The Antagonist's Full Moon

The Antagonist's Full Moon
42. Grand Priests

"Who are you?!" shouted a soldier who stood at the front, allegedly the leader of the temple troops who confronted Liv and Dean. Liv shuddered in horror as her eyes met the soldiers.

Dean clucking. He forgot that this layer was guarded by the temple soldiers. They were in charge of guarding from anyone who managed to barge in without the Great Priestess' permission, just like Dean and Liv did at the moment. Dean also wrote that the strength of the temple soldiers is twice that of city castle soldiers such as Melian troops.

Liv reflexively raised both hands, indicating that she did not intend to attack or harm anyone. Then, Liv pleaded, "Please, we want to meet the Great Priestess. It's urgent!"

"Only interested can meet him!" answer a soldier.

Liv was surprised, she did not expect that it was not that easy to go to where the portal was. Liv's trying to rack her brain for the right reasons.

Suddenly, Dean stands in front of Liv, facing the soldiers. "At least take us to the temple first, I will explain everything to the Great Priestess. Look at!"

Dean opened his round ears before the soldiers. "I'm human, but I can break through your protective layer. Must be the Great Priestess interested in hearing this."

The soldiers gasp. They did not expect that there were humans in this day and age, even more so having great magic energy until they could break through the protective layer of Lileathhof. The two front-most warriors looked to discuss, then nodded.

Eventually, their eyes returned to Dean and Liv. "Alright, but you two hands we must tie first, just in case."

Just got out of handcuffs earlier, now Dean and Liv must be willing to be tied tight again by these soldiers. Not just any rope they use, but those that have been given magic spells in order to have the function of a sting, just like anti-magic handcuffs, even with the power of many times.

Later, Dean and Liv walk escorted by the soldiers from all sides. The distance between the protective layer that Dean and Liv breached to the temple was not far, only about two hundred meters. In less than five minutes, Dean and Liv are treated to a stunning view of the Lileathhof temple. Despite the night, the temple is bright.

Unlike other buildings made of large tree trunks, Lileathhof temple forms like the buildings on earth. The building has four large pillars supporting the outside. Then, once inside, will step on the floor layered with red carpet, stretching from the corridor to the prayer hall. There were other smaller pillars inside, similar to the ones outside.

Liv's body was goosebumps in astonishment. The girl continued to circulate her gaze to and fro. There was a mysterious, sacred impression upon entering this temple.

Dean and Liv continued walking down the corridor until they reached the prayer hall, which had a towering ceiling. On the right and left side of the room were long chairs, five each. In the front area there is a podium for the pastor to recite prayers.

Currently, there were several priests dressed in long white-and-white dresses in the room. As soon as the door of the prayer hall opened and Dean stepped inside, the priests gasped.

They all turned their heads for a moment towards the human man. Not only the look of shocked faces they displayed, some even closed both eyes with their hands, like they did not want to see Dean langsug.

The Great Priestess who was leading the prayer, immediately approached Dean and Liv in a hurry. The long white beard and wrinkles on the face make it look older than other pastors. Even so, he still tried to run towards Dean, without giving the slightest explanation as to who Dean and Liv were.

As soon as he arrived in front of Dean, the Great Priest surprisingly bent his body as low as possible, saying, "Welcome, Master Creator!"

Spontaneously, the temple soldiers escorting the human man gasped. Liv was equally surprised. Although Liv knew that Dean was the creator of the world, but the elf girl did not expect that the Great Priestess could recognize Dean directly.

A soldier asked the Great Priest. "Master Creator ... You mean ...?"

Then, he was shocked when both of Dean's wrists were tied to a rope. "What the fuck are you guys! Untie the!"

"I'm sorry!" The two soldiers soon untied the ties that reined in Liv and Dean's wrists respectively.

"You recognize me?" dean asked as his left hand examined the right wrist that was sore due to being tied.

The Great Priestess nodded and said, "Previously introduce, my name is Torion and I---"

"Yes, you are Pastor Torion. Of course I know you. How do you know I created this world?" ask Dean again.

Great Priestess Torion smiled, "Your magic energy is so great, Master, it exceeds even anyone in this room, including me and this young Miss. Like light, your body is hundreds of times more dazzling than everyone else in the world" Torion said.

Dean nodded in understanding. He had such great magic energy, only he could not bring it out as power. Even so, this explained why his injured body was able to heal quickly. His magic energy healed Dean from all the wounds he had received during this elf world.

Dean sighed in relief, "Thankfully, I don't need to explain at length. Straight away, my goal here is ... ."

Dean briefly explains his sudden journey trapped in the world of the elves, and his desire to return to the world of origin, through the portal in the temple. The conflict with Melian was also explained.

Dean's story ends with a request. "Please help me activate the portal."

Pastor Torion was shocked. He stroked his long beard. "I have recorded the spell given by the Goddess through the dream, but I have not finished translating it. Therefore, I don't understand how."

"Have you forgotten that I am the creator of this world?" Dean lifted one end of his lips, smiling. "I know the translation, I also know what it takes to activate the pot."

"Ah, that's right!" The face of Reverend Torion seemed radiant. "Then let's get you to the portal."

Before delivering Dean and Liv, Reverend Torion approached the warrior leader and said, "Take the protective layer even tighter, lest anyone succeed in breaking through and disrupting this ritual."

"Ready, go!" The leader of the soldiers and his troops went back out of the temple and stood guard around the protective layer.

Reverend Torion pointed the way towards the back of the podium. There are two steps that connect to the top floor where the temple library is located. However, the portal was in the basement. Liv looked confused, while Dean looked calm.

Suddenly, Reverend Torion pressed a small spot on the wooden surface between the two steps. In the next second, the white wood surface rotated, displaying what was stored behind it. There's a small circular staircase, hidden there.
