About a legion of Knight Alliance soldiers surrounded Zainan Mountain outside the blood covenant runes. They're trying to destroy the realm.

Only one person can break through the runes, Yanxi thought. He has Liu's blood! He concluded. Then watch over the knight in front of that gate with eyes squashed.

Shi Tan ran out of patience. Furious he shot out a sickle-shaped light energy towards the knight and instantly the dove elf slipped out of the knight's grip.

The pigeon fairy fell down in a downturned position, then pulled up her body while coughing.

"Who are you really?" Yanxi asked the knight with a suspicious look.

The knight again grinned, then folded his hands back and stepped slowly into the middle of the siege.

Everyone shuffled a step back vigilantly.

The knight took off his steel helmet.

Everyone gasped and held their breath.

Turns out the Alliance Chairman!

It was only fitting that he could break through the runes! thought Yanxi.

Only gods can break through the protective realm.

Mount Zainan. A strong wind rumbled across the place.

White hair and the Alliance Leader's armor robe fluttered.

Everyone around him just froze. The whole movement was locked.

Jyu Jieru, the handsome bald-headed man from the Taoist school forced himself to concentrate, recite a mantra and fold one of his legs above the knees of the other leg. Then his body started to float. A magic circle was created behind his body.

The Alliance Leader glanced at him while grinning. "Want to defy a god with god projections?" taunted. "Truly a dream in broad daylight!"

Yanxi leaped backwards in the stance of the horses, then moved his palms and fingers in front of his chest.

A magic circle was created beneath his feet on the ground.

The Alliance Chief turned to him and chuckled.

The others did the same, putting up the horses and preparing their respective techniques.

The Alliance Chairman remained unmoved. He showed no reaction that he felt threatened.

Qianxi and Li Qinfeng exchanged glances, then lunged at them simultaneously while drowning out their fists.

The Alliance Leader smiled obliquely, then extended his hand forward.

Qianxi and Li Qinfeng instantly bounced off before being able to touch the Alliance Leader.

Shi Tan jumped while swinging his two swords with a distinctive move. A scythe-shaped gush of light crossed out from the swing of his sword.
