The Antagonist's Full Moon

The Antagonist's Full Moon
35. Crystal Boulder

"Deean!!" Liv yelled out a call, as she looked down into the hole where Dean was mired. His voice sounded echoing. His call was not answered by anything.

"Deean!!" Liv shouted once more. Liv started to panic and almost cried again, if only she had not heard a weak complaining sound from down there.

"Aww ... My butt hurts ... ."

"Dean, are you okay?" tanya Liv made sure, who was answered by a ketus scream.

"My body hurts all!" shouted the man riled, while occasionally still complaining. "Drop the torch here!"

Liv held out a torch that was still burning in her hand. His firelight immediately illuminated the basement. Dean waved both hands up for Liv to see.

The elf girl dropped the torch into position right next to Dean. The man immediately took it. The magic fire was still burning at the end of the torch, making the underground room bright. Now, Liv's location is dark. The elf girl was frightened.

"Wait for what else? Comeon, down!" dean shouted while looking up.

Liv looks shaken. "But .. it looks deep ... ."

Dean sighed furiously. Again the character was acting scared and whiny. "Quick! We can't be here any longer!"

Dean snorted in annoyance. "Put both feet down, then just drop yourself. Hurry on!"

Liv swallowed. Despite knowing she has a black fog, Liv is still a coward.

With hesitation, the elf girl straightened her legs into the hole, then jumped down. The underground cave floor was cold and mossy. However, Liv did not feel the cold, because her body fell on top of Dean who was right under the hole. The black fog protected Liv's body, but not Dean's. The man screamed in pain for a moment.

"Aghhhh!! Get off my body! It hurts!"

"Ah, sorry!"

Dean grimaced in pain. His bones felt like they were about to shift. Liv helped Dean to get up. The man tried to straighten his back while still grimacing.

"Are you okay?" ask Liv to worry. Dean nodded, still enduring the pain. "Come, move! It shouldn't be far from here."

They both started moving. Unlike in the upper cave room earlier, the dark is gripping when there is no torch, this time there is a faint blue glow. Dean and Liv follow the lander. The longer, the brighter the blue light.

"Look, that hunk will save your life."

Dean pointed to a large, sharp-sided rock in the middle of a shallow puddle. He was a meter above Dean's head. The stone was dark blue, giving off a bright light whose rays illuminated the ceiling of the cave, even to the point of bouncing above the surface of the water. There were white light particles flying around the chunk.

"That ... will make me strong?" ask Liv, don't believe it.

Dean nodded confidently. "really. Go and touch the crystal."

Dean pushed Liv's back slowly. The girl stepped into the puddle. Inside only up to the ankle. Liv extended her hand slowly. Light particles seemed to float about, revolving around the tip of his fingers. Until when the fingers touch the tip of the crystal, Liv feels like an electric sting, but not painful.

Those crystal light particles suddenly shone extremely brightly. His light surrounded Liv's body, from head to toe. Feels warm and soft. Liv closed both eyes. Body floated. Slowly, the black on Liv's skin magically disappeared, changing to porcelain white like any other normal elf.

Liv's mouth opened, letting out a black mist from within the moving body swerving to and fro. Immediately, the black fog was surrounded by the same light and the color also became pure white. Meanwhile, Dean himself as the author was also amazed to see the phenomenon

Before long, the light that made Liv float ushered the girl down, resting on the ground again. Liv opened both eyes, and the warm aura of the crystal beam slowly faded, changing the coldness of the cave room.

The girl opened her eyes in disbelief. He raised both arms, looking at her in amazement. His skin is no longer black.

Liv ran small towards the surface of the water, about to reflect on its reflection. What was seen was a beautiful elf, very similar to Melian, but had a slightly different jaw shape.

"This ... me??"

Liv fumbled his face. Lost is already the existence of Liv the cursed noble princess, everything has become a thing of the past.

"Congratulations, yes," said Dean. Liv leaned towards the man standing behind her.

"What a congratulation!"

"Because I already know this scene, because I wrote it! Never mind, let's hurry back to the upper cave floor!" take Dean.

Dean and Liv walked back to where they had come from, until they came under the hole where they had fallen.

Liv scrunched her forehead. "How can I get back to the top? There are no stairs!"

"really?" Liv was hesitating about herself.

"Try it!"

Liv closed her eyes and concentrated. Then, he snapped a finger. Slowly, Liv opened her eyes. His body was already floating unbalanced above the ground.

"I can only make myself fly! How's yours?" ask Liv to be confused.

Dean grabbed Liv's hands, clasped them tightly. Both of the men eyes stared hard. Liv was acting wrong on her own. "W-what?"

"Bring your magic energy into my body, until it makes me light and float. Then, take me upstairs," Dean said.

Liv is concentrating. Light shimmered all over the girl's body, which then radiated to Dean's body. The man held the torch and one of his hands joined Liv. The magic light flowed from there. His body started to float following the elf girl.

Liv took Dean flying up, through the hole. Until finally, they arrived at the lip of the earthen pit and landed safely.

"Haahhh .. Finally, one goal has been achieved!" dean shouted as he breathed a sigh of relief. Both of his hands were clenched upwards. Liv was happy, even more so now she was not the weak elf she used to be.

"Oh, maybe I can make your ears taper off for a while to get to the temple. At least, you don't have to hide anymore when you meet people!" liv's proposal, which Dean welcomed.

"Good idea! I'm sick of this hood!" Dean holds the hood over his head. Liv laughed at him.

"All right, wait a minute." Liv closed her eyes, concentrating. He focused on turning Dean's ears from round to taper.

However, strangely, unlike earlier, there was not the slightest luminous glow coming out from Liv's body. The magic doesn't work. When Liv opened her eyes, Dean's ears were round as usual.

"Ah, why is this .. I can't use my magic!" Liv tried so hard to snap her fingers so many times, but nothing changed.

Dean scrunched his forehead. "REally?!"

Liv nodded, panicking. "How is it! Did this happen in your novel too?!"

Dean shakes. "No, in my novel, you can be instantly powerful and control your magic well to destroy the world!"

"But now you can't! I have to how!" Liv was really panicked, it could have been a futile trip all the way to this cave when her magic could not be used.

"Calm down! I will be able to!" Dean said so, but he also thought hard about what differentiated the present from the novel.

"I think you just need a strong desire. In the novel, you hate everyone so much that you intend to destroy everything. You just need a will equal to that." Dean came to the conclusion.

"But I don't want to destroy anything! How can!" liv exclaimed as she continued to try to cast her magic.

Dean clucking. "Not to destroy, what matters is equal! Ah, yes already. Come on, let's get out of this cave."

"Where are we going?" ask Liv. "It's definitely late at night outside now."

"We spent the night in this cave, but not here. We'll just stay around the mouth of the cave. Then, early in the morning we meet Mr. Frode. He must have reached Themaris."

Liv was happy. "Uncle Frode! I miss him!"

Dean and Liv return on foot to the mouth of the cave. Along the way, Liv repeatedly tries to bring out her magic power, but the results are nil. Again and again Dean encouraged him.

As she walked, Liv kept trying. Finally, even the little magic he could do, like making the torch fire brighter. She could make the tip of her dress, which had been soaked in a puddle of water under the crystal chunk, dry again. But that's still not enough. Supposedly, Liv's strength was far greater than just such a trivial ability.

Arriving at the mouth of the cave, it was already dark night, just like Liv said earlier. Dean prepares the fabrics as bedding for himself and Liv. Dean and Liv fell asleep immediately after eating the last batch of bread.

The next morning, Liv made use of her body condition, which was already like any other normal elf. The girl went out and bought food for her next trip in a nearby village, while Dean still seemed to be soundly asleep.

Everything seems to be going well. Everything's fine. Liv smiled welcoming the autumn sun, then walked cheerfully. However, when he returned home, a row of soldiers had marched against him in front of the mouth of the cave, complete with all the weaponry they had.

Liv stopped, she was flabbergasted when she saw an elf she was very familiar with, standing in front of the line of soldiers. Melian Themarists.

"Hello, my sister, we finally meet again here."
