Dean recalled the sacred temple portal, which should have helped the man cross the universe. The portal was revealed in the final chapter of the novel "The Wasted Prince".
In the storyline, when having to face an evil character who threatens the safety of the kingdom, Haldir is required to be much stronger in a short time. Later, the Great Priestess informed him that he had received a dumpling from Goddess Lileathhof regarding the mantra to cross the universe. It was in the other universe that Haldir made use of significant time-spinning differences to train against the antagonist.
However, crossing the portal required two conditions. First, there is the object of the universe to be addressed. In the story, Haldir uses a stone given by the Goddess during the Moon Festival. Second, there were drops of pure noble blood.
Of course, this could not be easily achieved by a human Dean. The temple is located at the top of the Nautabu Mountains. To go there as a human being without magic would be dangerous. He could have been chased by the elves like before. Besides, obviously Dean is not a noble.
I need a travel buddy. Someone whose magic is strong and is a noble. But, where can I find such an elf?!
Uh! I knew! Liv Themar!
Dean's eyes were wide open, when he remembered a character he knew could meet both criteria.
In fact, I was annoyed with the critics who defended the antagonist character. Now, instead, have to pin his fate on him.
The antagonist is Liv Themaris. Haldir will meet two girls. He and Liv are friends, but the one he loves is Melian. Liv's love for the Prince turned to hate. Then, the girl found a stone manna that can turn the hatred into a great power many times over. Liv will turn into a monster that Haldir must fight at the end of the story.
I should be able to persuade him to take a trip to Mount Nautabu. How-to? Will he believe that I am from another world?
One idea came to Dean's mind. He remembered the words of the critics who had blasphemed him.
Should I change the fate of the antagonist, as an offer to have him come along?
Dean decides, he must go see Liv Themaris by the Moonlite lake when the full moon arrives. Only then, Liv would come out of the room to meet Haldir.
When will the full moon happen next?
Dean looked around. Next to him, there was an old elf man sleeping on the paper-floored ground. His body was thin dry and looked so limp. Clothing worn until it no longer looks its original color. In front of him, there was a wooden box to accommodate the harassment given by the surrounding residents, which was still empty even though it was almost dusk. The old man seemed to have no place to live at all.
But Dean doesn't care about any of that. He needs someone to tell him when the full moon will shine.
Dean approached the man, not forgetting that he covered the entire face, especially the round ears. Dean left only his two eyes that were not covered in cloth.
"Sir, I want to ask!" said Dean. His tone sounded impolite in the ears of the interlocutor. But the old man was patient. He woke up momentarily from his sleep and looked at Dean with a limp look.
"What's up, son?"
"When will the full moon happen anytime soon?" asked Dean curiously. The old man looked up, trying to remember.
"About another month .. " the man replied.
Dean sensed the surrounding air, then circulated a glance at the trees around. The leaves still looked green, but some had already turned red. This is the last month of summer.
"When will winter come?"
Frode scratched his head. "There's still four months left. What's the matter, son?"
Dean thought for a moment. Dean writes in the novel, that the temple portal can only be opened once a year, the days during which the new moon phase appears, in the last month of autumn. That means, exactly three months from now.
"There's nothing. Thank you." Thank you." Dean nodded slightly, then intended to return to where he had been sitting. However, it turned out that his hand was being held by the old man.
Dean scrunched his forehead. "Solicit what please?"
"Please get me some food. The fruits of the Litforest are fine, too" the man said, pointing to the inner-city forest where Dean had first appeared.
Of course Dean wanted to refuse, but he had not had the chance to say it yet, the old man begged him once more. "Please, I haven't eaten, it's been three days. My body and magic are too weak right now to be able to find food by themselves."
Dean sighed. He knew, the man would not let go before Dean accepted his request. Moreover, when the old man said, "I will repay all your kindness."
Dean started thinking. Looks like this guy can be used. Finding a partner was the first thing I had to do in order to survive this world.
"All right, wait here. My name is Dean, what's your name?" ask Dean. They both shook hands.
"You can call me Frode" replied the old man.
"I'll do your wish. Instead, you better keep your promise later to repay me."
Without further ado, Dean immediately went towards the forest. Apparently the three elves who were chasing him were gone when Dean came out of the Litavenue settlement.
Maybe they have given up? ask Dean in my heart. He was careful that the cloth hood on his head did not come off. It's like life to Dean in this world.
In the forest, Dean had little trouble climbing the fruiting trees he could find. Dean often climbed mango trees in front of his house in the village. The purple apple and red banana that Dean had seen before, became his target for picking.
Although he had never seen these fruits on earth, Dean wrote that all natural products in this forest are not toxic.
The hood that Dean took from the clothesline was long enough to cover his head and also became a container of fruits taken. She was like a hooded woman who had just returned from the market. Soon, Dean returned to Litavenue.
As soon as he arrived before Frode, Dean poured the fruits onto the ground. Dean did just that so he wouldn't have to take the hood off his head. Frode was so surprised when Dean managed to pluck that much fruit for him. Indeed, the number when calculated there are as many as one dozen.
"Here, eat as much as you can" said Dean. Frode thanked me many times.
He invited Dean to sit down and enjoy the fruits Dean picked. "Eat. You must be hooked on Legolas's natural results."
Dean sat back next to the old man and ate one of the purple apples. It felt amazingly fresh, after that he ran around long enough to avoid the chase. The purple apple had light purple fruit flesh and a sweet liquid. The sensation Dean felt in his mouth was cool after chewing the apple.
Dean wondered why Frode did not pick the fruits himself, but it was quite easy even for Dean to climb the trees in the forest.
"As I said earlier, my body is too weak. I am sick and have no family. My magic is also not currently as strong as other people, to be able to pluck these fruits," Frode replied as soon as Dean asked.
Dean scrunched his forehead. "You're not trying to get treatment?"
Frode. "Going to the doctor requires a fee. My business has been bankrupt for a long time. I don't have anything anymore" he said, peeling a red banana. The flesh of the fruit inside looked orange and gave off a very fragrant aroma, smelling down to Dean's nostrils.
"Perhaps, indeed my destiny of the Gods is already like this ... ."
"Destiny?" dean asked not to understand.
