Recky could not hide her interest, when she found out the name of her brother's fiance. "A sister's engagement named Carren?" Recky is shocked to hear Aaric mention her fiance's name. She looked at her brother seriously, while trying to calm her heart thinking there were many names of Carren in Indonesia.

"Yes. What was? Do you know anyone named Carren?" Asked Aaric who did not understand Recky's shock.

"Where do you know Carren? Has he known her for a long time?" Recky asked with a feeling of uneasiness and his heart started to fret.

Aaric looked at Recky with narrowed eyes, as he saw her unhappy face while asking questions as usual. "I knew him for the first time, at your wedding." Said Aaric while looking at Recky and also recalling his meeting with Carren.

"At that time, his hand was injured for dealing with the woman you told me one of the demons was also me. I wanted to go out of the room to check on the security guard, and saw the woman pulling her tied hair. Carren held the hand that was holding her hair, twisted and stomped on it."

"Maybe his hand scratched something in the woman's hand, causing her to get injured. He walked without realizing his hands were bleeding. I know it, because there's a drop of blood on the floor and then scolding it." Aaric recounts his first encounter with Carren and is drawn to him upon seeing his face and eyes.

Recky immediately limp and quietly mute. Which other Carren is dealing with Ayunna, if not Carren in his heart. He looked down without words. Her heart was slashed, because the woman she loved was betrothed to her brother.

"After meeting him at that time, I asked for security help to check who he was. So know he's the owner of the WO who arranged your wedding. After that, we didn't see each other again because I went to the Aussie to drive you and a lot of things happened after your marriage and the company." Aaric recounts his meeting and his introduction to Carren.

"Later I was from Aussie, I didn't go straight to Europe, because there was a meeting and had to go to Bali. After the meeting, I met him again in Bali. He's surveying the venue for his client reception. After that, we started communicating often and then met again." Aaric recounted the continuation of his meeting with Carren, without saying he immediately proposed to her.

He begins to become suspicious of Recky's change in face and attitude. He could not keep what was in his heart. But wait for what Recky will say. "Did you have a picture of Carren?" Recky asked quietly, to reassure himself and make sure that was in his mind and heart.

Aaric pulled the phone out of his pants pocket, then opened the gallery to look for photos of Carren when they got engaged. There are some photos that Jekob gave and kept by him. Fretfully, he showed Carren a picture with his mother. He didn't show his picture with Carren. There were warning signs on Recky's face and attitude, making him have to be careful.

Upon seeing Carren's photo, Recky fell silent again and lowered his head. "What's up, Recky? Is the girl you love Carren?" Aaric tried to guess, then asked carefully. Recky nodded strongly in silence, unable to speak and unable to look at her brother.

"Recki... What the hell are you doing? Why do you love her, but you let her take care of your wedding? Have you two gone crazy, doing that absurd thing?" Aaric asked in surprise and began to get emotional.

"I am grateful that day did not get angry or forbid him to pray for the man he once loved. Turns out he's praying for my own sister." Aaric remembers Carren asking permission to pray for the man he had with him while they were in Bali.

Recky lifted her face and looked at her brother with sad and teary eyes. "So don't comfort me by lying, if he loves me." Recky said quietly, because as long as they were together, not once did Carren say that he loved her.

"Why amuse you by lying? Can a lie comfort you? Is your conscience no longer able to tell which is lying and which is honest? And for now, what's the benefit of lying to both of us?" Aaric asked, streaked with emotions and various tastes in the heart.

"It was then that I proposed to her, but I had to honestly tell her that there was someone I had loved before. So that it will not be a thorn in our relationship. The devil at home can affect him with his boast about Naina." Aaric said seriously.

"At that time he said, there was someone he had loved, but could not be together because of something that separated them. I asked him why, he said because of the pouring and the conditions that made the man have to get married. I asked if it was still related, because I wanted everything to be clear so as not to interfere in the future. He said he was out of touch and he didn't know where the man was. That's when he asked permission to pray for the man, because you're parting well and there's a lot of good done by the man until he can be like that." Aaric said quietly with an indescribable feeling.

"Can I make up a story like that? Turns out you're just academic smart, but you're stupid with this kind of business. You speculate about your feelings and the feelings of the people you love. You wasted the food that was in front of you to follow the demon's wishes?" Aaric was upset, angry and also sad for what his sister had to go through as well as himself and Carren.

"You don't know if he loves you when you declare your love for him? Can't you see, what's in his heart? Everything in Carren's heart was clearly reflected in his face and actions." Aaric said in succession because his heart was very emotional, troubled and sad. He who had not known Carren for a long time could already see Carren's mood.

"How long have you known her, until you didn't know that?" Aaric asked again, being very curious about his sister's relationship and he had yet to understand what was really going on with his sister. Everything his father told him about Recky and the girl he loved, evaporated from his mind in shock and sadness.

"We were together from the time we were at school. He's my schoolmate at the House." Recky replied softly with a sad face.

"Jeez, Reckiii... What were you doing all that time? Why did you let him, without realizing his feelings?" Aaric asked curiously and sadly.

Recky immediately put his forehead on his hand which was on the dining table. A position that shows he is very sad. "Don't hold my head, brother." Recky said slowly and sadly, because he knew his brother's habit would comfort him by rubbing his head and ruffling his hair fondly.

"How am I supposed to hold your head, and I myself am being comforted?" Aaric said with a sad heart, because he saw his sister's position if he was sad.
