46. Liv Themaris

"I'll go first, yeah, brother!" A girl waved at the door of the Themaris residence. Her brother came out of the house.

"Where are you going, Liv? Me and Haldir want to take you for a walk!" exclaim the brother.

Liv smiled. His skin was white shining as the sun greeted as he set foot on the ground.

"I'm going to the lake. Anyway, how could I possibly disturb Melian's date!" god Liv, make Melian blush red.

"H-hey, it's just a normal walk ...!" call Melian. Liv laughed more and more at the behavior of her brother.

Behind Liv, a lizardan carriage with the symbol of the Legolas family arrives at the grounds of the house. The number one man in the country came down from the cabin. Liv greeted as she lowered her head at the man.

"Greetings, Your Highness Haldir."

The one who was given the honor even snorted. "If it's outside for an informal event like this, call me directly by my name, Liv!"

Liv glanced at the bodyguards accompanying the new king's chariot, then said, "I can be beheaded if it's not polite to call the king by name directly in front of the soldiers!"

"will not. Anyway, soon you'll be my sister-in-law" Haldir said. "Oh yeah, you come with me and Melian for a walk?"

"No ah, I don't want to just watch the two of you date! Bye!" Liv waved her hand as she ran small, away. Haldir laughed at his behavior. The man entered the lobby of the Themaris residence and saw his fiancee standing there welcoming him.

"Your sister, where was she going?" ask Haldir.

Melian answered while glancing outside the house. Liv has disappeared from view. "Oh, as always, to the edge of the lake."

"To be there again?!" haldir doesn't believe it.

Melian nodded. "It was his favorite place since childhood. You met him there for the first time, didn't you?"

"Yes, before I finally meet you." Haldir stroked Melian's hair, then kissed the back of the girl's hand gently. "Today, you're so pretty."

Melian's face became red. However, it did not last long, Dehaman loudly sounded from the direction of the stairs. Olrun Themaris, with a large, wide-breasted stature, descended from the second floor. His prowess was still visible even though it was nearing old age for the elves. Olrun looked at the young pair below, squinting at Haldir, until it finally arrived before him.

Olrun gave a respectful greeting to Haldir, but with eyes still staring intently. Melian realized this, immediately pinched her father's waist.

"Dad! Don't look like that!"

"Aww!" Olrun. Melian gurgled, inexhaustible.

Ever since Liv introduced Haldir to her, the two elves had indeed fallen in love at first sight. Liv introduces Haldir as a secret friend who always accompanies him when he plays by the lake.

This would have shocked his family. Liv, who is not good at making friends because she is very quiet, eventually has a friend. Even more surprising, Liv's only friend is the king.

Olrun Themaris did not approve of Melian and Haldir's relationship. What else if not for the background of Haldir's mother who is only a commoner.

With various persuasions, finally Olrun gave conditions. He will bless them both as long as Haldir can demonstrate his competence as a strong and wise king, and deserves to be called the number one man in the country.

Now, Olrun would not want to bless the relationship between Melian and Haldir, although in his heart still not willing. To be honest, Olrun never took issue with Haldir's family background. Olrun only still considers Melian and Liv as his little girls. He didn't want to let Melian off in marriage just like that.

So, even though Melian had pinched her, Olrun still looked at Haldir as jealous as a child. Haldir knows this too. Therefore, to invite Melian out of the house, he said it carefully.

"Dad, may I take Melian for a walk-in"

"Can't!" quick Olrun toilet. "And I'm not your father yet!"

"No!"

"Dad! Don't!" Melian's turn is pouting now. Until a woman's voice is heard, enter the room.

"What's this?" His soft voice was able to calm the entire tension. Melian ran over to this woman and hugged her.

"Mother ... Dad started so again same Haldir!" Melian. The mother smiled and looked at her husband.

"Olrun, don't be like that" the woman said.

"But, Elanor---"

Olrun wanted to retort, but the look in his eyes was met with a sharp wife's gaze, asking him to be quiet. At that instant, the dashing and mighty old man instantly clenched his mouth. Olrun can fight anyone in this world, except Elanor, his beloved wife.

Elanor turned her gaze to Haldir, then paid her respects. "Greetings, Your Grace. Forgive my husband."

"It's okay, Mrs--"

"Mothers. We'll be your parents soon, too, right?" sahut Elanor's. Haldir smiled as he nodded. Haldir glanced at Olrun, who still looked as if he was a bitch.

"Mother, I go for a walk first, yeah!" Melian hugged her parents body while saying goodbye.

"Oh yeah, which Liv? You didn't bring her?" ask Elanor. Melian shrugged both of her shoulders.

"Liv went first to the lake. I have already invited him!" exclaim Melian.

"Yes, be careful, yeah!" order the mother before the lizardan train heads downtown.

Meanwhile, on the shores of Moonlite lake located behind the palace complex, an elf girl who was being sought by her family was now sitting alone by the lake. Ever since Haldir got engaged to his older brother, the man had rarely accompanied Liv to chat anymore.

People thought that Melian had taken Haldir from Liv's side, when in fact it wasn't. From the very beginning, Liv only considered Haldir as a friend. All these women in Legolas Kingdom praised Haldir for his good looks.

Liv also admitted that her new friend was beautiful, but strangely, Liv's heart did not move at all to consider Haldir more than that. Liv is even happy when Haldir finally meets Melian and they fall in love.

Liv doesn't understand why she's not interested in any man she's ever met. Liv's face is as pretty as Melian's. Liv even has more magic power than Melian, it can even be considered the second strongest after Haldir. This was further proven when he was born, the Great Priest Torion, the holiest man in the land, came to him and gave him a blessing. Great Priest Torion had never done that to anyone before.

Liv was approached by many men, but none of them could be anchored in her heart. For some reason, his feelings were always on the photo in the necklace hanging around his neck. The necklace was given by the Great Priest Torion when Liv was just born. His mother always put the necklace around the girl's neck, thinking of it as a God's blessing.

One time as a teenager, Liv opened a necklace counter the size of half a palm.

There are two pictures there. Not a painting, this one is quality like really a picture captured and immortalized. The first photo contains a pair of adults, a man and a woman, and two small children. Like a family photo.

The second picture shows the face of a young man. Her skin is brown and her ears are round. Obviously this is a feature of the human body. What Liv does not understand is why the Great Reverend Torion gave a necklace containing human images to her.

Why do I feel like I know this guy so well? Who is he, huh? Liv always wondered in her heart.

Always the same question. The one who knew the answer was the Great Priest Torion, but Liv never saw him again after his birth.

Suddenly from a distance, someone ran towards him, approaching on the edge of the lake. Liv looked surprised, she reflexively stood up. The man stopped in front of her, looking at her deeply and warmly.

"You! Your name is Liv Themaris, right?"
