The Antagonist's Full Moon

The Antagonist's Full Moon
22. Oxin Carts

"Only to Mr. Frode. He's my friend I told you about. He's been a blessing to me for as long as I'm here" Dean said.

"Meanwhile, she also knew that you were a human from another world?" ask Liv. The girl patted the eel, inexhaustible.

"Just calm down, he's not going to expose this anywhere!" exclaim Dean. "Sir Frode, please take care of the room rental for Liv, yes!"

"All right," said Frode, then helped Liv carry the girl's bag. "Come, Miss!"

"Yes, I'm going first." Liv went out of the room to the first floor. With all the curse marks attached to Liv, no one would want to deal with her, including the receptionist. Fortunately, there was Frode ready to help.

After the reception, Frode returned to Dean's room and asked, "You're leaving tomorrow morning?"

Dean nodded. "Yes. But I'm still confused, what vehicle to ride to get to the city of Themaris."

"Themary? Not directly to the top of the Nautabu Mountains?" ask Frode. Dean explains that Liv must first gain her powers at Themaris before she can enter the Lileathhof temple area.

"In addition to dispelling the monsters that we might encounter during the trip, its power is also useful to be able to enter the temple area."

"What is in the temple area?" ask Frode. Ordinary citizens like him never once went there. The offerings were delivered usually through small temples in each city, then gathered by priests, and then delivered to Lileathhof.

Dean glared, trying to remember what he wrote as a narrative about Lileathhof.

"I write, there is a layer of defense that the priests put up there, to deter anyone with malicious intent in the temple area.

You know, a lot of offerings were sent there from all over the citizens. Only people who possess great magic energy can pass through those layers of defense."

"Oh, that's right, yeah!" Frode nodded in understanding. "Oh yeah, I'd like to offer you some help. When it comes to transportation, don't worry. I can handle it."

"really?" ask Dean.

Frode gave a reassuring smile and said, "Yes, take it easy."

The next morning, Liv was getting ready with all the supplies. Now, Liv was dressed, when suddenly the door to her room opened. Dean stands in the doorway and is shocked to see Liv. Spontaneously, the elf girl shouted.

"Sorry!" dean said, he hastily closed the door again.

"Don't go into someone else's room!" shouted Liv riled. All this time, no one had ever dared to enter his room just like that.

Rumors of Liv's curse even circulated widely to the ears of the servant at Themaris's house, so that none of them would be willing to deal with him.

Liv always provides nothing for herself. Melian always knocks on the door first if she wants to call Liv. Just this time, he noticed there was someone as impolite as Dean.

"Well, if you change your clothes, lock the door!" reply Dean, no less upset. He only intended to pick up the girl and help her pack up. How could she have known, that Liv was dressed.

Liv herself regretted not locking the door immediately, having returned from the public bathroom on the first floor of the inn. After the commotion, Liv finally let Dean in. The look on his face was still grumbling with seeing Dean.

Being stared at like that made Dean so riled up as well. Finally the man said, "I am your creator. How could I possibly be interested in my own character!"

"You think I'd like to know if you're interested or not!" liv's reply was no less fierce. All my life, just this time anyway, Liv was arguing with someone. Even with Melian, Liv never raised her tone when she spoke, as she currently does.

Once everything is ready, Liv goes out of the room and toes the bag. Without hesitation, Dean took over the handle of the bag and carried it on his shoulders.

"Even if we're different, you're elves and I'm human, but I'm still male. My pride falls if I just shut up to see a woman carrying heavy things!"

"Oh ... ." Liv sedkkit was stunned by Dean's speech. Usually, he is always treated like garbage or even nothing at all. This time, she was treated as a woman.

"Have not daydreamed. Come on!" take Dean. They both went down the stairs.

"What are we going up to go to Themaris? Remember, the guard is tight!" persemat Liv's.

"Eitherway. Last night, Mr. Frode guaranteed you something about transportation."

Dean and Liv went out of the simple inn. Just setting foot back on the ground, the two of them were greeted by Frode, who was driving a vehicle.

"You two, come here!" Frode waved at Dean and Liv. The two looked at each other, before finally approaching Frode on the wheel chair of a new-looking wagon, pulled by two large brown-horned cows.

"This is .. oxin animals, isn't it?" dean asked to confirm, pointing at one of the cow-like animals. Frode nodded. "really. Is this in your world too?"

"Ah, no. I wrote it taking inspiration from two different kinds of animals in my world, cows and bulls." Dean tried to stroke one of the oxin heads, then the animal moaned like an ordinary cow.

"We're gonna ride this wagon, Uncle?" ask Liv. The girl watched the contents of the cart that Frode was driving. There are sacks of ingredients to make peanut sauce. There were also wooden barrels containing the fruits of Litforest.

The area of the cart itself is about two hundred times 120 centimeters. The wood on the edge has a height of one hundred centimeters each. Enough for Dean and Liv to sit in the middle, among the things.

"Oh, the last few days you've been busy on your own, so this is what you've been working on, Mr Frode?" tanha Dean, watch the contents of the wagon.

Frode nodded steadily. The old man sat in the steering chair which was higher than the cab of the cart.

"I told you about it yesterday. There are big merchants living outside the city. He was interested in selling rujak and satay in his city. You said it was up to me. So, I took the trade deal, and he prepared this oxin cart!"

"Hmmm, then, we can reach the Nautabu mountain range in less than two weeks!" sahut Dean smiled.

Liv goes up first. The wagon was quite tall, equivalent to his chest, making the girl need help.

Dean helps make a foothold with both palms together, then Liv rises by resting one foot on it. Dean climbs up last, with the help of Liv's hand-pull that's already inside the wagon.

Frode looked back for a moment. "Both of you, wear a tight veil when there will be an examination. The guards won't check the face behind the veil, but we have to keep watch. Act if you are my assistant. Understood?"

"Good, Uncle!" sahut Liv.

Dean scrunched his forehead. "What features of my human body can't you hide with magic?"

"You know my magic is weak, right? How could I possibly do that!" liv. Frode said something similar. "It takes high-level magic to change one's body."

"Tch!" Dean clucking. Liv looked at the man annoyed. "Remember, you made us weak!"

Dean became riled up and said, "After Themaris, you will no longer be weak!"

"Then wait until later. You want to turn into an elf forever, I don't care!" reply Liv. Dean was upset.

"Hey, stop! You guys just fight!" Frode looked at Dean and Liv.
