The Unexpected Gift.

Days change, weeks change. It doesn't feel like time passes so quickly for those who are busy and creative. It happened to Carren and his co-workers. They had finished decorating at the Ijab Kabul event neighboring Akri, as well as some sudden requests for Church decor for the blessing event.

Now they're preparing the decors for the reception at the Hirakku building. That makes Carren work seriously, because not only the decor of the building is taken care of, but also catering. All four of them must learn to share their attention.

Today the four of them are on holiday, because of the weekend. They took time to rest for a while. But not for Carren, he still helped his mother who was getting a pretty much stitching order.

Carren helped also prepare lunch for the two of them. After finishing cooking, Carren picked up a laptop and began to rough design the room to be decorated if suddenly needed. He wasted no time, nothing was done.

On the sidelines of his busy life in front of the laptop, his phone vibrated. When he saw an unknown number reach him, Carren's eyebrows linked. Given his current job, Carren immediately responded.

📱"Alloo, Carren. This is Maxi. How are you and Aunt Nancy?" Maxi asked, as Carren responded to his call.

📱"Ooh. Alloo, Brother Maxi. Carren and Mama are fine, sister. How's Maxi and the family doing, too?" Carren replied when he found out Maxi had contacted him.

📱"We're also fine Carren. Are you busy this afternoon?" Ask Maxi again.

📱"Ngga, Brother Maxi. Today just a little work at home and help Mama." Answer Carren. He remembers what Ichad once said, that Maxi will contact him to talk.

📱"Then, we can meet this afternoon? I'd like to take you and Aunt to lunch." Because of the busyness of Maxi, so long have not been able to meet with Carren and Miss Nancy.

📱"Can, Brother Maxi. Brother said the place, Carren and Mama will be there to see Brother." Carren said happy to meet again with the family of Bu Florens.

📱"Well, I'll share loc. See you there before lunch time, yeah." Then Maxi ended their conversation after Carren replied to him.

Carren immediately went out of the room to talk to his mother who was busy sewing. "Ma, Maxi just called, want to take us to lunch. Maybe as Ichad's sister said, Maxi's sister wants to talk to us." Carren said as he stood beside his mother.

"Maybe. Well then, we're getting ready because it's almost eleven. Arra takes a bath, let Mama put in the fridge all the cooking that has been cooked." Ms. Nancy put the stitches on the machine and stood towards the kitchen.

Carren nodded in understanding and immediately took a towel to take a bath. Even though he had a morning shower, he had to take another bath because he had just finished cooking. Likewise with Miss Nancy, immediately shower after Carren out of the bathroom.

Before lunch time, Carren and Miss Nancy had arrived at the restaurant that Maxi intended as their meeting place. When they entered the restaurant, they felt relieved that Maxi had come and waited for them.

After shaking hands and asking each other for news, Maxi beckoned the waiter to bring the menu he had ordered. "Tante Nancy, we'll eat before we speak, yeah. Let's just talk, we're not late for lunch." Maxi said, then let the servant serve them. Miss Nancy and Carren just nodded with a smile.

"Yes, Maxi. Ichad told us about what Sisil did. We are so sad to hear it. But how else, it all happened. We are disappointed and sad, every time we remember that." Miss Nancy spoke, Carren just silently listened and looked down. They are indeed sad to remember everything that was done with Almh was damaged in the brush time.

"Yes, Aunt. Our family was shocked and did not know what was going on. That's why I'm taking Auntie and Carren to talk this afternoon. In our family no one can continue the business of Mama. Maybe we're lacking an artistic and creative sense like Mama." Maxi conveyed his point.

"Look, the shophouse and all the equipment in it, I entrust to Carren who manages it. Don't think about paying us. For one year, Aunt and Carren please use it grstically. Later after a year, Carren will pay the rent or buy it, please." Maxi is talking seriously.

Both of Mama's cars are often used for decoration, please used by Carren to do the job. All Carren needs to do with those two cars, service them and pay the taxes. After a year, we'll talk about it again." Carren and Miss Nancy looked at Maxi stunned, as if they could not believe what she was saying.

"So Carren and Aunt Nancy please accept this, for all the good things Auntie and Mama have done. This is also your ATM card, Carren use this as an additional capital. Don't think about the return. One year later Carren wants to be either keeled or chirp, please." Carren was speechless, not feeling his tears flowing. Likewise with Miss Nancy who can only hold her chest.

"There are additional requirements, Carren please invite the five employees who work with Mama at the end of her age. Let them work with you as well with Ichad, Akri and Rosna." Hearing that, Carren could only nod his head.

"Here I've written the agreement, please Carren read and sign it on the stamp. Since we are human, do not let anything happen in the future so as to damage the good relations between our families." Maxi took out a bundle of paper from inside the bag, then handed it to Carren. He made a double one to keep them each.

"I'm doing this, because next month I'm getting married. Don't let my future wife who doesn't understand what's going on between Mama, Auntie and Carren make this a problem. And I want Carren to work on developing this business quietly with the others." Maxi explained about everything he did and planned.

Carren read and signed the agreement. All of the points Maxi listed were in his favor to start a wider range of ventures.

"It's car keys and pic ups, also shophouse keys. This is the phone number of the other five employees. Then take them all to the shophouse to clean and tidy it up. I haven't had a chance to check it out since Sisil left." Say Maxi, then give the bag containing the keys.

"This is the ATM and Mama's savings book, password and last balance after being taken by Sisil. Carren checks everything again. Want to be transferred to Carren's account, please." Maxi gives Carren a small brown envelope. Carren could only accept it with a roar of tears. Likewise with Miss Nancy, who has cried as much as she could with a heart of unceasing gratitude.

Holding her chest to dampen the feeling of haru and the roar of tears, Carren spoke in his heart. 'Yes, God. Thank you for your kindness which I cannot handle.'
