I'm not as good as you think

The house was empty as soon as Kana came. Apparently Kana's parents took Ken and Mbok Dar on vacation with Kanda and Nea to Bandung. Now they are more frequent to Bandung because Nea plans to settle there accepting teaching offers at a private campus. Kana's coming tomorrow because she's just off tomorrow morning. But it feels like Kana will not be able to travel to Bandung alone. His head was still dizzy plus now his body temperature was rising. Kana's mind was also in turmoil.

Kana really did not want to go anywhere, her mind was completely muddled. He was afraid, anxious, all tangent to one.

"Please Kana, be honest with me if you are a woman the night I get drunk" whispered Joddy whispering in Kana's ear. Makes Kana's blood rustle. Kana is getting used to Joddy's touch and she misses him.

"And now you're pregnant with my son, right?" Joddy tightened his embrace he inhaled the scent of Kana's body that he missed so much. Really, Kana wanted to refuse but as usual her body's response was always betrayal.

"Go, sister," Kana's voice sounded weak.

"Tell me this is my son, and I will continue to fight."

"Sister, please." Kana took off both of Joddy's hands that were holding her and then slightly moved away giving her some distance. "I've told you a hundred times. I'M NOT THAT WOMAN!"

Joddy was glued to where he stood. Trying to believe what Kana said, she stared at the bead of her brownish eyes. Joddy knew once Kana was lying.

"Even if I'm pregnant, this isn't your child. So, free you chase me. You better focus on your marriage. Don't bother me and Ken."

"You lied Kana. I know who you're not mung-"

"You don't know who I am, brother. I'm not as good as you think." Quickly Kana interrupted Joddy's words.

Kana knows how strongly she denies, Joddy won't just give up. Just look, even now Joddy is just responding to Kana's words with a small smile.

"So, who's the father of your fetus? Thomas?"

"Whoever his father is none of your business and certainly not yours!" reply Cana.

Joddy laughed then looked at Kana with her hands folded across her chest showing her high self-confidence."Keep denying Kana and I'll prove that the woman I'm with is you."

Kana grieves," Please." Kana doesn't care, she's not really hopeful about her relationship with Joddy. Her pregnancy problem later, let Kana think for herself

"And if all is proven, be prepared to be Lady Joddy Pradana."

Honestly hearing Joddy's words just now, Kana's heart warmed. But he shouldn't be lulled into having to realize that Joddy's not his. Jihan will never like Kana. Then how is it possible if Kana married Joddy she will live a quiet and happy life if her in-laws just don't like it.

You don't deserve to be here" he threw out without waiting for Joddy Kana's reply, running away leaving Joddy standing looking at him with a pushy look.
