Carren asked to reassure her after the two of them sat in the living room. Mr. Biantra remained seated in the dining room to give Aaric and Carren a chance to speak. Jekob started cleaning the dining table.
"Yes, Arra... I'm serious and please explain to Mama. Tomorrow we will come to propose to you officially. About the time to get married, we'll both talk after the proposal later. I want to propose to you as soon as possible, but Papa's here." Aaric said seriously and hoped Carren could support his plan.
Carren looked at Aaric seriously, having yet to understand his point. "What do you mean by Om's mump is here?" Carren asked seriously, seeing Aaric's seriousness.
"I'm planning on taking Papa after proposing to you. I want to check on his health immediately. You can see for yourself his physical condition and why I asked you to make chicken soup for him today." Aaric spoke seriously. Carren looked back at Mr. Biantra.
They met suddenly and had to cook quickly so as not to be late for lunch, so he did not pay attention to Mr. Biantra's condition. He did see Mr. Biantra skinny, but he thought, Mr. Biantra is indeed thin and may be cape' so not fresh. Upon looking back, he understood what Aaric meant.
"Yes, Brother. I'll try to talk to Mama. Is there anything else you're planning? Let me talk and arrange with the employees too, because tomorrow I have to skip back to help Mama at home." Carren said, after understanding Aaric's intentions and thinking about the impact of Aaric's decision.
"Nothing else. That's all I need for Papa to be with me when proposing to you. Others, I can be alone and will talk to you." Aaric said seriously, because he had a very limited time. They will hand over Gungun to Pak Hutama and then to the authorities. He didn't want his Papa in Jakarta, when it all happened.
"Then, after cleaning everything I go straight home, sister. For dinner, brother and Mr. Jekob talked. As for the soup for Om I separated. Then Mr. Jekob just keep warm." Carren thought about Mr. Biantra's health, seeing Aaric's attitude towards his Papa.
"good. Don't you clean it. Let it be Jekob, or I'll call Auntie to come here. Here you look and choose a change of clothes for you, so as not to go home with dirty clothes like that." Said Aaric while handing his ipad to Carren to choose the clothes he would buy.
Looking at the price of all the clothes Aaric had shown, Carren covered his mouth with a finger. The clothes he was wearing were the result of his mother's stitches, to be replaced with clothes from boutiques that cost hundreds of thousands to millions of rupiah just to go home.
"Sir, don't buy clothes to change this. Because I got in the car, I borrowed a shirt or jacket to cover this up." Carren subtly refused, lest Aaric be offended. His clothes were not too dirty, only a little dirty due to the fall of the spoon when he choked.
Aaric himself did not know about women's clothes, so he searched originally at the boutique nearest to his apartment, in order to find a change of clothes for Carren.
"alright. Then, you just pick a dress for tomorrow's event. Than you waste time going looking for her. Or have you prepared the clothes?" Aaric asked, considering he had talked about it with Carren long before, to be willing to propose to her. Carren nodded, as his mother had already prepared it.
"good. You prepare soup for Papa's dinner, I'll grab a shirt and drive you home." Said Aaric while standing up to go to the room. Carren also stood up and held back the rare Aaric by holding his arm.
"Thank you's. I didn't think of that." Aaric said as he hugged Carren affectionately, because he could understand himself and could think of things he had not thought of. He felt relieved and it was easier to organize the others. Without them noticing, Mr. Biantra was watching them.
When Carren lifted his eyes and looked towards the dining room over Aaric's shoulder, he was surprised to see Mr. Biantra looking at them. "Sister, let go of his embrace. We're being seen by Om." Carren said softly, then tried to let go of his embrace, but Aaric did not let go.
"Let Papa see us. Every generation has its own way of solving problems. Everyone has their own way of talking about their problems. Seeing us like this, Papa must know there's no problem with tomorrow's plan." Aaric smiled, imagining his father looking at them.
Realizing Carren was uncomfortable being noticed by her Papa, Aaric twisted his body so that he was the one facing the dining room. "Now you can't see Papa anymore, so calm down. What do you want to talk to me about, because now I don't have any ideas for tomorrow's proposal." Said Aaric who was still hugging Carren with a smile seeing his Papa standing up and walking towards the kitchen following Jekob.
"Is it okay to come to our humble home? Mama and I haven't been able to paint the house and tomorrow we're not in the hunt to do it." Carren thought about what Mama planned to paint the house before Aaric came to propose.
Aaric reflexively let go of his embrace and then took Carren back to sit on the sofa. "If I don't have a problem and Papa may not be a problem either. But if that's a problem for your mama, please think again carefully. Do you want me to close the restaurant for tomorrow's proposal?" Aaric asked seriously, as he had just thought about it.
"Why close the restaurant for a not-too-distant event, sister. What's like just a meeting?" Carren thought quickly to find a solution. At home, tomorrow will be very busy.
"I had to close the restaurant before and after the event, because Papa could not eat and was in a crowded place. Don't let an accident interfere with our show." Aaric thought, maybe someone saw him with his Papa before the plan was implemented. However, his father is quite famous among business people or can meet with his mother's family.
"Oohs... Then just at home. I'll talk to Mama later and we'll do everything we can." Carren said, slowly. He thought he would invite some employees to help him, rather than having to close the restaurant.
"Or do you want us to get engaged here? So you and Mama don't have to bother, and Papa doesn't have to leave the house." Carren looked at Aaric stunned, upon hearing his words.
"That's the solution that just crossed my mind. You talk to Mama first, and it's a last resort if needed. I haven't been able to talk to you much. Why should it be like this, why should it be. Later after we get engaged, I'll make time to talk to you." Aaric said as he held Carren's hand, he hoped Carren could understand what he was doing.
Carren looked at Aaric who was looking at him seriously. "Yes, Brother. I'll talk to Mama." Carren said confidently to convince Aaric.
"good. For you to know, there are two important things that I think about and need to solve. Namely, propose to you officially as soon as possible and bring Papa out as soon as possible. Others, we'll talk after it's done." Aaric said seriously and firmly. Carren nodded strongly to convince Aaric, that he understood him.
