On the other hand; Parry had just woken up by the sound of knocking on the door. The maid knocks on the door of the room to wake her on the orders of her Papi. He slept very late, making him unable to wake up as usual.
His mood was still not good, so he felt reluctant to get up and go to the office. Last night he was calm in front of Carren so as not to prolong the issue. It is no longer useful to question, because it is not about work or effort that can be negotiated.
Love is a matter of feeling. She was grateful that Carren could speak openly and not make her a beggar of love. Because if Carren needed time to think about answering, he gladly accepted and willingly waited.
But Carren immediately refused, so there was no longer any chance for him to wait. He thought about it all night after returning from Carren's house. It made him late to sleep and finally wake up late.
After bathing and getting dressed, Parry immediately left for the office with his driver. His parents left first. Last night's incident made him forget that he had to meet with Hutama's business partner this morning.
Because Parry didn't respond to her Papi's call, her assistant or secretary, made her call home to have the waiter wake her up. His assistant had gone to a meeting to represent him, as he could not be contacted.
Parry did not get excited about going to the office, not only because of his bad mood, but also because he was less rested. Lack of sleep, making it a bit squishy and unable to concentrate.
When he was in his study, he sat leaning back to calm his mind and also relieve his drowsiness. As her stomach began to signal, she remembered that she had not had breakfast. He immediately set off without seeing the waiter who had been waiting for him for breakfast.
Now she was just reminded after starting to feel bad for her stomach. When he picked up a drink on his desk, he was shocked. There were no drinking cups on the table as usual. He remembered Alle, his secretary. Why not prepare a drink for him.
Parry called Riri with the code as usual. Some time waited, but he did not respond. While Parry could see from her room, Riri was sitting down while looking down or writing something on her desk. Back he called, back Riri did not respond
It made Parry wonder and wonder. He took the phone and turned it on. He forgot to turn on the phone when he woke up, so all his work became chaotic and messy.
He ignored all calls and chats, then called Riri.
"📱"Yes, sir." Reply Riri briefly in a soft voice. He was sad because when Parry was about to enter his room did not answer the greeting or see it. While he was already very tense looking for him from the morning to go to meetings.
When he came, Riri tried to calm down and greeted him politely and cheerfully. But Parry ignored him, not even seeing him. So that out the daughter of a Piltaren who is not usually treated like that.
His brother never ignored him. Even if her brother is tired, she will say. 'Awhile yes, De'. Take a break.' So when Parry did not respond to her greeting, Riri sat speechless with a sad heart.
📱"To my room." Parry said briefly, as Riri responded to her call. Soon there was a knock on the door and Parry let him in.
When Riri was in her room, Parry was surprised to see that there was no smile on Riri's face as usual. "What's wrong with your face, Alle? Why is it raining outside, but it's clouding it here?" Parry asked, seeing Riri remain silent lowered.
"Alle, I'm asking you. Didn't you bring your mouth?" Parry asked again and was getting upset to see Riri silence.
"Ooh, can you see me? I guess I was abstract, so you can't see me." Riri said boldly, and eyes began to dew. He no longer thought of talking to his boss.
"What do you mean, Alle?" Parry asked slowly, as he saw that the tip of Riri's nose had started to turn red.
"So you came in, I said hello. But my father did not respond, as if I did not exist. Though from the morning we were very panicked and anxious, unable to contact the father." Riri spilled everything she felt since morning.
"Ooh, yeah sorry. I could no longer concentrate. Don't you move the rain outside into my room. Take this..." Parry said, while taking the lollipop-shaped caramel candy in the desk drawer and giving it to Riri to calm him down.
"Do you think I'm a child?" Riri said that, but walked up to Parry's desk and took the candy from Parry's hand. "Thank you, sir." He said again, then walked out leaving Parry dumbstruck with the attitude Riri had just seen.
Parry forgot to ask Riri to prepare a drink for him, because of Riri's unusual attitude. She was not the smart and deft woman she had been all along, but a spoiled and adorable one.
Not long after, the door was knocked back and Parry let in. "Sir, can I have some more candy? This one's gonna run out, but sadly I'm still there." Riri said casually, as if she was not talking to her leader.
"Jeez, Alle. Here, just one more. Later on your face bent and unsightly." Parry said, then took out a can of candy from his drawer.
"Two more, sir. Because I was sad for a long time. I'll go back to my dad's room." Said Riri, then approached Parry's table and was about to take two pieces of candy.
"Already, you just take it with the cans." Parry thrust his can towards Riri while shaking his head.
"Thank you, sir." With ease Riri took the can from Parry's hand and hugged it and walked out of the room.
Seeing Riri's attitude and attitude like children who can only be persuaded, Parry shook his head and smiled. "Alle, did you forget something for me?" Parry asked, when he saw Riri was about to open the door of his room.
"I forgot what, sir? I said thank you." Said Riri who had turned around while thinking.
"You don't have drinks for me?" Parry asked, seeing that Riri was thinking.
"Oooh, it's Sir. It's in my place. I'll get it." Said Riri, then patted her forehead slowly.
"You haven't drunk it yet, have you?" Tanya Parry suspected.
"So I almost drank, sir. Because you're not coming, you're going to be banished." Riri had forgotten her sadness.
"Bring here and also please find something to eat. I haven't had time for breakfast, so tolomg fast, yeah." Parry can be more relaxed, so also with Riri back to acting like a secretary.
"Good, Sir. Soon." Riri then walked out quickly while hugging the candy can. He placed his can on the table and picked up the drink that had been made for Parry. He was grateful, had brought more sandwiches, so it was still there after being eaten. He brought more for his lunch, because he knew Parry had a meeting. He won't be able to get out of his workplace for a break.
After everything is laid out in the dish, Riri takes her to Parry's room. "Where did you get the sandwich?" Parry asked, astonished to see that Riri was able to get a sandwich so quickly.
"Just calm down, sir. You eat this, safe and delicious." Riri said then gave a delicious gesture with a finger to her lips. Parry picked it up and bit it, then nodded. Acknowledging what Riri said.
Riri immediately exited Parry's room and returned with mineral water in hand and a can of candy in her arms. "This, Sir. Just drink this, because your stomach is still empty. Don't drink that instant drink first." Riri put away Parry's drinking cup and placed the mineral water near Parry's plate.
"And here I return my father's candy can. I don't need it anymore." Riri said, while putting a can of candy on the table, then walked out of Parry's room with a heart of relief. Parry was amazed by what Riri did.
