...3 Hours prior to execution...
"You crazy?"
"Where's your brain, huh?"
"Do you know what's at stake is the lives of all of us?"
"You think killing people is as easy as killing ants?"
Ethan only glanced at Peter who continued to babble and get angry with all the plans he had arranged without involving himself or Simon. While Simon himself could only be dumbfounded, not expecting Ethan to step so faintly but also far away.
And only now did Ethan give a talk to them, didn't it make them angry?
The two men are also shocked to see the arrival of Dante and the twenty others Ethan brings in from the secret door.
"You trust them more than we do, son?" simon is considered too dramatic by Peter. Simon was saddened that Ethan was acting out of their control
"There's no need to be sad," exclaimed Peter. "This boy does not seem to believe in us, so he invites strangers to work together."
Simon smiled wryly, while Peter clearly showed his anger. However, Ethan just responds to all that casually.
"There's still some junk you want to get out?" ethan asked while sitting upright in his great chair.
"We are very disappointed in you!" hiss Peter sharp.
"Well what our lack is until you prefer a stranger" Simon snide.
Dante and his friends are silent, Ethan has told them what Simon and Peter will react to. So they were not surprised and did not need to react to anything.
"So ...." Ethan looks at Peter and Simon in turn. "My plan tonight is to trap all of them, and finish off those who enter the base one by one, with strategy, not pitting guns or muscles." Ethan explained calmly.
In fact, he did not bother to explain why he did not want to invite Simon and Peter in designing his plan. Or, explain how he could get twenty former military members on their side. Ethan is really just focused on his mission, and Simon and Peter seem only obligated to follow Ethan's instructions.
Peter smiled cynically, and so did Simon.
"Tonight we want to party!" exclaiming Peter who can not stem his sense of regret.
"I want to drink to get drunk." Simon chimed.
"They all know every corner of our base, Erik might give you a blueprint for this building. So they'll know where to move from and where." Ethan goes back to his explanation, really making Peter and Simon want to scream in anger.
"We can't hear what you're saying" Peter said coldly.
"The numbers we lost were far, but we could kill them all one by one. Therefore, Peter would watch every corner of the base through the camera and tell us where they were moving. Then we'll act as executors, kill them."
Peter clucked, he looked at Ethan very sharply and in the end he resigned to Ethan's plan. "So you want me to be a coach?" ask Peter.
"When the Eagle members are trained members" Simon continued. "We can finish them off easily if we design this plan with all of them."
"I have a good reason why I won't let them take up arms tonight" Ethan said. "But you guys take it easy, I've brought them all. A respected member of the military, who has never lost against the enemy. Who is always able to devise strategies and strategies."
Ethan looked at Dante's friends seriously then continued. "One member of the military who has a warrior spirit, a strong sense of confidence and purpose, has the same strength as twenty people or even more."
"Then what is my job?" ask Simon who is now also resigned, choosing to believe in Ethan's plan even though there are still so many questions in his mind. However, he knows Ethan is smart and knows what steps can benefit them.
"First, make sure all the children are unconscious and close access to where they are!" ethan made Simon look up.
"You really don't want to get them to take up arms tonight?" squeal Simon.
"It was my promise to them, abstinence for a leader breaking a promise," Ethan replied confidently.
Dante and his friends who heard the Mafia conversations were a little confused and clueless, especially with what was in Ethan's brain. All they knew was that a gangster was a brutal man, a soul so cruel. However, only now did they discover a gangster leader who was possible for others to make a foolish decision.
Ethan explains all the plans he's been working on with Dante for the past few days. Peter and Simon had no choice but to follow their leader, much less the plan seemed to have a considerable chance of their victory.
"Can they be trusted?" ask Peter to be sure.
"We're members of the military" exclaimed one of Dante's friends. "If gangsters like you can still honor promises, let alone us who are true warriors."
Peter and Simon looked at each other with skewed smiles, their feelings mixed now. Between being annoyed at Ethan's actions, and also proud of Ethan's intelligence and ingenuity. However, of course they are also afraid what if tonight is the last night they step on the earth? Given the number of enemies Ethan will let in quite a lot and is fully armed.
However, they had no choice but to move forward. Believe in their leaders as well as in their own strength.
...Now ...
