Chapter 96 - Execution Day

All the members of The Eagle are so eagerly preparing for their annual party, especially when Ethan announces that they are all duty-free until the next day.

Some of the family members are welcome to join Ethan, while the ones with no family remain at the base.

It was apparently a breath of fresh air for Erik as some of the returning members made the work of Erik and his friends easier.

The clock has shown at 11:30, all members of The Eagle gathered in a room that they had Free Island. A room so spacious, that they only place once a year for annual parties.

If they have entered this Free Island, then it means they are free to do anything. Drunk, dancing, eating, sleeping and certainly no guns. In this place, they really blend like family.

"Mr Mayer!" one of the young men raised his hand.

"You need anything?" ethan asked in such a cold tone.

"You didn't go back to your family by yourself?" ask the young man who immediately makes Ethan remember Louisa again. "I heard a rumour that you had someone special out there."

"That's right" said Ethan without evading. "But you are my family and this base is my home" he added. "So, I'm going to enjoy this new year with all of you."

Suddenly everyone cheered excitedly, some even jumped.

"Where are the food and drink?" shouted one of the young men there.

"It's only half twelve" cried another young man.

"Do we have to wait exactly 12 o'clock? It was like a child" protested another young man, who seemed impatient to eat and drink.

"We've been here since 10, I think we'll drink and eat right away" another complained.

"Don't forget the music!" Others chimed in, making the room very crowded. In fact, the Mafia members who look terrible, tense faces, sharp eyes and without a smile, are now like children who are in the playground.

"Happy do!" ethan exclaimed before he finally walked out of the room.

While on the other hand, Erik now managed to get into the kitchen. He quietly mixed their food with sleeping pills, making him smile happily, feeling his plan had already worked.

Erik immediately sent a message to his plotters that he had managed to put sleeping pills into the food of the members of The Eagle.

"I'm sure, after this it will be very easy to kill Ethan and his two shadows," Erik cynically. "By making the members of Thea Eagle unaware it would be great, so that they would not have to fight and die. Either way, I'm gonna need them to continue with this organization."

Erik was so confident, feeling his plan was already perfect.

On the other hand, Erik's plotters and his army prepare at a place not far from Ethan's base.

"Just an hour or two away, I'll be beheading Ethan" the cynical Amber who is also very confident.

"I'm also very impatient to go in and slaughter them all" Dexter said.

"Kill the resistance" Martin warned. "But don't hurt those who give up, because we need them later."
