Chapter 15 - A Kiss for the Don Mafia

"It's so stupid!" A middle-aged man runs amok on some of his men who he has deemed to have failed in carrying out a mission, even shooting one of them right around his neck to make him die instantly. "How can six people die at the hands of one young man? Aren't you trained agents?" his sizzle with fiery eyes.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Antonio" said one of his men with his head bowed in. "I really planned everything very carefully, this was completely beyond our expectations."

"Doni, you really let me down today" he sighed Antonio while pulling his hair in frustration. "I had to get rid of Rae immediately before she could take the position of leader of the parliament. I had to beat him back and to do that I had to put his daughter in danger because that was the only way to threaten him."

Antonio continued to babble non-stop, he looked so frustrated because of what he really wanted he never got. "I fought desperately to get everything, but the old man always beat me."

Fighting in business and politics is dangerous, there will be many sacrificed but if one is able to reach the top, then nothing can match the enjoyment of success.

"I always lost to him in the business world, now he's going to go into politics and come back to beat me? I won't let it!"

"I don't like political officials" exclaimed Louisa as she enjoyed her lunch.

"Why?" ask the father gently.

"They're a little, but they all look rich. I heard it was corruption, just like Kim's father did" Louisa said. "A lot of people make fun of Kim, I don't want anyone to tell me that corrupt boy."

"Darling, a career in politics is great. Even though the salary is small, it doesn't matter and your father won't be corrupt" Agtha said. "People who commit corruption are only people who lack money, while we do not lack the slightest" he continued.

"Then why did Daddy want to jump into politics? Wouldn't that keep Daddy busy? You're gonna have no time to be with me." Louisa's face looks gloomy, even now her appetite is gone. "After a long time, we can finally have lunch together at home. But you're talking business, aren't you bored?"

"Don't do that, Lou," the mother firmly rebuked. "We're doing all this for you, baby, for your future."

"You have only one child but you both continue to work as if you have a thousand children to feed. Though I think everything we have now is very enough, I always eat good, always shop for expensive goods even our house is like a palace."

Lady Agatha gave a heavy sigh, she glanced at the husband who was now busy with his phone. "I think Daddy can only stay away from the phone while sleeping." Louisa put her spoon down violently to make a loud enough sound, it caught the attention of the father.

"I'm sorry, honey, it's quite important" said Mr. Bertrand.

"Whatever," when Louisa moved out of her chair.

The little girl looked very annoyed, even her eyes were already glazed so badly. It did not escape the attention of Ethan who had been watching him since and it made him remember his childhood.

While Lady Agatha and Mr. Bertrand did not seem to be concerned about Louisa's actions, they did not even prevent Louisa from leaving even though their daughter's food had not been exhausted. Things like this seem to have happened so often that they are getting used to it.

Ethan follows Louisa who now goes to the backyard, the girl continues to walk and eventually stops by the pool. "Ethan?" call Louisa without looking, she knows Ethan is behind her.

"Yes, Miss Rae" said Ethan.

"If we get married, we have only two choices. The first choice is to have a lot of children. So that our children are not lonely if we are busy working," Louisa chirped just like that and this time Ethan smiled faintly in response.

"The second option, we can have one child but we can't be too busy. Our child needs his parents to be confiding friends, or at least friends to spend a little time together. How's it?"

Louisa turned her head, she threw her serious gaze at Ethan who was now back with a flat face.

Don't let Louisa know that she just smiled!

"Talk that to your future husband, Miss Rae," Ethan said.

Louisa clucked in annoyance, seemingly making Ethan bend his knees at her was impossible.

"Ethan, have you ever wanted to give up on life?" louisa asks while removing her clothes that make Ethan have to swallow.

The girl's tiny body was now plastered in front of her eyes, wearing only a very cute and sweet underwear.

Louisa jumped into the pool then she started swimming.

"Ethan!" He screamed loudly until Ethan was awakened from his daydream. "The answer to my question, Bodyguard!"

"Never, Miss Rae," replied Ethan. He walked slowly until he stood by the pool.

"Why?" asked Louisa who was now standing in the middle of the pond.

"Life is only once, then all I want I have to get for my life to be perfect."

Louisa nodded in understanding, then she swam closer to Ethan. For some reason, Ethan crouches down when Louisa is now nearby. "Near!" louisa exclaimed at her Bodyguard.

Ethan obeys, he approaches Louisa and soon the naughty girl pulls Ethan on the nape and then kisses his lips.

Ethan glared perfectly, his heart stopped beating and he held his breath for a while. In fact, his body felt cold hot.

It was just a brief kiss, just a second. However, being able to make Ethan feel numb but also feeling a foreign taste simultaneously. A sense that struck right in his heart.

With a smile Louisa said, "I won't give up on getting your love either, because by having you my life will be perfect."

Ethan is unable to answer, while Louisa now swims back in peace. It was as if he did not care about the sin he had just committed.
