The God of Cataka

"Now how are you going to deal with it?" Shen Zhu hissed between rumbling sounds and light waves. His voice sounded like a flood in the distance.

The needles slid like rain, but each needle spouted transparent dome-shaped light energy according to its own color. More like jellyfish that burst into groups on coral reefs. Or a meteor shower.

Qianxi stayed put, not dodging at all. "Faster still!" hardiknya while crashing the rain projectile, running fast while swinging his fists dispel all attacks.

"This girl is like a spring!" emperor's Comments.

"Facing a fierce attack like this is very detrimental if only to survive!" qianxi growled without reducing her fist speed.

He really did not do any defense at all, Shen Zhu thought. "Alright," he said as he brandished his sword again overhead, then channeled the lightning element to the tip of his sword. The lightning rope gushed out like a laser beam up to ten meters high.

The arena again shook and rumbled, more stormy than ever.

"A very strong pressure!" pekik the event guide.

The knights added personnel to strengthen the protective veil.

"What a terrible power," murmured a jury.

"This aura.." The Emperor gulped. "Don't." he hung up his sentence and let it evaporate.

"You're not avoiding this slash either?" snapping Shen Zhu.

The arena shook getting bigger. A strong wind pressed down on the entire place.

Qianxi grinned and bowed in the stance of the horses, then smacked her fists again into the palms. "Just be free" he scoffed. "A tickling attack like this will only turn into my luck!"

In a potentially fatal situation, he might not have dodged! Shen Zhu was inexhaustible. Stay attacking and blind.

With hesitation, Shen Zhu swung his sword towards Qianxi.

YOAAARRRR!

Thunderbolts blared at the tip of his sword.

The arena floor exploded like it was hit by another planet.

The knights bounced.

Qianxi was thrown backwards to hit the wall. The wall exploded and Qianxi fell to her knees with both shoulders hanging limply on the side of her curved body almost tore down. He coughed and spewed out a lump of blood. Then he lifted his body and staggered. "More powerful!" the hardenings jerked his hands together and clenched again.

What the hell's going on? shen Zhu thought. He's obviously been hurt, but he's getting stronger!

"Is this girl crazy?" screech a jury. "Truly fight by risking lives!'

"I've put all my strength into it" said Shen Zhu.

"I'm not sure you've put in the whole thing!' Qianxi chuckled cynically. "Have it done" he said provokingly. "Don't give up again. Take out all your most powerful moves!"

"Number Two—" Shen Zhu blinked and stuttered. "If you keep fighting like this, your life will be threatened."

"What did you say?" Qianxi glared impatiently. "If this is a battlefield, you must seize the opportunity to kill me, not even be merciful!"

Fighting desperately? shen Zhu thought while throbbing and shaking his head.

"If your perception of the fight is so childish, on the battlefield only your body will be left!" qianxi shouted as she slammed her fists onto the floor.

YOAAARRRR!

The arena floor exploded again. This time it was accompanied by a mysterious roar with a pressure-filled aura.

Shen Zhu frowned. Could it be...this was the last move he had never taken out all this time? He wondered in his heart.

The floor is shaking increasingly.

The knights put on the protective veil again. This time it was made in layers.

The man in armor with a covered steel helmet who claimed to be the representative of the Demon Hunt Division until intervened.

The hole created from the impact of Qianxi's fist emitted a dark smoke which then whirled around him. His fist was still on the floor. His facial expression turned flat and cold. The tail of his eyes was spouting dark smoke. His eyes turned dark, his irises lit up red.

Shortly after, something popped off the floor. Like a golden pillar the size of a palm tree trunk. The pillar crawled up to as high as the pillars of the arena building. Underneath it like a dome. Then the pole started to tilt and fell over.

All strangled and flabbergasted.

A giant mace was on the floor of the arena.

"The God of War!" the elders chuckle almost simultaneously.

"It turns out this girl is also the heirloom of a god!" bao Yu muttered in the bleachers.

Shen Zhu extended his sword upwards and quickly channeled the dense, smoke-shaped dark energy that in an instant gushed into the tip of his sword and continued to extend to form a giant, double-edged sword shaped like a fish fin.

The arena swayed like it was about to spill.

The spectators held their breaths with paled faces. Their eyes did not blink staring at Shen Zhu's gigantic sword.

"It's just a tournament" an official muttered agitatedly. "Do you have to get to this stage?"

Jyang Ryu scanned Shen Zhu's sword with his gold-colored Double Eyes, peering through the sidelines of his middle and index fingers. Any more? his mind is not out of thought. Again he brought out a mysterious god skill. And again Jyang Ryu could not see the identity of the god behind him.

Qianxi stuck one of her hands to the side with fingers forming claws. His palm shot out a light glittering like lightning.

The arena rumbled and rattled.

The giant mace trembled and lifted slowly.

Qianxi pulled up her body and the mace was lifted up.

Shen Zhu took a deep breath and put up the horses, grasping his sword with both hands on the sides of his face.

A second later, the arena was pounding as if the earth was about to explode.

The spectators froze in horror.

The battle was fierce with energy a hundred times greater than before. The battle period increased drastically.

The protective veil began to crack, and the elders finally descended to strengthen the defense.

"Only two teenagers who haven't even turned twenty yet" one official grumbled. "But to the point of bringing down so many people to put it down."

"It's not just a fight between teenagers" another official said. "But also the fight between the strongest fellow participants!"

Not just the strongest! Bao Hu added in his heart. But a duel between fellow heirlooms of the god heirloom!

YOAAARRRR!

YOAAARRRR!

The arena was completely ravaged by tempests.

Shortly thereafter, a bright burst of light burst forth with an enormous explosion. Like two mountains at once.

The arena only looked white for a long time.

And as the light began to dim, the arena floor looked like the rest of the mountain that had been torn apart.

Shen Zhu's sword was broken.

Qianxi slumped in a hole that looked like a dry lake. His giant cudgel was barking at the side of the arena, several meters from its spot.

Shen Zhu stood his head down on the edge of the hole where Qianxi was kneeling.

"Fight over!" The show's host announced in a choked voice. "Number Seven-seven wins!"

The spectators blinked for a moment, before finally cheering and clapping. Some jumped while brandishing fists into the air.

For the second time, Shen Zhu left the arena with a grim countenance. But times were not because his opponent was disappointing.
