~Happy Reading~
Aaric watched his Papa pass through the edges of the cup he was drinking. "There are no books or readings here, because I didn't stay here long. Papa write a book or read what you want to read, so that tomorrow Jekob will bring him here." Aaric was happy, because his father had started talking about his wishes. He has a large collection of good books, but all of them are stored in the reading room at his home in Switzerland.
No need to hurry, Papa can watch in the room. So Papa won't come out and bother you." Said Mr. Biantra. He thought that Aaric may have had a girlfriend and often brought to the apartment so he would not interfere with his son's pleasure.
"Papa won't bother me here. So Papa wants to do what's here, just do it. When it comes to a girl, I already have a boyfriend. I'll introduce him to Papa." Say Aaric as casually as possible, so that his Papa does not feel as a bully.
"Was your girlfriend, the girl your mama said at the time." Ask Mr. Biantra slowly, considering that Aaric was very angry when he found out his mother interfered and disturbed the girl who was considered a girlfriend by Mr. Biantra. Because Aaric couldn't have reacted that way, if there wasn't a special relationship between them.
He does not want to bring up the name of Naina who is not there, so as not to interfere with the newly established relationship with her son. He knew that Aaric was dating Naina, the daughter of the Hutama family. When his mother was angry and threatened him, he went on a rampage and left the house without giving any news. Especially after Naina died, she really did not return and disappeared.
"Yes, Pa. Soon I'll introduce him to Papa." Say Aaric slowly. He did not talk about his proposal, so that his father did not think he picked him up in Malang to accompany him to go propose.
"You're luckier on this than your sister." Said Mr. Biantra recalling the last meeting at the villa that night, with his youngest son by the lake. He said he was in love with a girl, so he felt sad and devastated when he was going to marry a woman he did not like. The woman he calls a ghost.
"Favorable? What does Papa mean?" Aaric asked seriously, then placed the cup in his hand. He did not understand the meaning of his father's words. 'If you are lucky because of success in your career, yes... The windfall of each person is different, although they are brother and sister, must be different as well. When it comes to girls, is she lucky?' Aaric.
"Actually, your sister was in love with a girl, but your mother asked you to marry the woman who is now her wife." Said Mr. Biantra and then put the cup in his hand.
"Recky's got a girl he loves?" Aaric asked in surprise. As far as Aaric knows, Recky has not had a clear and determined boyfriend. He only likes girls when he's in college. Just an ordinary date that is not serious.
"That's what he said, when Papa met him that night by the lake in the villa. He was furious when your mother set him up to propose to his wife. He hit the wall in frustration. He wanted to rebel, but couldn't because he had already come to propose." Said Mr. Biantra quietly, because given the sadness of his youngest son that night. His stare broke from upstairs, after hitting the wall.
"Is the girl in Indonesia or in the Aussie?" Aaric asked curiously, because after Recky returned to Australia he didn't show any women he liked. He is more often at home, or traveling by car with his assistant. He did not show or say he loved a woman.
"Papa doesn't know, because he has never introduced Papa. Papa's estimate, probably in Australia. Because it is not possible in Indonesia, because every time he returned to Indonesia he only briefly. Just help Papa in the office, then go back to Australia." Said Mr. Biantra, while thinking and trying to guess.
Aaric was more confused to hear the words of Mr. Biantra. He looked at his Papa while thinking, who exactly is the girl his sister loves and he doesn't know. Who is the girl who made her sister have to hit the wall, to make her hand hurt.
"Didn't Papa ask Recky, who was that girl? Recky couldn't possibly lie to avoid the marriage by saying he loved someone. He must love someone." Said Aaric sure, because he knows well the character of his sister.
"That's what Papa regretted, didn't ask him that night. From the hugs, cries and dings of his feet, his heart was turbulent and disconnected. After he leaves Papa realizes, right, he is in love with a girl and is struggling to get her. But your mama cut him off, before he got the girl. His regretful and helpless foot cushion, deeply imprinted in Papa's heart." Mr. Biantra said without continuing that it was the second time he did.
The first time she did so was crying on the edge of a hospital bed when she was sick after Aaric's departure. Recky slammed his legs with annoyance, anger mixed with sadness, because he did not accept his Papa pain due to thinking too much about his brother. While he could not do anything to bring his brother, so that his Papa could be cured.
"Papa himself was still surprised to see him suddenly coming in the living room of the Tarikalla family that night. Your mama didn't say we were going to that family for the purpose of proposing. Recky was in Australia, so Papa didn't think about it. Papa thought the family invited us to dinner. No idea, your mom called Recky with Papa's phone and said Papa was sick. He was asked to come home soon and your sister unsuspectingly said when he would be home. Then your Mama and your Opamu arranged everything, so that Recky was in the living room of the Tarikalla family that night." Mr. Biantra told me things that became a burden on his mind and regret.
Hearing her Papa's story, Aaric became emotional and furious. 'Recky says it's itchy to come into contact with a woman who is his wife. It turns out that there are a lot of germs scattered around it.' Aaric.
"The Father is not looking for a reason to justify himself before you. Papa just wants to ease a little bit of regret, by telling you this. A father can't help his own son from a trap in plain sight, very painful." Mr. Biantra said as he looked at Aaric with eyes that harbored sadness. Aaric could feel the suffering of his Papa as a man who was not in charge of his home.
"Papa was grateful that night your sister took your mother's car, so Papa knew where she was. If he's got his own car, maybe by the morning Papa's gonna get him out of the lake." Said Mr. Biantra shuddered and bowed sadly thinking about the event.
