Carren was still cautious about receiving money from Aaric. As Aaric's request would transfer money, in order for Carren to buy clothes for the engagement, Carren rejected it subtly. He went to the Mall with his Mama to buy kebaya, cloth and others with his own money. Besides now that he was able to provide for his life and his mother, he avoided Aaric's negative assessment of her.
Aaric understands that very well, so he is not giving away cash or planning for a transfer like before. "Hold and use it, if necessary. I believe you can manage it well for what is necessary." Aaric said seriously, and did not want to be denied. Carren nodded then accepted it and put it together with an access card. He thinks, rather than arguing, he better accept and keep it so that it is not long discussion.
"Is there anything less or is there something you want to ask? Our communications are not dependent or interrupted." Aaric was already relieved, because Carren could understand and was willing to accept the card he was given.
"Yes, Brother. Maybe I'll drop the car at home, park it in the parking lot of this apartment. You have to get dusted every day or you have to park in front of your house. Will disturb neighbors or people who will pass in front of the house." Carren said remembering Recky's car that was on the porch of his house. 'The car will narrow down the work space of the craftsman when they want to repair the house. Or do not get scratched by the involuntary movement of the handyman.' Think Carren, it's better to prevent than to treat.
"OKs. You just tell them who picked you up. One of them will take him to park downstairs." Aaric understands Carren's difficulties, if the repairman wants to fix his house and the car is on the porch of his house. Jekob had already told Carren's house and car condition to his boss, when he and Sapta went to pick up Carren.
"Is there anything else you want to talk about?" Tanya Aaric returned seriously, as she was thinking also how good, if she was not in Jakarta and Carren would fix her house.
"There's no more, brother. I'm going back to the office, because it's about to be the day of the wedding. I have to check again everything that's been prepared." Carren said softly, hoping Aaric could understand and not hold him back for dinner.
"good. Even if I'm not around, you don't work like you used to. I don't forbid you to work, though my heart actually objected to seeing you work like this. I let it go, because your work is related to creativity and something you like, so it's okay. But if you work only for a living, I'll ban you once we're engaged." Aaric said seriously, while looking at Carren affectionately. He hoped Carren could understand his point and start to set his rhythm.
"Yes, Brother. I've already started organizing and will have an assistant who can replace me if it's a disaster. Oooh yes, Brother. Let me show you the side dishes I brought for brother and Papa's dinner. I'll keep warm before I eat." Carren said remembering Mr. Biantra and Aaric's dinner, then stood up and took Aaric to the kitchen. She had told her Mama that there was a side dish for dinner as well.
"A moment, I call Papa. So that two people are better, can remind each other. I've never been, so don't let that side dish get to our dinner." Aaric said with a smile considering that he had forgotten to press the button to cook rice.
He went to the living room to call his Papa who was reading in front of the laptop. "Ayoo to the kitchen, Pa. Carren's coming back to the office, so he's gonna show us a side dish for our dinner. Later Jekob comes, Papa can teach Jekob to prepare dinner." Aaric said seriously, because he needed his Papa's help. Mr. Biantra smiled understandingly, then followed Aaric walking into the kitchen.
"Yes, careful. Don't be too tired of working. Later often here see Papa, not just to bring the side dish just come here." Said Mr. Biantra while stroking the shoulder of Carren who was kissing the back of his hand to leave. Mr. Biantra already considers Carren like his own daughter, not a potential ghost.
"Yes, Pa. I'll make it work. But if you can't get here, Papa's spirit, yeah. Papa must be strong and healthy." Carren said encouragingly, because Aaric had spoken to him about his plans, would take Mr. Biantra to one of the hospitals in Switzerland.
"Yeah. Papa must be energetic and healthy, because you're getting married and Papa will be Eyang." Said Mr. Biantra while smiling happily singing it. Carren so smiled embarrassedly, looking at Aaric who was walking over to them.
"What are you two talking about, until someone smiles like that?" Aaric asked who saw Carren's face flushed red, out of embarrassment. Mr. Biantra and Carren only smiled, not answering Aaric's question because it would be a long and long conversation next.
"Ayooo, let me take you to the lobby." Said Aaric, as there was no answer from Carren or his Papa. Holding Carren's hand, they walked out of the apartment to the lobby. Mr. Biantra looked at their warmth and affection with a grateful heart. His son has returned to a warm persona. Although Aaric did not say it, but from his actions, he knew Aaric did love Carren.
"Arra, I can't take you because Jekob is coming. We'll talk to Papa about my plans to take him to Switzerland." Aaric explained, when they were already in the elevator.
"Yes, Brother. Ngga. Even better so, in order to arrive at the office I can langsumg work. If the brother inter and follow down, there will be keheboan in the office. Employees will ask a lot and ledekin me, eventually all work will be delayed. We could've been overtime, 'cause it's mostly talk rather than work." Carren said with relief, Aaric did not drive her. He has not told the employee that he is engaged.
"good. Don't forget to pray for everything I'm planning. I hope everything goes well so I can get back here quickly. Oooh, yes. Don't forget to miss me too." Aaric said with a smile, then kissed the top of Carren's head who was standing next to him.
"Sister, don't forget to miss me. Eeehh, don't stay there long, brother. May Papa be well, so that you may return quickly." Carren was no longer ashamed to express the feelings of his heart, which would miss Aaric. Reflexively, Aaric tightened the hand grip on Carren's shoulder and rubbed it affectionately.
