The Charm Behind the Mist

The Charm Behind the Mist
There's Smile.

~Happy Reading~

Looking at Carren who kept fanning his face, Aaric only sang one song. Although the singer and musician asked her to sing again, Aaric came back down and sat down at her desk.

"Jekob, please order a drink for you. I'm quite mineral water." Aaric said as Jekob had returned to catch up with him. Aaric talked to Jekob, but his eyes did not escape Carren. While waiting for Jekob, Aaric sent a message to his driver, asking what he was told. When he read the driver's reply, he smiled.

Jekob returned with the waiter who was carrying two bottles of mineral water and a glass in a tray. After being poured by the waiter, Aaric drank it right away."Jekob, have you paid for this drink? Then finish your drink and we'll be out." Aaric continued his words, when he saw Jekob nod.

Aaric saw the woman who called him 'beb' continue to notice him, so he started to feel annoyed. Jekob immediately drained his mineral water, then stood up following his boss who had walked out with his long strides.

Carren accidentally took his phone in the bag so he could duck, because he felt noticed. When he lifted his face, he did not see Aaric sitting in his place anymore. It made him calm and concentrate with his friends, especially Parry.

He felt astonished to see Liana coming alone without Recky. He looked at Ayunna who did not dare to look at him blatantly ever since he arrived. Carren came a bit late, because the meeting with the client was late. She doesn't feel good if she doesn't come, because Parry keeps asking for her presence. He was grateful, his friends were being kind and friendly to him. Except for Ayunna and Liana as usual.

Carren did not care about the two of them, especially Liana. Why should he be angry with her. He had gotten what he wanted, so why was he still mad at him. What he said in the locker room was right, so if you want to be angry, be angry. Carren doesn't want to remember anymore. And not to have to respond to Ayunna who never ends up holding a grudge against him.

"Why doesn't your boyfriend come with you? I thought he was coming, so you can meet him here." Carren asked, ignoring the peerage of the friends who saw him talking casually with Parry.

"Besides he's not from our school, he also doesn't want to meet our friends. There will be a lot of useless stories and talks. We'll meet alone, when we're free." Parry replied slowly, because Riri did not want to go with him.

"alright. I'm waiting to hear from you." Carren said and nodded in understanding what Parry had said. He himself, if he does not remember Parry, does not want to come to gather with his friends, especially Ayunna.

He looked back at Liana who always avoided looking at him. There were many changes in his face and body. He looks slimmer, leaner. It made Carren's heart wonder what happened to her marriage. If Ayunna, if he looks directly at her, or pretends to look elsewhere.

"Carren, have you been busy lately?" Tanya Parry who saw Carren's face more tapered. Carren smiled, then nodded. "Lumayan is busy and cape', because it is climbing. Maybe later if it's in a slightly flat place, want to rest for a moment." Carren replied, jokingly, so that Parry would not worry about her.

"Even if it is as busy as it is, take care of your health. If it hurts, can it still work?" Parry said seriously. "Ready. After this, I'll rest for a while. Wanna go for a walk with Mama, because I rarely meet and relax with her." Carren accepted Parry's advice with pleasure. Parry nodded in agreement to what Carren said.

"What do you want to eat? Let me order with me." Parry asked, when he saw his friends had started eating. They are busy talking, so they do not hear friends who ask what they want to eat.

"Parry, I'm sorry. I didn't eat, yeah. I want to go back to the office, because the others are still working there. I'm from noon outside, and straight here." Carren hopes Parry understands and allows it.

"What are you going to wear?" Ask Parry who will take him home. For him, all that matters is that Carren has come.

"Just calm down, I'm with the driver, so it's safe. Please continue the meeting. If there's a deal, I'll go with you." Carren said seriously. Seeing Carren who was uncomfortable with the others, Parry nodded.

Liana actually wanted to ask Recky's whereabouts to him, but was scared and embarrassed. When she asked her husband to another woman. 'Seeing Carren's attitude, maybe he himself was unaware of Recky's whereabouts.' Think Liana.

"No need to drive me. Sit with friends and eat. The driver's waiting for me." Parry nodded and sat back down. Carren feels bad, if Parry sees him coming in a fancy car. Either Parry knows Recky's car or not. Therefore, he avoided going home with the others. Liana could have known about Recky's car.

After being outside the restaurant, Carren called the driver to pick him up in front of the restaurant. Seeing his car approaching, he looked back, worried that a friend was coming out. When he came, he did not think of a situation like this. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw his car approaching and no park came out.

Carren instantly opened the door, as the car stopped in front of him. But he was surprised to see that it was not his driver. He closed the door again apologizing, thinking it was wrong to open the car door. But he reopened the door, because he knew the hanger in the rearview mirror of the car was his.

"Sorry, Sir. Is this my car?" Carren asked hesitantly and his face began to blush when he saw who was behind the wheel. Aaric nodded, smilingly looking at Carren's bewildered face.

"Well, there's something behind." Said Aaric, pointing back with his face. Carren who felt bad with the car in the back, went straight up and sat with his heart pounding irregularly.

"Your driver's safe. You'll meet him soon. So take it easy, I need to be with you." Aaric said, seeing Carren looking back. Aaric knows, Carren must have asked about the driver.

Carren could not make a sound, just nodded. If he speaks, his voice will tremble. Unknowingly, he again fanned his face with both hands. This made Aaric smile more in his heart.

"I'd like to ask for your number." Said Aaric while running his car slowly out of the restaurant. Carren immediately opened his bag and took out a business card from inside his pocket.

"I don't need that number. I'm asking for your personal phone number." Carren instantly looked at Aaric with a shocked face. It made Aaric directly blow his already flushed face.

"I'm just asking for your number, not asking for anything else. If you want me to come down, give me your number. Or do you want me to take you home?" Aaric asked who was more and more pleased to see Carren's confused face.

"Because I'm driving, you're the one who recorded my number." Carren hurriedly pulled out his phone in a panic. Out of nowhere, she held her phone and typed the number Aaric mentioned with a trembling hand.

"Slowly just typing it, I patiently waited. If so, please call that number." Pinta Aarics. He smiled happily, as he looked at the incoming number not like the one in his contact. He accidentally put his phone in place of Carren's phone in the car, in order to see the mobile number that came in.

"Save my number under the name Aaric. Double A's. So if I call, don't ask who." Said Aaric, then parked the car on the side of the road and took his cell phone.

"I'll keep your number with Arra's name." Aaric said casually, while typing on his phone. He wants to distinguish from the number that has been stored using the name Carren. He did not see Carren who was looking at him with round eyes in surprise.
