"A-what .... what happens next ...?" liv asked, so doubtful that she wanted to know the answer. Dean sighed for a moment, before continuing.
"Your magic has always been the weakest compared to the other elves, even though the energy in your body is a lot.
Finally, you find a way to release all that energy and turn it into power. In an instant, you turned into the strongest elf in this world. You kill the people around you. You--"
"Enough! Stop that!!" liv shouted as she closed both ears, trying to prevent herself from being further provoked.
But Dean still doesn't care. "You're starting to take your own father's life. You started attacking the capital, then--"
"No!! That's lying! I'll never get rid of Dad!"
"Seeing the incident, Haldir did not remain silent. After gaining strength in a short period of time, he started attacking you. You guys started to fight magic with each other. In the end, you lose, then-"
"I told you, stop it!!" Suddenly, Liv took her magic out of both hands, then immediately grabbed Dean, until finally the man was thrown backwards.
"Aghhhh!!"
"Eh?" Liv was confused by herself. Because, he knew that his magic power was very weak. Perhaps, the equivalent of a toddler elf. Liv didn't expect at all, that she could make someone else fall to the brink like Dean is today.
Liv immediately approached Dean, fearing that something might happen to the man. However, as soon as she wanted to lend a hand, Liv realized something was different from Dean's body, as the man's hood was revealed. The young man was not porcelain white like the other elves, but brown. Her ears are round and her hair is black. Liv just realized, that black hair she saw last night. Because so afraid of being caught by the citizens, Liv forgets the things that are visible to the eyes.
Once, when she started school, Melian often read the contents of her textbooks to Liv. One of them is a book called "World History: The War of the Elves and Humans". For Liv, who never went to school, the only knowledge she gained was from her school books.
*In the book it is written, if human characteristics are tanned skin and round ears, as well as white, blonde, red, brown, and black hair.
All of these colors are common in the world, except black. Only humans can have it. And, humans also had weak magic defenses. So* ....
Liv gasps. The hand that the girl was about to stretch out to help Dean, was now covering her gaping mouth in astonishment. "A-ka-you ... human?!"
"Nhhh ... ." Dean tried to get back up on his own in the end, holding onto his chest in pain. His shirt was like a burning hole, but it did not bleed as hard as the previous wound by the elf trio. There were only a few drops of thick red liquid, falling on the surface of the wooden floor of the room.
It had been twice that the young man had been struck by a magic attack in this world he himself created. In the narrative, Dean only writes that the defense of the human body is weak when exposed to magic attacks. It turned out, the word 'weak' had quite an impact on him now.
"Yes, I'm human, as you can see. But I come from another world. I'm not one of those humans whose race went extinct in wars thousands of years ago" Dean said.
"You know our history?" ask Liv. Dean clucked and said, "Of course! I told you, I'm the one who wrote the story of this world!"
"So ... My whole unfortunate fate .. You wrote it too?" ask Liv. The girl began to believe what Dean was saying. Dean nodded and replied, "Unfortunately, yes."
"You know how else, I'm just here to make up stories. How do I know that in the end, the world I created came to life like this and-"
"You!!" Liv pushed Dean's body. Untouched as before, Dean remained unmoved on the spot. Liv didn't attack him using magic. When it was just a physical attack, humans were much stronger than elves.
"You ruined my life! Do you know, I'm insulted and bullied all day, every time I go out! I could never breathe free air without someone else!!"
Liv yelled and banged Dean, who was immediately restrained by the young man's two hands. "I know, relax!"
"Do you also know that I don't want to kill my mother! But because of your writing, until now even my own father hated me! Now, by the time I finally have a friend, you want to make me have to fight it, just as the cover of your novel?!"
Liv's punch weakened, her sobbing sound tightened, leaving a great sense of guilt on Dean. But, everything has happened. The only thing left now is how to fix everything.
"I can change your destiny" Dean said. Liv immediately raised her head and asked in a tone of disbelief. "Really?"
"Yes. But to do that, I need to be able to return home to my home world. Only then, can I edit my script."
Liv wiped away the tears that were still left on her cheeks. It was as if he had just heard a new hope for his life. "W-how can you go back to your world?" ask Liv enthusiastically.
"I need your help" Dean said. Liv frowned and asked, "My help?"
"I want to take you on a journey to the top of the Nautabu Mountains. There is a holy temple. There's a portal to another universe inside."
"Temple at the top of the Nautabu Mountains? You mean, Lileathhof?" ask Liv to make sure. Dean nodded, "Yes, that's his name."
Lileathhof is a temple that Dean created for the citizens of Legolas Kingdom to worship the moon goddess, Lileath. In this world, there were many Gods worshipped by the elves, but the Kingdom of Legolas dedicated themselves to making Lileath the ultimate Goddess to worship.
Inspired by the Goddess in one of the games Dean has played, Lileath is the Goddess of divination, dreams, and luck. She is also known as the Lake Girl, because it is believed to appear above the surface of the lake water in the middle of the year, when one of the full moon phase nights in summer arrives.
The Goddess was present to give the citizens dreams and good luck, then give a picture of the prophecy of Legolas Kingdom in the future, on the surface of the water. That is why the Lunar Festival is held once a year on the shores of Moonlite lake. Residents from other cities also want to be able to go to the capital to attend this big celebration.
However, although Moonlite lake is the site of the Lunar Festival, offerings are made at the Lileathhof temple, at the top of the Nautabu mountains. This sacred temple is the second most important place to worship the Goddess of the moon. Residents send donations as offerings through the temple throughout the year.
"In my novel, Haldir goes to the temple to strengthen himself in order to fight you at the end of the story. Through the portal that was there, Haldir could go across the universe."
