before the boy passed all the exams. Their families are not simple. I know a little about Liu Hanzou."
"Liu Hanzou?" Bao Yu frowned. Feel familiar with that name. Then suffocate. "That guy…"
"Yes!" sahut Jyang Yue's. "The Grave Digger."
The Grave Digger was one of the most feared figures in the spiritual martial world.
Who would have thought he died this way?
Dig his own grave!
"There's no way he died that easily, right?" hiss Bao Yu was not sure.
"I don't want to believe it either" Jyang Yue said. "But that's what I got after digging up Liu Xie Ma's memories. The last heirloom he brought brought was a catastrophe."
"You mean.." Bao Yu frowned again. "The destruction of the village also has something to do with Liu's heirloom?"
Jyang Yue smiled faintly behind her veil, then looked at Bao Yu, "Do you think?" his question is meaningful.
