A TRAAAAANG!
A TRAAAAANG!
YOAAARRRR!
Tianjin flew around and bounced around amidst a puff of dust smoke and the turmoil of the battle between humans and wolf monsters. Each swing of his sword left a dim light. Each of his movements left a strong wind that made the entire place look like a storm between lightning.
Xiao Mao accompanied the boy as he slammed his way around while swinging his claws.
But the more wolves were defeated, the more came.
Why does it feel like decapitating a hydra-type monster? shen Zhu thought. Not true! He realized.
Shen Zhu took out his sword, and the entire place rumbled into a violent wind. The ground under their feet shook. Mountain rocks fall like an eruption.
The world seems to be turned upside down. Rumbled and shook getting bigger.
Everyone was shouting like crazy as if the world was doomsday.
Shen Zhu landed on the top of one of the rock hills and stuck out his sword.
A magic formation created from the tip of his sword formed a transparent roof that shaded everyone.
Everyone looked up and flabbergasted.
Dark smoke shot out through the crack in the rock surface where the sword was stuck, forming a huge tornado-like vortex, then giving rise to chain-shaped tendrils like sponges at the bottom of the ocean.
A gigantic, dark-robed body hooded with a chain strand wrapped around his waist and shoulders like a scarf emerged from that tornado-like dark vortex, like a twin of Shen Zhu in gigantic size.
Shen Zhu knelt under the giant's feet, frozen clutching the hilt of his sword with both hands, his head bowed under the hood of his robe like he was saluting the giant.
Before long the giant raised both his hands in front of his chest, placed the tip of the flute on his dark lips, playing a mysterious music that set up the feathers of the crouch. Sweet and horrible at the same time. His voice was shrill like a war signal, yet soft-pitched like a lullaby.
All creatures were stunned. It froze as if it suddenly turned into stone.
The dark chains that wrapped around the giant waist and shoulders extended and spread all over the place passing through the empty gaps between the crowd like smoke tendrils, then wrapped around all the monsters like thin scarves.
The slashing music flowed ever softer but more piercing, rendering the monsters helpless. So does everyone.
The five God Pillar towers in the Base City that became the stronghold of the Knight Alliance as well as the border between the demon and human territories lit up simultaneously like flares.
The knights in the Base City reacted like they got an emergency call.
The Alliance Headquarters was suddenly rowdy by the extreme rush of seeing the omen. Some were sent to find out what happened.
The flaming pillar of God signifies the descent of the god. Yet the five god pillar temples bound to the Knight Alliance were all lit up.
The appearance of five gods at once could shake the world.
Everyone could see the pillars of light piercing through the sky, making an uproar over the entire region.
"This.." Xie Ma muttered as he frowned. Then exchanged a glance with Juang Ryu.
A moment later, Jyang Ryu had already darted out of the hall. Some elders followed him.
Bao Yu and Jyang Yue in the Bao Sect also darted out without a cue.
"Is it just my feeling?" muttered one of the guards of the Blood Covenant Land. "There seems to be the appearance of a god outside the Promised Hill."
All the elders in every sect, all the priests in every temple, everyone who understood reacted equally in the entire place except for Zainan Temple.
Their only eleven-year-old holy priest remained seated cross-legged in the lotus position, remaining calm and unperturbed.
Since the holy priest was a child, the people of the Liu clan judged Jingwei to have not understood anything. Then they started to denounce Jingwei.
The villagers stormed the temple and began to make it difficult for the guards. They were clamoring outside the double doors of metal that bound them with the temple where Jingwei was training.
"Do something!" wail them.
"Five gods will come down!"
Jingwei smiled faintly and shook her head. Then it pokes empty air. A ball of light the size of a marble shot out from his fingertip towards the door.
GRAAAKKK!
The double metal door opened.
The residents almost burst in.
But Jingwei knew that she was standing in the doorway against them.
The boy was dressed as a monk, complete with sticks and beads. Standing quietly facing everyone who suddenly froze with his appearance. "Nothing needs to be done" he said expressionlessly. "No god will come down!"
"You clearly don't understand anything!" An old man shouted while pointing his index finger at the bald-headed boy who was touted as the candidate of the God Pillar Knight in a reproachful manner.
Jingwei just turned her head towards the old man, and the entire place was suddenly blown by a strong wind that made everyone instantly speechless.
"Master is running a grand formation," Jingwei told, then turned around and returned to his place. Simultaneously, the double doors behind him simultaneously closed and jerked everyone.
"Large formation?" An old monk frowned. A number of other monks murmured in the courtyard.
The residents stared at them with demanding glare.
"The great formation was only done for one thing," one of the elder monks told them. "Sending monsters out or back to the Divine Jungle."
"I'll check it out!" A ninja from the shadow guard group volunteered. And then disappeared in an instant.
Arriving at the border region of the Bao Sect and the Majusi Sect, the ninja settles quietly on the tree branch, watching the village in the valley from a hidden place.
A number of other ninjas shot as light as the wind in some other hidden places.
They are not the Liu clan, thought the shadow bodyguard. Then glanced at the plate hanging in the belt of one of the ninjas. Alliance Knights! it's in the heart.
The ninja with the Knight Alliance's plates moving his hands gave a number of instructions in sign language.
The shadow guard followed them silently. Then it reached the hiding place closest to Shen Zhu's position. He watched the ninjas vigilantly. But until this far, they had also just been silent and observing.
The giant figure better known in the term of god projection was still playing a flute that made anyone who heard it hypnotized.
All around him, wolf monsters were settling up from the ground in coils of chains that were whistling like scarves, floating lightly like floating in water.
One by one the monsters evaporated and left only dark smoke.
The ninja with the Knight Alliance plates moved his hands again, then simultaneously all the ninjas he led turned around to leave the place.
Spy division! The shadow guard from the Liu clan concluded. So decided to follow them.
