"Devil! The devil!"
Xie Ma's head twitched uneasily on the pillow, his tiny body stiffening under the thin blanket.
Thousands vampires!

Thousands of bats, perhaps hundreds of thousands of bats, burst into rapid encirclement of the dormitory and flew around in circles on the roof of the building forming a dark, rumbling vortex.
The teachers ran out of the classroom doors with their students.
The students who were training outside ran to and fro shouting in fear.
"Where did these bats come from?" screeched a teacher as he looked up to observe the suddenly dark sky.
"That's not a bat!" another teacher warned. "That's a flock of vampires!"
"Save disciples! Take them all to the hall!" shouted the other teacher.
And before everyone could react, the storm of bats had already swooped towards the crowd.
Bao Yu and Jyang Yue shot into the middle while throwing dome-shaped light energy to stem the bat storm.
YOAAARRR!
YOAAARRRR!
The first strike was repelled, but along with it, a wave of bats lunged on the other side.
The female disciples were screaming hysterically while running to and fro.
Two teachers shot out the same dome-shaped light energy towards the dark vortex to protect their students.
"Hurry up!" a teacher shouted at the female students while holding back the protective manna he had just thrown.
The other teachers darted into the middle of the vortex while swinging their swords.

The chief and the elders burst out from the throne hall, then shrieked in surprise at the tempest.
Bao Yu bounced around in the midst of the siege while swinging his sword to and fro to dispel all the attacks.
Jyang Yue and Xie Ma were wriggling behind him while moving agilely in a deadly dance, swinging their swords in the opposite direction.
The bat strikes from various directions. But the more it is eradicated, the more it comes.
"They are too many!" yang Yue shouted as she flicked her sword at full force.

A number of bats flinched and scattered.
Xie Ma was thrown when a follow-up attack struck unexpectedly.
"Xie Ma!" jyang Yue screamed as he darted towards Xie Ma. But before he managed to reach his disciple, a storm of bats struck him again from another direction and threw him further and further out of Xie Ma's reach.
Xie Ma fell strung and dragged for several meters, while his sword was also thrown out of nowhere.
A swarm of flying bats swooped towards the girl.
Xie Ma screamed as he crossed his hands in front of his face.
Right at that moment, someone shot towards Xie Ma and stemmed the attack with a dome-shaped burst of light.
GLAAAAARRRH!
The whirlwind of the bat was swept away in an instant.
Xie Ma lowered his hands and gasped.
A young man stood in front of Xie Ma while holding back the protective manna to fortify the girl.
Bao Yu and Jyang Yue spontaneously turned their heads towards them.
"A Hua!" yelled Bao Yu. "Why just myself? Where are the others?"
"We're here!" shouted someone from above their head while swinging the sword in a twisting motion in the air.

Tan Liu and Tan Nuo landed in front of Bao Yu while unsheathing the sword.
Three other students, Lian Ze, Zhang Junda and Zhen Juan, followed.
"Where is Shen Zhu?" bao Yu shouted as she catapulted her body into the air and shot out a circular light energy.

A swarm of bats exploded swept away by that storm of light.
"We haven't seen Brother since morning!" lim Hua replied as he wriggled to fend off the attacks here and there while his one hand clasped Xie Ma's wrist.
Tan Liu and Tan Nuo work together to protect them.
On the other hand, Jyang Yue pulled up his body quickly and swung his sword again.

A bat managed to get rid of it.
