Shen Zhu sat cross-legged in front of the dining table with his cheeks leaning against his fists, and his elbows propped up on the table.
An empty plate was lying in front of him along with an empty glass. His index finger twitched in front of his cat's scratching nose while sniffing the tip of the index that still smelled of the fish and tried to bite it but never succeeded.
Shen Zhu twisted his index finger every time the cat almost managed to stick out its fangs, while his mind floated around.
The words of the Holy Elders of the Blood Sect yesterday afternoon rendered him inexhaustible the entire day.
Against sky? What defies the sky? He wondered in his heart. I'm just looking for a ride! his mind is a little irritated.
"The Hunter God has descended to the Promised Hill," said the holy elder of the gatekeepers of the Blood Covenant Land. "Finding you!"
In the Knight Alliance, there were seven major gods who were exalted. One of them is the Hunter God. The Hunter God was the guardian god of the Divine Jungle and the spiritual beast. The ruler of the forest in the Promised Land where Shen Zhu obtained his fellow monsters.
"Young man," another holy elder chimed in. "I don't know what you're doing in another dimension. But try to remember again. Worryingly.. You did something that defies the sky?"
"Could it be.. This has something to do with the person I let go of?" Shen Zhu was stunned with a frown.
"Omong empty!" the other holy elders. "We talked about this and investigated it. The last time the portal was opened, the Hunter God only sent spiritual beasts. No one has entered the Divine Forest for the past three hundred years!"
"Young man," another holy elder chimed in. "The Land of the Covenant protected illusion magic. Although there are humans there. You shouldn't have seen it."
"You said you were unconscious" the gatekeeper's holy elder reminded. "Special to this one. I guess. you're just hallucinating!"
Hallucinations said? Shen Zhu bowed grimly. I lost my consciousness for helping him! the argument is in the heart. But I dare not say it. Such a way of healing should remain secret.
"That's great!" bao Yu muttered after the holy elders left. "Finally you really become a sky-level troublemaker" he said in an ironic tone. "Not officially a knight has offended a god!"
"Teacher!" Shen Zhu finally blinked and raised his face, staring at his teacher across the table. Spontaneously, his index stopped moving.
The little cat caught it with its mouth and bit it to the point of bleeding.
Shen Zhu clasped his hands and looked back at his teacher. Then he was amazed to see a thin dark smoke seep out from his teacher's chest, which was slowly sucked into the wound at the tip of his index finger. "You hurt?" hisses worry.
All eyes around the table simultaneously rolled towards Bao Yu.
A flashback of events when Bao Yu repelled Bao Yun's sword flashed across their heads.
"Chairman Yun—" Tiao screeched restrainedly.
"Only minor injuries," Bao Yu charged as he flicked his hand at a glance. "Continue!" he said to Shen Zhu.
Shen Zhu blinked and gulped. Then it was stunned for a moment before continuing, "What would happen if someone did something that defies the heavens?"
Everyone simultaneously blinked and glanced at him.
"God will descend beyond the Hill of Covenant" replied Bao Yu.
The entire room simultaneously held its breath.
The appearance of a god outside the Promised Hill could destroy a single region.
"That's fuckin!" comments by Lian Ze. "If the Hunter God were to descend, we would all be finished!"
"Origin is not the God of Catastrophe!" tukas Lim Hua's. "If the God of Cataclysm were to descend, the novel would also be finished!"
The whole room stiffened.
"What kind of action defies the heavens according to the Law of the Divine Jungle?" Shen Zhu asked again.
"In the Law of the Divine Jungle applies only one ethic," Bao Yu pointed his index finger at the side of his face. "Never blaspheme a god!"
"It applies in all the laws of the universe!" exchange Shen Zhu.
"Then you know what acts blaspheme the gods!" sergeant Bao Yu.
Lim Hua grinned, "It turns out he's pretty smart," he sneered. "Just a little sluggish!"
The other disciples hissed with laughter.
"I remember!" sergeant Shen Zhu quickly lowered his hand again to the table. "Calling the name of the god justly, peppering his law, tainting his temple—but.." Shen Zhu hung up his sentence for a moment. His forehead is back in a rug. "Is there also a temple in the wilderness?"
"Sure" said Bao Yu. "Wherever in every place, throughout the universe there are always temples of gods. Even in the world of illusion. In the wilderness, it was some sort of sacred place or forbidden area that restricted runes!"
Rune is the general term of the world of spiritual masters to mention the mysterious symbols contained on the magic formation circles and seals.
"What if it's not intentional?" Shen Zhu scratched his temple that did not feel itchy.
Bao Yu spontaneously turned her head towards Shen Zhu with squinted eyes. "So you did break the laws of the heavens?" the question is half growling.
Shen Zhu laughed uneasily as he rubbed the back of his head again. "I'm not sure" he replied in an indistinct murmur. "I don't remember seeing any runes. But I remember I was mired into a hole at the top of a mountain with a godly aura!"
"That's it!" Bao Yu closed the conversation. "Knight's Examination soon, you guys will have to practice with mounts to adapt."
His students nodded simultaneously. Then start moving one by one. Partly tidying the table, part washing the feeding device. Some cleaning the kitchen. Then start practicing with their respective mounts.
Shen Zhu was still stunned.
Time pass…
The Knight examination is only a matter of days.
While his elder brothers had already begun to adapt to their respective mounts, Shen Zhu and his cat still stuck with the agenda of fighting over fish and chasing.
Disorganizing the kitchen and dining room.
Bao Yu could only sigh and massage his temples looking at the chaos every day.
If so, usually Shen Zhu would approach him. He led her to the tea table and sat her there. Pouring the tea and massaging her shoulders followed her little cat on the other side.
Yep! His little cat also massaged Bao Yu's shoulder!
"You're both little troublemakers who are good at seducing!" erang Bao Yu could not hide his amused smile.
In the end, his little monster companion only further added to the chaos.
The elders did not dare to comment.
The Treasure of the Promised Land! thought they were helpless.
Till…
When the Knight Trials were about to begin, Shen Zhu and his fellow monsters were still fighting over fish and playing chases while everyone was already waiting in the grounds, preparing to depart.
Everyone's eyes and heads rolled here and there following their movements.
At one time Shen Zhu was seen chasing after his cat, at another time his cat was chasing after Shen Zhu.
Occasionally they are seen darting or bouncing on the roof of the dormitory.
Every now and then they burst out among the crowd and messed up the ranks.
Sometimes they pass in front of everyone. Then it disappeared at the end of the alley, and appeared again in the other alley.
"Haish!" erang Elder Yun while massaging the temple and shaking his head.
"Truly unreliable!" gerutu teacher Jialin.
Jialin hissed holding back the laughter behind his teacher while smothering his mouth with fingers.
