Joddy forgot how long he hadn't gone on a pilgrimage to the tomb, but from today it seems like the tomb is a place that she will often visit because that place will always remind her of the person she loves.
The orange sky of the sun has begun to shift to the west indicating that the night will soon arrive. The burial area had begun to be quiet, but did not discourage Joddy's intention to remain on pilgrimage at the tomb.
Joddy put Yasin's finished book he read on his lap. Then his eyes stared softly at the tomb which was still studded with fresh flowers on it.
"At this point I never thought we were really apart." Joddy rubbed the tombstone inscribed with the gold ink, there is a name that will always make his heart break every memory of him.
"You will always be in the hearts of those who love you, especially Ken." Joddy took a deep breath, he looked up holding back desperately so that tears would not drip at both corners of his eyes. He did not want to look weak in front of the tomb of this loved one.
"I will never make them forget you, for you always have a place in their hearts." Including in Joddy's heart, the owner of this tombstone will always be in one part in his heart.
Years of knowing and being with the owner of a tombstone during his life, making it will not be easy to forget just like that. Many stories and memories of both joy and sorrow that they have experienced and it will always be remembered in the heart of Joddy.
"Thank you for giving a kid as handsome and as good as Ken. I promise I'll take good care of them both . I will continue your duty to look after them. I promise to make them happy until they forget how to be sad. I'll make them laugh until they forget how to cry." Joddy has said the same promise in this place even at different times.
"I'm so happy because God gave me a tiny baby though" Without feeling Joddy's eyes were wet with tears.
"Even if you haven't touched and held her." And you can never do that until anytime.
"She will definitely grow up as a strong, kind and easy-to-love woman just like her mother." Joddy sprinkled the rest of the flowers in a plastic bag.
"I'll never ask them to forget you. You will always have a place in your heart. You will always be called in every prayer." Joddy smiled then rubbed the rows of letters that were imprinted on the tombstone.
"Thank you for teaching me how to love and care for someone who deserves to be treated that way." Joddy smiled even though he knew the tombstone owner would never see him again.
Suddenly the originally calm wind suddenly blew fiercely along with the dried flowers and leaves falling, as if indicating it was the answer of the owner of the tombstone in the tomb. Joddy was stunned did he hear that? Heard everything he said?
"Bang!"
A pat on the shoulder made Joddy flinch in shock then look back and find a young man standing not far from him.
"Why Fer?" joddy asked when he saw his sister looking panicked.
"Come back to the hospital. Mother phone, Ma'am Kana nyariin lo."
"In a minute" said Joddy.
"Yes hunt! I've been horror here for a long time!" ferddy exclaimed as he passed away leaving Joddy who chose to stay beside the tomb.
"You know, Ian. I almost lost Kana, and I don't know what it would be like if I really lost her. Thank you for giving him back to me."
Joddy rubbed once again the tombstone that read the letter 'Adrian Hanafi Rusman' and smiled.
" I'm going first. But I'll be back with Kana and the kids. I'll introduce you to a beautiful and adorable little baby. I'm sure you'll fall in love with him right away. Thanks again, calm down." Joddy got up from his seat and slowly left Adrian's tomb to go home to Kana, his soulmate.
*
Joddy was stunned as he opened the door of Kana's nursery. His gaze was immediately fixed on the scenery that he thought was very beautiful, beating the beauty of the scenery of the beach, mountains or stars scattered in the sky. The sight was of Kana cradling her tiny baby, the flesh and blood of Joddy.
Joddy still can't believe he's really a father. Ever since she heard her daughter's first cry there she felt very, very lucky because God was so kind to her.
"Where are you, Jod! His wife was left behind!" jihan's nagging once knew Joddy was dumbstruck at the door.
"There's a need for a minute, ma'am." Joddy hurriedly entered the room and greeted his mother and father-in-law.
"Pity, Cana!" yell Jihan again.
Kana looked at Joddy and the moment their sight met there was a faint tremor they felt. Happy, unbelief and love.
"sorry. How's it? Did you eat?" tanya Joddy approached Kana's bed.
"Udah is good but not sure yet!"
It was not Kana who said it but Kanda who had been holding Ken who had fallen asleep because of fatigue.
All eyes stared in annoyance at Kanda who was smiling carelessly after teasing her in-laws.
"Gendheng boy!" maya exclaimed to her eldest child .
Kanda just told him to remember something. "Na, you know what? This Bucin cried when he knew you had fainted. Crazy, I just saw a former fakboy can cry for the first time," ledek Kanda made the whole room hold back laughter when she remembered Joddy's reaction when she heard Kana was unconscious. Including Gufron, the stiff man was quite surprised, it turns out that Joddy really loves his only daughter he acts like in soap operas that blame the doctor when his patient suddenly drops .
Joddy could only scratch his neck misbehaving because he realized his behavior last night was too dramatic without knowing the actual circumstances. But understand it. His name is also the first time accompanying the wife to give birth, inexperienced. In addition, the state of Kana was indeed worrisome because of severe bleeding that almost took his life. Fortunately, doctors were quick to take action by giving blood transfusions.
Kana looked at Joddy, her husband looking very tired from the blackened eye bags.
"Udah is good." Kana smiled sweetly at her husband. Although it still looks pale and limp but Kana has gone through a worrying period because of bleeding.
"He's sleeping?" whispered Joddy gently stroked the little baby's cheeks with the reddish skin that fell asleep. Her eyes did not escape the beautiful face of the baby.
"Yes,*****him," said Jihan, who is very enthusiastic about her new grandchild. Even Gufron and Maya who had accompanied Kanapun since then was not given space to linger with the tiny baby.
"What name do you want?" Maya came closer and rubbed the cheeks of a red baby that was very similar to her mother. Only her eyes look like Joddy, the rest of the tiny baby girl is the incarnation of Kana.
"Who is it, brother?" Kana turned to her husband who was thinking, indeed they had not prepared at all the name because it was too focused on the health of the baby.
"Queen. Queensha Nathania Joddy's daughter." Joddy smoothly mentioned a line of names that made Kana look at him in disbelief. Queensha is the name that Adrian made and prepared when Kana was pregnant with Ken.
Adrian at that time was very hopeful his second child was born a girl as well but what human power can only hope because at that time they were blessed with a cute baby boy and very adorable.
Kana's heart melos, apparently Joddy still remember with the name made Adrian it.
"Queensha's? Hello, Queen!" Maya takes over the tiny baby and pets him lovingly.
"Jeng, change dong!"
"Judge it, Jeng, it's been. Replace me dong!"Maya moved away from Jihan approaching her husband who was sitting quietly.
"Eh, but-"
Kanda just turned the eyes of the careless look at the behavior of the grandma duo. He decides to go home with Ken out of pity and the boy looks very sleepy. Similarly, their grandmothers and grandfathers decided to go home first and give time to Kana to rest before returning to accompany Kana who still had to be observed.
"It's so pretty" muttered Joddy and put Queen in the baby box provided by the hospital.
"Where were you going?" kana asked after Joddy sat by her bed.
"To Adrian's tomb." Joddy smiled making Kana speechless. He remembered that when he was unconscious, Adrian had appeared in his dream.
"Dec," call Joddy to disperse the reverie of Kana.
"Yes?" Kana looked at her husband.
"Thank you."
"For?" Kana cringing tangent.
Joddy smiled then took Kana's hands and held them tightly. "For everything. For those of you who have given funny children and for those of you who are still with me. Thank you for coming back."
Kana returned Joddy's grasp then nodded and smiled gently. "Yes." Yeah."
"I don't know what happens if you leave me, Na. I'm not sure I can - well, it sounds too cheesy but I'm not sure I can survive without you." Joddy's voice rang out as there were remnants of fear visible in his eyes. Afraid of losing Kana, the woman he's been with for years.
"I'm not sure I can go on without you. But I'm grateful God still gives me the opportunity to make you and our children happy."
Kana nodded and patted Joddy's hand on the back. "Sister, as Ian once said. I will not go to a place where there is no one I love, unless fate asks me to go. But as you said, God also gives me the opportunity to take care of you and the children. So, let's not waste this opportunity."
"Yes, Honey. Thanks again for coming back to me!" Joddy hugged Kana tightly very tightly as if Kana was going to leave her.
"I'm sorry, it's worrying you" whispered Kana gently slapping her hands against Joddy's back as if reassuringly that everything was fine.
When Kana closed her eyes she remembered something...
***"Sister Ian?" Kana blinked her eyes a few times to make sure her vision was not wrong. Adrian was standing in front of him, dressed in all-white clothes with a shining face, his hands outstretched towards Kana who was staring at him full of tears.
"Sister!" Kana takes over Adrian's hug. Crying there.
"Sir, why so long ago, just came?"
Adrian did not answer he just smiled and returned Kana's embrace.
"Sister, I miss you so much." Kana cries as she pleases Adrian.
"Are you happy?"
In Kana's ear Adrian's voice still sounds the same.
Kana took off her embrace and looked at Adrian confused by her husband's question.
.
"I'm tired."
Adrian smiles and caresses Kana's hair. "Are you happy?" reworked Adrian because Kana's answer was not the answer to his question.
"I'm happy. Brother Joddy treated me and Ken well. But I-"
"Then get on with your life."
Kana cringing tangent. "But I want to come with you, brother. We haven't seen each other in a long time."
Adrian shook his head slowly. "No."
" I'm already happy. My time with you is up, Kana. Joddy and your kids need you more."
"And you didn't?"
Adrian smiled and shook his head again. "No."
Kana was stunned to hear Adrian's reply.
"As I said earlier. I am happy in my new place. Now it's time for you to be happy." Adrian rubbed Kana's head a sweet smile never escaped her lips.
"Where, go back to your husband and your children. It's not time for you to come with me." Adrian smiled then slowly his body began to move away from Kana.
Every time Kana approached Adrian's body, he got further away, and when Kana ran to chase him, Adrian's shadow completely disappeared from Kana's sight.**
