After becoming engaged to Carren, Aaric began to prepare for his Papa's departure to Switzerland. He will take Mr. Biantra for a health check and stay in Switzerland during the company's handling of Biantra and Naina's death. Aaric does not want his Papa to be in Indonesia when there is chaos in the company and also in his family.

While waiting for his departure, he works at the apartment to accompany his Papa. So that his father does not get bored and feel lonely. Aunty only came if she asked him to do something necessary. Carren could not come to accompany her Papa, as her work was going into the final phase of decorating.

They've gone back to busy working mode, taking care of work that demands their individual responsibilities. It did not feel like three days had passed, Carren was busy with his employees in the office. By lunchtime, Miss Nancy called her.

📱"Arra, are you busy today?" Nancy asked as Carren responded to her call.

📱"Lumayan, Ma. But soon we'll take a break for lunch. What's up, Ma?" Carren replied and asked back as he walked into his study. His mother must have needed something, so she suddenly contacted him.

📱"This Mama there cook more side dishes. Can you take her to Aaric's? Maybe her dad can eat home-cooked food. But what do you think? Do they want to eat or not have to be sent?" Miss Nancy asked hesitantly, asking Carren for her opinion. Aaric had spoken to Ms. Nancy in person that night, saying that her Papa was unwell, so could not yet determine the exact time for her marriage to Carren. He'll bring his Papa to check his health first. 

📱"Then, Mama please send to office with ojol, yes. I'll call Aaric's sister while I wait, so that Aaric doesn't order lunch from outside for them." Carren said quickly, because he was worried that Aaric or Jekob had ordered food from outside.

📱"Good. Mama immediately order ojol to take him to your office." Miss Nancy said in relief, then ended their conversation after greeting each other. Miss Nancy was happy the side dish would be brought, because it had cooked quite a lot of side dishes. Carren only eats dinner at home.

Carren immediately contacted Aaric, so as not to be late. At least can cancel if it has not been sent to the apartment.

📱"Alloo, Arra. Contacts, yes. I was just about to call you, eeehh. You used to talk." Aaric said realizing Carren contacted him during the day, there must be something. Usually just chat asking for news, then call after returning from the office.

📱"Alloo, Brother. Is she in the office?" Ask Carren. He thought, if Aaric is in the office, he stays to the apartment to bring his side dishes for Mr. Biantra's lunch.

📱"No. I still work at the apartment. What's up?" Aaric asked, hearing Carren's unsettled voice.

📱"So don't order lunch from outside, yeah. I'm gonna bring you a side dish that Mama cooked." Carren said quickly.

📱"Ooh, briefly. I'll send a message to Jekob, so he doesn't order." Aaric immediately typed a message and sent it to Jekob who was working in the office.

📱"Ok. It's settled. Then they'll pick you up at the office or at home?" Aaric asked, as he thought Carren might be going home to pick up the side dish.

📱"In the office, Brother. I'm waiting for ojol, because Mama's going to send the side dish here. While waiting, you said you wanted to call, what's up?" Carren asked considering that Aaric said he wanted to contact her.

📱"Let's talk directly, because you're coming here. Anything else you need to get here?" Aaric asked, as he was thinking what to talk about with Carren, it was better in person because Carren would come to his apartment.

📱"rice cook? You want me to cook rice?" Aaric asked in surprise, as he had never done so and Carren asked about it.

📱"Sorry, yes, Brother. That is, if you can cook. So I got there, straight to lunch. If I cook, Papa will have to wait a while." Carren said slowly, explaining his point, so that Aaric would not get angry at him. He had already asked just thought, maybe Aaric had never cooked rice or held rice in the kitchen.

📱"Then I ask Jekob to order rice outside." The solution that came to Aaric's mind, upon hearing Carren's explanation and to address what Carren was worried about.

📱"Ngga no, Brother. I'll get there just cooking. It's not good to eat rice bought from the outside, it's not satisfied." Carren's remarks prevented. He thought, it would be different if you cook your own rice, you can also for dinner.

📱"Good. I'll try to do it. Now vc, yes. So you can teach me." Said Aaric, trying to understand Carren's intentions. She walks into the kitchen and vcs with Carren so she can guide him step by step how to cook rice.

📱"Just so?" Aaric asked after the rice had been safely placed in the rice cooker. 'It turns out it's not that hard.' Say it in the heart.

📱"Yes, Brother. Only so, later I come must have matured. Brother just leave it like that." Carren said with a smile considering the way Aaric washes the rice.

📱"Don't smile. Because I know why you're smiling." Aaric said, as he saw Carren smiling on the phone screen.

📱"Sorry, Brother. The release of his smile." Carren said, he forgot they were still vc, so Aaric could see him smiling.

📱"Good. I'll have them pick you up. C. u." Aaric said in relief, then ended their conversation and returned to the living room.

"What were you doing in the kitchen?" Mr. Biantra asked in surprise, because when he came out of the room he heard Aaric talking in his own kitchen while doing something.

"When she's cooking rice with Carren, because she wants to come bring a side dish for our lunch." Said Aaric, slowly while scratching his non-itchy head.

"Why didn't you tell Papa? Papa can cook rice." Said Mr. Biantra smilingly looking at his son's reddened face.

"Can you cook rice? Why didn't Papa say? So I don't need to be taught Carren." Aaric said protest.

"Papa doesn't know you want to cook rice. But that's good too, you can learn to cook rice. Although he had not cooked rice for a long time, Papa still remembered when he was in college and had to cook his own rice to save. So in an emergency, you'll be able to cook it." Said Mr. Biantra with a smile seeing his son still scratching his head that does not itch.

"What Papa said is this, right, Aaric. Just try it when you get married later, then Carren gets pregnant and craves to eat rice cooked by yourself by you, no need to bother anymore. Just do it like before. So keep remembering how." Said Mr. Biantra increasingly smiling, because it can leadekin his son. Aaric reflexively looked at his Papa with a flushed face.
