"Sister!" Xiao Mao took the side of Shen Zhu's arm in a childish style. "Although you are already the strongest Spiritual Master in the human world, you still cannot be rash. After all the Knight Alliance was very influential for the survival of mankind."

They had just stepped out of the gate of the Blood Covenant Land and walked slowly down the stone steps towards the footpath at the foot of the hill.

"You know? Master Yu sacrificed himself to prevent you from attacking the higher-ups of the alliance for this reason" Xiao Mao told.

Shen Zhu glanced at Xiao Mao, then bowed looking at the stone steps he was treading with a grim expression. The guilt lodged in the recesses of his soul slipped out through the sidelines of his heart that began to roar.

"So this time everything needs to be taken into account" Xiao Mao persuaded. "At the same time you just woke up. You still need to practice to recover."

Shen Zhu glanced at Xiao Mao once more and forced a smile. "I understand," he said. "Then it's time to go home to the Bao Sect!" He decided.

"Wait!" Xiao Mao restrained Shen Zhu's shoulder as the man nearly soared into the air.

Shen Zhu groaned and twisted his eyeballs. "What else?" His body tilted to the side as a result of Xiao Mao's pull.

"Science lightens the body and teleportation can drain a lot of spiritual energy," Xiao Mao persuaded as he sank spoiled in Shen Zhu's arm. "We're on foot" he whined. "In addition to saving spiritual energy, walking can also improve blood circulation, help recovery, increase muscle strength—"

"Alright, alright!" cut Shen Zhu impatiently.

"After all," Xiao Mao added with a carefree and excited expression of a little girl. "Walking can disguise the aura of a god! After all you are close to becoming a god, your aura can suppress a quarter of the human realm. You don't want the human clan to be scattered by your recklessness, do you?"

"I already understand," Shen Zhu whispered with an annoyed smile.

Xiao Mao smiled broadly at the cheerfulness of a child.

"Now keep your face away!" shen Zhu whispered again in a soft and sharp tone. His body was still leaning towards Xiao Mao with their nostrils almost touching.

Xiao Mao froze with wide eyes and mouth clenched. Both of his hands were still wriggling on Shen Zhu's shoulders.

"Your face is interfering with my breathing" Shen Zhu added.

Xiao Mao pulled his hands together so quickly that Shen Zhu almost fell backwards.

"You—" Shen Zhu growled stifled and sighed heavily. Then straightened his body and rushed down the stairs with a sharp look on his face.

Xiao Mao lined it up as he puffed his cheeks and folded his hands back.

After they walked down the path leading to the nearby village, Xiao Mao glanced at Shen Zhu silently with a childish timid expression.

Shen Zhu noticed it and almost burst into laughter.

Shen Zhu had just extended a hand, about to wipe Xiao Mao's head while holding a smile, when suddenly there was a commotion.

The voices!

The voices were getting louder, carried away by the wind.

Rhythmless voices.

Shen Zhu's hands froze reaching for empty air, his smile instantly disappearing. He put his ears on alert, fixated in the darkness of the forest, as if suddenly turned to stone.

Xiao Mao looked around. Check every corner of the forest carefully. Both of his eyes lit up green in the dark of the forest.

Those unrhythmic noises did not come from anywhere near here. The wind flew him from the village at the end of the path in front of them.

"Burn the devil!"

"Burn the devil!"

The loud noises echoed among other rowdy voices. There was a crunching and squealing sound.

Dark smoke soared high with sparks that spread the fishy smell of burning.

Shen Zhu closed his eyes and fused his eyebrows together while sticking the tip of his index and middle fingers between his eyebrows. Then open his eyes. Both of his eyes were red. His eyelids and tail were spitting out flames.

The black-and-white image fragment cluttered in his vision as if he was flying through a dark forest through a row of trees. The crowd was milling around at the end of the forest in the form of silhouettes against the background of the flames.

Three black blurred figures slumped in the middle of the siege between sharp gunpoint.

Not a burning demon! shen Zhu thought. "Xiao Mao!" he said hurriedly while extending a side of his hand towards Xiao Mao. "Change!"

Xiao Mao leaped from his spot in the form of a puma silhouette, then landed on Shen Zhu's chest as a small cat.

Simultaneously, Shen Zhu shot towards the village at the speed of a comet.

BLAAASSH!

A strong wind blew through the entire village to a radius of hundreds of meters when Shen Zhu landed on the roof of a house.

People are thrown here and there. Screams of fear raged against the cliff walls.

The three dark figures that were kneeling in the middle of the crowd he had seen from a distance earlier looked up in unison towards Shen Zhu trembling. Then fall down, "God!"

Everyone flinched and followed their directions.

The three men consisted of a father, a mother and an eleven-year-old boy.

Five burly men in armor typical of spiritual monster hunters pointed spears at them.

Shen Zhu bowed scrutinizing the entire place under his feet while rubbing the head of his little cat. He covered his head with a dark cloak.

Everyone looked up at him dumbfoundedly. Some were wriggling trying to pull his body up here and there.

A house was on fire and was half extinguished due to the strong wind caused by Shen Zhu's aura.

Shen Zhu swung his hand with his fingers together, and instantly the rest of the fire was extinguished completely.

Everyone was stunned and gasped at the house, then stammered at Shen Zhu.

The five burly men squinted their eyes with displeased faces.

Shen Zhu floated down and landed in the middle of them in front of the three kneeling people. They were the owners of the burned house.

The five men inched a step back in an alert manner.

Suddenly one of them laughed.

Everyone simultaneously turned to the man with a frown.

"Damn!" the man is grieving. "Where's the Rancid boy from?" his grunts are scornful. "Just surprised. Where do I think the gods are from. It turned out to be only a Tier Three Knight!"

"What?" People simultaneously murmured.

"Tier Three Knights alone dare to act!" scorned the other burly man. "Silly!"

The married couple kneeling beneath him exchanged glances with frowns.

Everyone stared at Shen Zhu with their eyebrows linked.

Shen Zhu remained unappetizing. His hand rubbed his little cat's head in a gentle and calm motion. "Say, what do you want to die like?" ask without the slightest burden.

The five burly men simultaneously broke down.
