"Deean!!"
Liv stopped trying. He saw Dean in pain. Fresh blood poured out from the man's wrist. Apparently, even though his hand had turned transparent, the flowing blood still looked red. The guard laughed at this.
"Well, lady, please try your best, because every time you try to get out of those handcuffs, the attack will be turned on this human!" The guard also walked away.
"Dean, I'm sorry ... ." Liv's tears made her eyes blur.
"Don't think of me! Continue on!"
"But--"
"Continue!!"
Liv was confused. He's back on Dean's orders.
"Aghhhh!!"
Every time she heard Dean screaming in pain, Liv grimaced. The girl closed her eyes, frightened to see Dean in the other cell losing more blood. The handcuff's sting strength keeps turning on Dean, equivalent to the magic power Liv gave to break free. Plus, since Dean was human, then his magic sting was painful many times over.
Liv's body shook. Her tears had spilled over dripping onto the handcuffs. He was silent for a moment, so that Dean did not feel the pain that was endless. However, Dean instead shouted ordering otherwise.
"What are you doing ...? Why silence ...?" Dean gasped for breath as he asked this question. Sweat flooded his entire body.
"But .. You will be in pain ... ."
"Say, continue! The longer we're here, the more I'll disappear ... Pain is still better than disappearing, before it can go to the portal .. continue ... ."
Liv was silent for a moment. He thinks hard. The more I try, Dean's gonna be in more pain. I had to get out of these handcuffs in one try. Since the strength of these handcuffs has been connected, it means that if mine comes off, Dean's will can also be removed ... .
I should be able to .. I should be able to .. no one ever believed me but Dean. Apparently, Melian was just pretending all this time. Dean means so much .. I don't want to lose him ...
Oh, God .. give me the power .. please!
Liv closed her eyes tightly, once again she wanted to try. This time, more focus, more concentration. Body vibrates. The dust and gravel around floated flying. Dean, who was exhausted and sick all over the body, witnessed this rare phenomenon from the bars of the opposite cell. Before long, a stream of magic emanated so dazzlingly from Liv's body.
In the next few seconds, an explosive sound boomed, knocking down the ceiling as well as the stone walls of the prison.
Liv opened her eyes slowly. The surrounding situation had become a rubble. The iron handcuffs on his hands and feet had been broken and detached. On top of his head, there was a large chunk of stone almost befalling, if only the mist in the girl's body did not protect him. Liv got rid of the lump with magic power that she had now smoothly released.
Liv approached the iron-cracked cells, which had been slightly bent by the explosion. Liv held two bars with each hand, then let out another force. The two instantly bent and formed a wider hole, following the girl's hand movements.
Liv stepped out. The prison corridor was filled with rubble. The girl looked towards the guard who had been hit by a large chunk of rock. Liv had no idea how big of an impact she had caused from the blast. A portion of the ceiling of this underground prison made of stone had collapsed, revealing a clear daytime sky. Looks bright until the light enters through the gap.
Liv's approaching Dean's cell. Both of his eyes widened when he saw the man faint. Apparently, Dean felt the last sting before the handcuffs on his hands and feet slipped off.
Liv immediately cleaned up the debris that hit the man using her magic, then carried him. Dean regained his senses when a hand rubbed against his skin.
"Liv ...?" Dean opened his eyes. His view is unclear. The first thing she saw was Liv's smile on her side.
"We are free! Come on, get the hell out of here, before Melian's sister comes. Hold on to me strong!"
Dean and Liv's hands are intertwined. Liv's magic radiates, seen flowing from the girl's body to Dean, through the arms of their hands.
Just as time exited the underground cavern, both Dean and Liv's feet floated, flying up to two meters above the ground. Continuously rising, heading to the ground level above through the gap of the prison ceiling hole that had collapsed, then floated towards the outside of Themaris castle.
Melian screamed from behind. Melian snapped a finger, forming a magic arrow that shot directly into Dean's waist.
"Aghhhh!!" Dean spontaneously releases his handrails with Liv. The man and Liv fell into the street outside the castle fence.
"Dean! You all right?" ask Liv to panic.
Dean immediately got up while limping. "I can hold it, let's go!"
"Wait!" An oxin wagon appeared from a distance. The figure they missed arrived. Frode seemed to be driving his oxins quickly, approaching Dean and Liv.
"Uncle!" pekik Liv happy. Frode stopped the cart containing the fruit barrels, stopping right in front of Dean who was holding his arm. Frode looked at it.
"You're not dressed and you're hurt, son! And Miss Liv, you're so beautiful!" frode's comment, made Liv blush.
"Thank you, Uncle, hehehe ... ."
"Already, come! We don't have much time! Liv, you can fly this wagon, right?" ask Dean urgently. Liv nodded quickly.
"Let me be in control. Uncle just sat in the back with Dean."
Liv climbs onto the steering wheel, while Dean and Frode occupy the cart behind. Liv once again cast her magic, this time a beam of her power beam enveloped the entire wagon. Then, the four-wheeled object flew by, complete with both oxins in front.
The two animals looked panicked when they saw the ground beneath them drifting away. Liv stroked the heads of both of them. From Liv's hand also looks magic flowing. At once, the two oxins seemed calm and accepted the fact that they could fly. Then, Liv immediately steered the wagon towards the Nautabu Mountains.
"You guys hold on, yeah!" liv yelled at Frode and Dean. The three of them flew over with oxin carts.
The three of them looked amazed at the scene below, which was getting smaller and smaller. They flew away from the city, the scenery below changed from towering trees to farms and farms. Liv tried to balance the position of the cart so as not to catch the wind blowing.
Meanwhile, Frode looked frantically at Dean's entire body full of red patches, especially on the arms and both wrists due to the sting of iron handcuffs magic.
"What is this red patch?!" frode shouted in panic. The old man became more and more when Dean mentioned that the spot was human blood.
"Wear clothes!" Frode took out something from the wooden crate that was in the corner of the wagon. A brown elf dress. "There's only this, hopefully it's fitting."
"Your wagon has been like a Doraemon pouch for a long time, whatever it is" Dean commented. The man was wearing the clothes Frode had given him.
"Dora-what is it? Quickly treat your wounds!" asked Frode not to understand.
Dean shook his head while laughing. "It's nothing. And about this wound, it'll heal itself."
"What do you mean?"
Dean also revealed the strange thing that happened to him. "My wounds heal faster than usual, probably because I'm not a creature of this world. But the impact, the longer I'm here, the more I'm going to disappear" he said, wiping off blood on his arm, revealing an unseen limb.
Frode stared in horror at the man. "Meanwhile, we should hurry up to the temple, otherwise--"
"Hey, stop!!" Melian's voice was heard again. Spontaneously, Frode and Dean turned simultaneously towards the back. Melian was riding a hawker, followed by dozens of soldiers in similar vehicles.
Then, a row of magic arrows shot towards the wagon that Liv, Dean, and Frode were riding on.
