Aaric did not continue his heart, only looking at Carren and Miss Nancy alternately. He did not understand what was going on with the change in mood and attitude from Carren and Mama.

"Son Aaric, Auntie, excuse me for a minute to go to the toilet." Miss Nancy said quietly, then stood up without waiting for Carren's approval. He left Aaric and Carren wondering inwardly, not understanding.

Changes in the face and attitude of Miss Nancy, making her confused. Aaric looked at Carren who was sitting next to him then took Carren's hand which was on his lap. He placed both of Carren's hands in his palms and then grasped them. He looked at Carren seriously. "Arra, did I make a mistake other than being late?" Aaric asked worriedly and did not understand Mama Carren's changing attitude.

"No, Brother. Mama understood about being late. If this one, Arra doesn't know. Maybe the menu you ate didn't fit your stomach." Carren's words diverted the discussion, because he himself did not know what was going on.

"May your mother not be angry with me." Aaric said, doubtful. What Carren called out could not be accepted, because he saw Mama Carren was fine after eating. "Then, try to follow, lest he need help." Said Aaric again, then rubbed Carren's back slowly. Carren nodded, understood.

Just as Carren was about to stand up, his mother had already returned with a face that made Carren flinch. Her mother had just finished crying, seen from the tip of her nose that was still red. Carren knew that, if his mother held back crying, surely the tip of his nose was flushed.

"Son Aaric, we'll excuse you to go home, yes. Next time we'll talk again." Miss Nancy said softly with a trembling voice. Carren looked at his mother in wonder, but his heart was saddened to hear her voice.

"Ooh, yes, Auntie. Hold on, I'll drop off." Said Aaric, then gestured for waiters to bring the bill. After paying for everything, they walked out of the restaurant towards the parking lot.

After Carren was in the car, Aaric gestured him to call her by putting a hand in her ear. He saw Carren's car depart from the parking lot with various questions on his head. He immediately got into the car to check the GPRS, in order to find out the conversation Carren and Mama had. What a mistake he made, so Mama Carren suddenly came home.

After Carren and Mama's long journey, there was no talk. They just stayed in the car, making Aaric even more confused. What the hell is going on. He returned to the apartment and sat in his own living room. He thought about the meeting earlier, from the moment he came to meet up to the change in mood as he was about to talk about his relationship with Carren.

'Is it about Carren's sudden seat shift?' Aaric. After Carren and his mother had returned home, he asked Jekob and Sapta not to accompany him in the apartment. They picked her up at the airport and waited in the restaurant's parking lot and drove her home to the apartment.

Jekob actually asked to accompany Aaric in the apartment, because he saw his boss's unhappy face when he came out of the restaurant. But Aaric asked the two of them to go home, wanting to think for themselves about events he had not expected.

.***.

Carren who could not bear to cry since in the car, so cried sobbing after the soup had paid her way home. Carren and Miss Nancy in the car did not speak, because they both held back the sadness according to their feelings. Carren held back the tears from the sadness of remembering Aaric who was left in a confused state. They held back crying because there was a driver with them.

Carren approached his mother who was wiping away the tears on the dining table. He could no longer hold back his curiosity and sadness. When she saw her mother stripping, she cried even more sadly.

He approached his mother who had stood up from the dining table and moved. Miss Nancy gasped to see Carren approaching her tearfully and hugged her leg. "Mama, I'm sorry Aaric, if you make a mistake. That's when Aaric really didn't come too late." Carren said in her tears while hugging her Mama's feet. Miss Nancy was still glued to see what her daughter was doing.

Carren did it for the first time to make Miss Nancy lowered her head and hugged her daughter and came back crying. "Mama, Arra please, don't make Brother Aaric confused with Mama silence him. Pity Kak Aaric who is tired from a flight that is far and not easy. If you want to be angry, get angry, Arra, Ma. Not Brother Aaric. Now Arra doesn't know what to say to Aaric. Arra's sorry, it made Mama cry. Forgive Arra, Ma." Carren said as he continued to hug his mother's feet tightly and placed his forehead on her mother's knee.

"Wake, Arra. You guys aren't wrong. The wrong mom. Don't cry anymore." Said Miss Nancy, then raised Carren up and hugged her. "Soon call Aaric, Mama'll talk to him." Said Miss Nancy again, seeing the sadness of her daughter.

Hearing that, Carren let go of his embrace and grabbed his bag. With a restrained sobbing he pulled out the phone and contacted Aaric. Miss Nancy took the phone out of Carren's hand and went into her room.

๐Ÿ“ฑ"Halloo. Son of Aaric, this is Auntie." Said Miss Nancy, as Aaric responded to Carren's call. Aaric was about to greet Carren, so stunned.

๐Ÿ“ฑ"Eeh, yes Aunt. I'm sorry, if there was a mistake." Aaric was not ready to answer Miss Nancy's greeting, so the club was about to say what.

๐Ÿ“ฑ"You're not wrong. Aunty who can't control her feelings. So now Aunt's sorry, it's confusing for you. Aunty wants to explain a little about the incident, but Nak Aaric doesn't have to talk to Carren." Miss Nancy said quietly, with a voice shaking because it was controlling her feelings.

๐Ÿ“ฑ"Good, Aunt." Aaric replied a little relieved, knowing not to have done anything wrong..

๐Ÿ“ฑ"So when I saw Carren standing and sitting next to you, Auntie remembered Alm. Her papa. That was the last thing he did while we were talking seriously for our lives." Ms. Nancy recalled the past with her husband. Her tears are flowing back.

๐Ÿ“ฑ"Since childhood, if he saw us talking seriously or fighting, he would suddenly sit next to who he was behind. Either beside me or her father. She would sit quietly without making a sound and her Papa would smile happily if she sat beside him. We'll automatically stop talking or fighting if Carren shows us where he is. The last time he did that was when we had a little disagreement at the dinner table, before he went to the office. That day his father suffered an accident in the office, not long after he died." Ms. Nancy explained slowly, holding back her sense of belonging.
